Clean shower clean pumps parking better be early, RV pumps and cleaning 🧹 hot food

We had a large group of 8 people and ate at Denny’s on Oct 7, 2021. There was only one waitress on staff and she was phenomenal. Her name is Charita. She brought all of our orders quickly and perfectly. She didn’t show the stress from being understaffed but instead she was cheerful and helpful. If there’s a way to give her a raise or promotion or something, she’s earned it. We were so blessed to have her serve us.

Yes, individual RV PUMPS are available. Also, dumping, no water of any sort to clean black tank. The RV PUMP lanes are very tight. It is best to take a loop in front of store and then you can drive straight out after pumping gas and or dumping.The usual great selection of food and other delectables. Had to stop and get fuel and breakfast this morning. I asked the people behind the counter if I could get a breakfast sandwich without meat on it and they told me no. I asked if they was gonna put oatmeal out they said yes but never did. I also heard them talking bad about me when I turned my back. I also noticed that the employees were all parked in front of the store and one of them even part in a handicap parking spot. I guess Ill go across the street to the TA truck stop and fill up with fuel and eat. Sorry I came here first.

I was ordering food the person on the food didnt even want to answer if it was up to her and I ordered fish piece and asked for container or tray to put food on she says u only got 2And put them In bag like hello I dont need to order 10 to be in box or container

Showers are dirty. Garbage can wasnt empty and there was a dirty towel on the floor.

Parking is full at 3 pm including paid parking. It’s hard to find parking spot in Dallas for trucks. Facility is okay. They have improved a lot.

Clerk shorted me $4 then didnt own up to it...had a attitude the whole time of the transaction as if he didnt want to be their

Truckers be careful I parked here for 6 hrs and I went to take a shower by the time I got back to my truck I found my trailer’s doors were open and 10 packages of the products I was hauling were stolen. I went around telling some of the drivers what what happened to me and they stated that same thing happened to another driver not too long ago. So just keep your eyes drivers. I was out of hrs but I took off and I’ll never park here again.

I loved pilot and fly j truck stop but this truck stop is the worst truck stop I ever seen .They refused to served me for no reason-and everyone worked there are not friendly and they are lazy and they are not listening or pay attention to you specially when you order something or if you asked them to be nice and they will refused to serve you and kick you out the door.Everyone is rude and lazy .All employees need to change their behavior especially the security man he is so rude .

I get really good discounts through my company on many big name truck stops. This one in particular is always like 5 cents lower that the other flying J 3 miles away.But is not as clean compared to other Pilots, I just get my fuel and its it. Everything else here is just average.

Ive only been here once but the manager on shift was awesome. Greeting every customer that comes in the door even had the other employees doing it as well. Really makes you feel welcomed. Will definitely stop by here again

The worst truck stop in the world !!! Here steal tarps, spare tires and other things from you. Be careful as you plan to sleep here !!! Security is not doing own job.

Bad management, if you paying by the parking 24 hours and you are on the spot and paying for another 24 hours, they don’t let you doe that, no organized, is this the right way to treat a client………..? Make me fill sick on this place…….

Dont really want to stop at this location anymore but my updated visit was no change. No RV in the RV parking but I have to leave in my RV. The dump station is broken so I wish that my honesty kept me from paying instead of just dumping. 1/15/20

The available free parking is a joke.They claim 144 parking spots but only 15 free tractor trailer spots available. Everything else is paid parking.Very unlikely you will find a free spot.

Expect long waits and poor customer service from both Dennys and the store. The employees have bad attitudes, the food poor quality, and the in line/food wait times were slow. Hopefully management doesnt think this is a joke, and reform their help.

Truck standpointCrowded, trashy & dirty. The first few pumps are in a tight location so Id suggest only bobtails use those.

What is happening here.... and several other Pilot/Flying Js. Took a shower at night and no t paper. And no foot towel in the shower. When I got out it was outside.... Great place for it to be. The next day I decided to use a private bathroom (thank you power shower), and there was a foot towel there.... what the....... .

Cashiers really friendly and restrooms is very clean and also coffee side have so many options.

If I had an option of giving no stars I would. This is the worse flying j Ive ever been too. Employees are very rude and they leave customers waiting while theyre talking. I also visited Dennys, horrible service. The diner was very dirty and most of the employees were outside smoking while the customers were waiting to be seated. Very dirty truck stop! Nobody seems to care about their customer service. I will never stop here anymore!!

Very busy location, truck parking is a mad house and fills up around 3p. The layout of the parking really needs addressed. Trucks parking in all the no parking zones makes it difficult to get around. Showers were in good condition and clean. Wait at the register was too long. With it this busy open more than two registers. Todays crew was more interested in playing around between each other than quick, efficient customer service.

Get your gas (or diesel) and go. Overall not impressive. This is not a place you want to hang around much if you have a choice. Ive been to Pilot and Flying J all over the country. This one is far from the worse, but it needs serious improvement.A full and comprehensive review of all thats wrong with this place would be far longer than anyone cares to read.Heres a super quick brief, far from complete rundown:Overflowing trash cans throughout the lot. Was like that at night, the next afternoon the same ones hadnt been emptied yet.Toilet in my shower wasnt as clean as it should have been.If youre in an RV and youre looking to park in the RV Parking out front, forget about it. Not happening. Like so many locations they let s bunch of cars park there. This is crazy, because those cars can park anywhere. The RVs cant and the one designated area for them its being allowed to be overrun with cars. On many levels it just seems management isnt on the ball here like they need to be.

This Flying J is a nasty, dirty and smells badly. On top of that they are towing trucks out of marked parking spots I would have avoided this Flying J if I was you and move on across the street to the TA

One of the most disgusting gas stations I’ve ever been in in my entire life. Women’s bathroom was atrocious. All stall doors locked except for one with no one in them. Only door that was left open had what looked like poop and throw up and mounds of toilet paper in it. Had to pee on top of someone else’s poop.

This place was remodeled nice and nice showers but not bench inside and the coffee area is disgusting

Very dirty and lousy place

The RV dump and fill station is convenient and not usually crowded. But the station itself is pretty humble.. the potable water spigot feels like its about to break, and you might also need a pair of pliers to open the valve

I am a golden customer of the Pilot Flying J. I never go to different truck stops. This place in Dallas, so annoying. Security bothers you every time when you are trying to take a rest. Security woke me up in the middle of the night and afternoon knocking the door so hard. I hate this place.

Filthy dirty both inside and out people in the store could care less whether youre there or not the parking lot its so nasty I hate to put my shoes back in my truck was there 4 hours approach twice people wanting to do small tasks for money security guards are only there to ensure that reserved parking brings in that money not your security wonder if Flying J is paying the taxes on that payload

Full of bobtails, dropped trailers and local guys who use it as storage. Lots of reserved spots to get even more money out your pockets.

Employees are sensitive to all us truck drivers who are spending Christmas 2020 keeping the store shelves stocked by sacrificing family home time to keep things moving! This place is nothing but a junk yard.Broken down trucks taking up parking spaces.Bums thinking you owe them money for backing into a spot.

Doesnt matter if you pay for parking or not, people drop trailers for weeks and employees dont care. Dont waste your time even paying they wont check. Must miss this flying j. Worst in the country

Its been a looong day! You deserve a clean,hot shower*Purchased $451.00 worth of diesel fuel..BUT was told to get off the property due to NO available parking!Parking lot FULL of dropped trailers,vacant bobtails,box trucks,and rental trucks!...and dont especially think about parking in the Out of Business/ bankruptcy IdleAir spots!!

Folks, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but dirty, poorly managed, unprofessional rude employees, inedible food, understocked, overpriced, filthy truck stops are now the normal. Over 40 years of driving, I never thought it would come to this. 7 weeks more of this hell, and Im out. Good luck, be safe, stay well

By far one of the worse truck stop in the all country . Security guard are super rude and waiting for anything to tow you truck a make money.

This has got to be the biggest dump for a Flying J. Fuel islands and showers are nasty. Cashiers are very lacking in customer service and very rude to customers not to mention the rude security guards that speak to customers as if they were in some sort of jail. The Haslam’s need to clean house here. They should be ashamed at the condition of this location.

Funny how they will get aggressive with any customers not wearing a mask properly, but most of their staff wear their masks like this... And this lady was serving food! They called the cops on me for taking this and all the other photos of their employees not following the policy that Eli the manager power trips on with his customers.....and he straight up lies when hes called out on it...Sad

I stay there a lot . The security is outstanding. I usually park in the bobtail Park ing . Only problem I get in there around 6: sleep like theyre always out of food in the evening.. I spent a lot of money at that fly j. . but they lose a lot of money because they are not taking care of their food and their soups like they need to they tell me its because of the help then they need to get some new help can you bring the standards up to take care of the customers

All the parking are mandatory pay of 10-15$, the food is overpriced, the toilet in my bathroom was broke ED with no rubber or silicone, smelling nasty, the customer service is unprofessionalism,they charge you 15 $ to use a parking with internet, AC or heated, 120 volt, TV channels but you never get nothing of those,is a mess at there.

Horrible showers. The toilet was dirty. No soap in the shower. Old towels from previous customers still in the stall. Disgusting. Never any food there either. Doesnt make sense if this a truck stop.

Theyre going to waste your time if your a professional driver. Pump pads dont work and theres no desk for professional drivers. Very busy, will waste your time.

The woman security guard working tonight was EXTREMELY RUDE.There is no reserve truck parking sign on parking spot where I park the truck . But she wake me up in midnight and said,”it’s reserved parking, and all the parking are full move your truck from parking space.” I show her no reserve parking sign here and I request her I will pay even no paid parking sign here .she said all Parking spots are already booked. You can’t stand here . You need to move .she spoil my logbook for next shift

Dont stop here. Your truck will be broken into in the middle of the day and your spake tire will be taken if you have one. The place is dirty in and out. There was urine across the floor in the batroom. Trash laying outside. Many homeless people as through they got a homeless shelter here.Go across the highway to TA. Much more secure, clean and pleasant. The management at this Flying J should be fired with most of the employees here.

Why is it always a problem getting a clean hot shower here? Showers always has trash on the floor and dirty towels and rags from previous guests. Dont dare ask them to clean the shower cause they will make sure you get all kinds of attitude.

Man, why was Cici still working here. She is a ride and disrespectful employee. She dont take her job seriously. A customer nicely ask her for a carry out plate to put his food in and she just rudely threw her hand up and say they are over there (behind the counter) and kept walking and mumbling. This place is a nightmare! (In/out, finding parking) Got kicked out of 2nd parking lot (Idle air) for backing in on a parking spot. A wanna B law enforcer employee told me to leave so I left like 4 ever! besides the place looks rundown & unappealing.

Got a tire needs air, pump air is not working, try the truck care center, very rude guy, almost yelled at me when I try to ask him where can i park for sone air. Sad, some people dont care if we put thousands of dollars in fuel at flying j. They can care less fo the customer.

Shutting down half of the pumps during rush hour just to power wash that could of waited till after 10pm when things slow down

Very busy and understaffed place. Be prepared to wait a significant time in line at checkout.Drink coolers are always in need of stocking.It is better than the horrid TA across the street however, but thats not saying much.

Great service, security guys are awesome, staff are extremely nice, bathrooms were clean, no wait for a shower, showers were clean for most part except for a tiny bit of beard shavings on the floor. We paid for parking to ensure we had a spot and no issues. Overall a great place to stay. The only downside is the cab companies dont show up there, so think twice if you want to go to the hockey game...we never made it.

This location has made it clear that regular travelers are not welcome. After spending $50 on fuel and $30 on snacks, drinks, and their version of “food”, I pulled into one of the 40 public parking spots to eat a bit, get some caffeine in me, and let my car cool down. Within 10 minutes, the Great Value security guards informed me that I needed to leave as “they don’t want people just sitting up here.” I showed my receipts and the Flying J bags I JUST PURCHASED, and was again told I needed to leave. Don’t waste your time, money, or energy on this location. It’s only a travel center for truck drivers and people sleeping in their cargo vans apparently.

One of the better truck stops ive been to around Dallas. Parking spots fill up fast, but they do have pay to park spaces as well. Nice staff and good food. Showers are small but nice and clean

Great staff. Great hot meals (try the baked chicken), barber shop and game room. Showers are very clean, great water pressure. Lots of free parking can also reserve a spot.

I travel a lot. And always go to the truck stops rather then the small gas stations. I feel safer bc theirs a lot of people around. Especially if your traveling at night. I stop at the Flying J and Pilots to get my mug filled with coffee. If you own a mug, you get a free cup after 4 or 5 refills. And, they take a few cents off the refills. Its very nice and their very light up!! So, I feel better stopping at the Flying J!!

Walked in furor mask. Security stops me. I go get my mask and get to the cashier whos not got her mask on right in front of him. She was nice with dark red hair but I think maybe there discrimination since Im white and was told I had to have my mask on but not her. OK on my way. Wont stop there no more.

Went into dennys restaurant and took 30 minutes for anyone to acknowledge that me and my friend were waiting to be seated. And then it took over an hour for our food to come. One guy was the bus boy,waiter,server,and cashier. Three waitresses were working but they were just doing nothing. Then got a cup of coffee from flying j it was like just plain hot water.

The worst Flying J in the USA. Rude staff, way too many panhandlers looking for a quick buck and the Flying J does nothing about it. If you cannot back in your semi truck on a 45 degree do not come to this location. Especially with your tandems all the way to the back there is not enough space!

The 3 stars is for the barber shop which by itself is 5 stars. but as far as the truck stop itself terrible handicap spots mean nothing here just park there and you will be fine as i was blocked in and i actually have a handicap placard

They never have receipt paper at the pumps. And if you go inside to get your receipt they wanna make you wait in line behind 10 people. Don’t go here to get gas if you’re in a hurry.

Clean restrooms. Well-lighted gas pumping islands. This is the only place Ive ever found six-foot long windshield cleaning/scrubbing sponge/squeegies to clean windshield, allowing me to remain on one side of the car and clean the entire windshield. Also, these scrubbers were stored in buckets filled with clean windshield washing liquid. These details are important (and are remembered) for travelers driving long distances and experiencing plenty of bug splatter on the windshield.
