Cute place but disappointed by the service and the accessibility of working outside. I work from home and come to these coffee shops to break up the day. So a $5 cappuccino is not a necessity but could it not be simply dumped in a cup in front of me and this place was not busy. Pics boast cute and lovely drinks. NOT MINE as you can see. Plus working outside was a hassle. Only one table had a working outlet. No thanks not wasting time here again.
One of the most beautiful and inspiring coffee shops that Ive been to. From the art to the warm lighting, this shop is really made for any occasion from spending a day working to meeting up with a friend. They had one of the most extensive list of flavors to pair with your coffee which makes for a good reason to revisit. This is my new favorite coffee shop in Dallas and one of the first coffee shops I recommend anyone visit in the area.
Quaint little coffee shop tucked away in downtown. The pour over was on point and they have a pretty good summer menu out right now!Good place to get some work or studying done if you need to focus. Downside is that there is no natural light inside so its all florescent bulb lighting. But they do have a patio so you can chill outside ☀️
Enjoy an upscale atmosphere? Magnolias should receive top billing for atmosphere. It is warm, it is comfortable and the perfect coffee shop atmosphere. The baristas were very knowledgeable on their coffees and accommodating. There is plenty of space to spread out and distance as necessary. The cafe also offers some pastries which where decent but not outstanding. I enjoyed the blueberry muffin which they will warm for you. On a rainy day you could see yourself lounging here for a while.
We stop by here with the family every time we’re in town! Beautifully designed cafe in Harwood, with friendly staff and great coffee options. I like my coffee simple and usually opt for a latte, but have gotten adventurous and tried some of their specials like the lavender latte. Indoor seating was open when we visited in November, and there are quite a few tables set up outside. If you’re into art check out the paintings hung up around the shop - they’re all for sale!
Its a great location, good service, coffee is so flavorful hot or cold. A pleasant café to savor your cup of coffee. 👍🏽
Even if you can ignore the beautiful setting and incredible view, you are left with an amazing restaurant with impeccable service and a wonderful menu. The food is wonderful from start to tasty dessert ending and all served with a friendly but classy elegance. It was a fantastic end to our trip to dallas. Highly recommend.
Love this place! I’ve been to many coffee places but nothing compares to Magnolia. Coffee is always delicious, and as an added bonus the staff is amazing!
We live right in the neighborhood, so were biased, but this is our go-to coffee shop (RIP Crooked tree). The coffee is still great, the sandwich and quiche are delicious (and so are the pastries for the sweet-toothed advocates). Seating can get limited but they have a very cute outdoor seating (loved by instagrammers). Speaking of which, I love the art that is in the café! Service is usually fantastic too.
Very nice cafe with outdoor seating and a comfortable interior with tables and sofas. Good for studying alone or on a date with BAE.
Their lavendar love latte was the best coffee Ive ever had. And theyre dog friendly!
Really great coffee and atmosphere. Would’ve given a 5 star review but the cashier was really rude. All the other employees were really nice but he made my family think he was gonna spit in our drinks.
Highly recommend this coffee shop for everyone to try (especially coffee enthusiasts). The coffee was very good! Very polite staff and knowledgeable about their coffee. Unique interior design. One of the workers there told us to checkout the rooftop view/garden above the shop. It ended up being a great experience! The rooftop view/garden had a decent view but the lights, fountains and big chess board game made it an amazing place to chill. I would definitely go again if I didn’t live in Massachusetts!
Really enjoyed my Wednesday morning working at Magnolias. It was fairly busy, so a nice buzz with light music. I had a green tea they brewed fresh then put over ice for me. Be prepared, a 16 oz tea was $6.50... Didn’t have food, but from what I saw it looked awesome! I’ll be back.
It looks expensive also there is cool art in here. I liked the art here better than art museum actually which doesn’t make any sense at all. I would like to go back if I ever go to Dallas again.
The place is very clean and sweet. The chocolate dessert is love. Made from rich chocolate, it comes in a cube shape.
My favorite place for coffee. I come here every Sunday now and I love everything here from coffee to their delicate desserts. Ramon is friendly and kind. I just love coming here!
Its hard to say anything differently than all the people before me. Really great place. Good pastries. Hot chocolate. Sandwiches. And yes COFFEE!The staff is friendly and its very inviting. Its always got a cool breeze in there.Charming spot in Dallas.
Laid back vibe, clean comfortable space. I really enjoyed my coffee. You will enjoy it too.
Loved my experience here. So many syrup flavors and the best variety of milk substitutes I’ve seen. Plus they gave SF options!! My chocolate croissant was delicious as well. Atmosphere was hip and very conducive to getting things done in peace! Great for working on a project or grabbing coffee with a friend.
A semi-hidden gem in Dallas. This beautiful decorated coffee shop is the perfect place to stop for something warm. I got the chai latte and my boyfriend got a caramel latte. Both were tasty and looked great as well. Prices are very reasonable, and the snacks looked delicious!
Loved the feel of this place! We were there for a dog adoption event with Dallas Pets Alive! and it was snowing and sleeting and the place was soooooo cozy. Clean in and out. Plenty of seating and pet friendly. BTW the coffee is the best tasting and smoothest Ive ever found. No comparison with SB and I dont usually like anything but SB. I had the Live Poem Late. Yum!
Located in Hardwood district. Not an abundance of study spaces near outlets. Some oddly placed comfy seating, but may be because of COVID. Serving Avoca out of fort worth. They were brewing Misty Valley as a cold brew which was really good. Espresso straight up was too acidic for my taste. Cool wall art. Color theme is teal. A little bit too trendy for my taste. Overall not a strong date or study option. No great parking options. Baristas were chatting loudly amongst themselves behind the bar.
Delicious coffee and pastries! Cozy atmosphere and the magnolia trees outside are beautiful.
My fav coffee shop in Dallas. Very hip decor which attracts a pretty hip young crowd. I highly recommend their toasted sandwiches!
This coffee shop is spacious, and I love the atmosphere and interior design. Great coffee and pastries. Amazing baristas and staff!

Nice place to spend free time. Exepcianal service. Good coffee and food.

Cute and comfortable spot. A little loud but overall great coffee!
Ive tried Downtown. Uptown. Victory park. Deep ellum. Harwood. State thomas. Highland park. University park. West village. But this is the best mocha. Staff is Friendly. And Knowledgable. Love stopping here.
Fantastic service and coffee! The espresso is smooth and sweet. The atmosphere was uncomfortably quiet due to no music and people shuffling awkwardly. Some ambiance in the music area wouldve been great!
Not too shabby of a place. Its dog friendly, legit dog friendly. They let you take your pet inside the shop so you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee with your furry companion. Im not much of a strong coffee drinker so I got the hot chocolate. It was super frothy and to me, foam is just empty space that eats up the ounces of your cup. To get more value for your money, opt out on the foam.
My fav coffee shop in town.
Lovely place! Very charming, great coffee.Wifi is very solid. Cellphone connection inside is not the greatest (T-Mobile) so you may miss some calls. For working the ambient noise is nice, however to have work/zoom calls the atmosphere is a little too loud. Great staff, would recommend!
Such a cute cafe with delicious pie sections!
Good pizza and pastries at great price
Great little coffee shop. They take pride in each cup they make. A little hidden gem on Harwood.
I totally fell in love at first. Love everything about them. From ambience, decor, coffee, to their service. Definitely left a lasting impression.
Super tasty lattes and their chocolate chip cookies are just as delicious, if not more! The staff is also friendly and the ambience is superb for getting some work done or just hanging out. 👍🏼👨🏽💻🙂
Not many options on eating, but the cookie and Americano were very good.Great espresso, atmosphere is good, mellow coffee shop.Really like the drawing on the wall that explains the differences in coffee orders. Will take pic next time
Great coffee shop and amazing artwork!
The baristas are enough to keep you coming back, theyre so friendly and hard working.
The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Magnolias has a very homey vibe to it, and there is plenty of seating, so it’s a cool place to work or hang out. They have an abundance of syrups and flavors, so you’ll never run out of lattes to try, or if you enjoy tasting the natural flavors of the coffee, they serve Avoca beans, so it’s high quality. The only downside is the parking- if street parking isn’t available, you’ll need to park in the office building’s visitor lot and then walk around the building (or at least that’s what we did). Overall, wonderful place for a coffee date!
Best Coffee shop in Dallas.Their Iced coffee is to die for and if plus you can buy a banana nut muffin to go with it! its amazing
Magnolias is a slightly more fancy coffee shop than your casual cafe downtown Dallas. Its in a swanky office building and is kept very clean. You order in the front and seat yourself in one of the many tables or couches in the space. I ordered a latte and it was well brewed!
Fantastic service and coffee! The espresso is smooth and sweet. The atmosphere was uncomfortably quiet due to no music and people shuffling awkwardly. Some ambiance in the music area wouldve been great!
Friendly staff, good coffee, relatively easy parking in the downtown area

Great coffee, loved to study here
Not great coffee, I just got a regular black coffee and there were grounds in my drink and it tasted way too bitter. This place definitely looks like a legit coffee shop but I’ve received better coffee from a Starbucks
The baristas were very knowledgeable on their coffees

Great service, cool vibe, delicious drink (latte). My go to after a run on weekend mornings!
Super appetizing. The place has an awesome atmosphere. Reminds me of a place in New York I loved to visit.
Best cafee
The lighting and seating is really nice. Finding parking might be tricky. But I did find parking as someone was leaving. There is limited street parking. I was expecting better coffee however.
This is a cute coffee shop located in the Harwood District of Downtown with an eye-appealing look inside. I recently visited this coffee shop and knew I needed to come back for a longer stay to get work done. The weather was just perfect that they had the wall fully open where there is additional outside seating. The food is good and theres plenty of seating for either work or a conversation with a friend!I love the lunch special where you get a drink, sandwich and side for $10. A little savings of money that I dont mind!Im excited to come back again and stay a bit longer!
My iced latte was amazing. And my husband who isnt a coffee fan likes this place as the to go food was good. He loved his ham sandwich
Very cute place, my favorite coffee shop!! Love the people and atmosphere. But PLEASE. MOP AND CLEAN YOUR BATHROOM. Ive been countless times and can tell it is NOT mopped. Its so bad it makes ME want to do it just for the satisfaction. Aside from that I love everything. Just... Youre a Harwood business. Show it.
