The best secret hidden tacos!!! I’ve been coming for years now! Hidden inside the Green Spot convince store is one of the BEST places in Dallas to get tacos. I have tried every taco here and wow every single one is absolutely delicious. I drive 20min to get these tacos, it’s a craving you can’t get any where else. Their lunch is great too!Be warned you can’t have just one and you’ll be coming back!

Heard burgers were good. Burger was dry as it could be, lady cook not friendly. Paid $20.30 for 2 burgers and 1 fry. Not worth it. Will not return. Also, no pickles on burger!

Super unique gas station and taco hut!Most if not all snack foods here are healthy and or vegan which is amazing for those on the road trying to eat something quick and healthy.The tacos are absolutely amazing and must be tried.Service is very friendly.They have kombucha on tap even.Any chance on getting Ethanol free gas ?

Green Spot is a wonderful local restaurant / market that we frequent as they carry our favorite Noble Coyote whole bean coffees and have a delicious cafe in the back corner of the shop. For a quick sandwich or some really great, authentic tacos, it is one of our go-to spots. Parking is easy and the staff is always friendly. To order food, you go to the cafe counter and order and then take the ticket to the front of the shop to check out. They also have grab and go breakfast tacos by the register that are a good choice when you are tight on time. Love to support local businesses like the Green Spot.

At 1:20 p.m. already out of burgers. Drove 25 minutes to try his food. A burger without the bun is the best choice on his menu for people who are keto.

Hidden gem! Delicious breakfast tacos, tasty fresh coffee and fresh made salsa - all at a gas station! Katie is the best and always asks me about my dog. They even have vegan soft serve. Fun, funky East Dallas spot

This place has gone downhill. The cooks arent friendly and the quality of the burger has gone down. The Patty taste like a frozen pre-pressed beef patty and a little spongy. I paid $25 for two people with drinks and sharing fries. Liberty Burger is a better option. They dont even offer pickles for your burgers. Disappointed. I wont be back.

Great spot for alternative eating in a rush! Made to order reasonable price vegan and organic choices.No twinkies here- just self serve frozen yogurt, wide variety of Kumbacha bevs, tacos and my fav sweet potato fries. Nothing fancy. Lots of covid safety changes but navigable.Looking for alternative to every day fast food. Look here.

Safe plex-glass installation at the counter. Love their EV-usage chargers outside, although they mostly require the Blink card and mobile app doesnt work. Love this place

Please do not advertise that you sell gas if your pumps do not work. I never wait to fill my tank, but it snuck up on me this week, and I stopped here with one mile left. I tried three different pumps and none of them worked. When I spoke to the cashier inside, he said, Yeah, that happens sometimes a lot. Theres nothing I can do. Try a different one. It does not seem safe to have such faulty equipment at a gas station.

The cashier was WONDERFUL!!! I had a really awful encounter with another patron @ a nearby restaurant....I was in tears... Not only did she try to give me the $16+ gas can,she offered to help me push my car the couple of feet to the pump. Didnt get her name being so distraught & all but this incident happened around 3:50-4:15 pm Jan1 2019... I just want to say thank you

First visit and a happy time. Ordering logistics is a bit confusing at first but the food was good, prices was great, and staff was friendly. Wondering if a remodel to rearrange services would make things more streamline. Most times, with a handful of kids, streamline and simple win every time. This will be a new frequent stop when its just me or on a really laid back day with the kids. I hope to still be in Lake Highlands in 20yrs, hope this place is too.

This place is great! Theyve got kombucha on tap, and vegan soft serve, along with all kinds of other vegan treats, like seitan jerky and cookies. They make great veggie tacos, as well. Always nice to come in after a morning walk at White Rock and have some tacos. Very friendly cook and cashier as well!

I Used to adore this place! Beware you will be greeted by a small Caucasian girl with a non smiley face upfront. She has extremely repulsive, volatile and rude behavior towards people. I thought it was just me she was this way to. But I have seen other reviews with the issue of her behavior. Worst customer service!!! I will never go again!!! If you dont like working there, why are you still there ??? You should be fired, this place is losing customers because of you!!! I talked to the manager, he said just come when she is not there, really Adam!!! Wow! To the owner of this store, this is the way your manager handles things, not a joke!

These breakfast tacos do not disappoint. How is the bacon so good? What is the secret??? On my most recent visit the kombucha on draft wasnt working which was a disappointment. But normally, its pretty great.

Holy crap I did not realize this food would REALLY be THAT good but it is. Get the smoked chicken taco, its one of the best tacos I have ever eaten. I almost did not go in because how good could a gas station taco really get when Im used to fine dining and paying 100 dollars for an incredible meal.This was cheap and amazing. I will not go by there again without stopping for a taco. I am craving one RIGHT NOW. I have never been more pleasantly surprised by a culinary discovery : )

This place has a slight identity crisis which isnt a bad thing except that it makes the experience a tad confusing. It is part gas station, part coffee shop, part organic/vegan/hippie food store, and part street taco restaurant. It was initially unclear where to order and pay if you want food. You place your order directly with the cook at the window, take your ticket to the cashier at the coffee bar on the other side of the building to pay, and then keep the ticket to pick up your food. I was a little lost, and I actually thought that the coffee and food were separate businesses under the same roof. The food was good, though. Note that you order the tacos, you order one at a time á la carte style - this was also unclear, and I thought I would get a few tacos with my order, not just one. Im not upset about that because its a great way to sample the menu, but I just didnt know until I got my food.The coffee was good, too, but Im a fan of simple things like traditional cappuccinos and espresso. If you are expecting a big menu with lot of options and flavors like Starbucks, you may be disappointed. I was happy, though.

Every time I come here the blonde girl is always doing something, from cleaning the yogurt machines, stocking the shelves, and washing the tables. Always playing great old school music, none of that horrible rap music like some places nowadays. Also has a great sense of humor, and when my car was having issues she was glad to give me a jump. I’m so thankful for selfless people like her, there’s not many people like this anymore. Thank you so much again. I would recommend this place to everybody, more gas stations should have this same concept. Great employees, great food, healthy options, very unique, and in a great location. I hate going to 711 and worrying about being pan handled as soon as I walk out the door.

A gas station with a great selection of healthy snacks, espresso bar, fresh juice, kombucha on tap (if you like it), and vegan frozen yogurt. It also features a lunch counter serving terrific breakfast and lunch tacos, great nachos, and an enormous 1/2 pound burger and fries. A neighborhood standard!

My go-to for breakfast tacos mmhm! Made to order or grab and go at the register. Lunch is great too, A+ food all around and a salsa bar! They also have a pretty good selection of craft beer, multiple kombuchas on tap, CBD drinks/products & a FROYO bar! Gas is always reasonably priced. Sidenote fyi- they do not sell nicotine products.

An East Dallas treasure.There’s a lot going on here; coffee, beer/wine, teas, yogurt, tacos, groceries, gasoline, bio-diesel, ev charging, etc.I see some reviews like “this 10x10 gas station *taco* stand doesn’t make *hamburgers* like ‘mega craft burger chain’” or “these convenience store prices for all natural local products are more than bulk grocery store brands” or “the lady trying to do inventory didn’t treat me like the entitled princess I am” and I have a laugh.I don’t think I’d get along with anyone who doesn’t appreciate this institution exactly like it is :)

Dont get me wrong the food is amazing but the cook is a Hispanic lady and she is so rude and demanding. We used to love coming all the time when the cook was a man but I guess he doesnt work there. I only asked th lady if she could make me an egg and potato egg and she talked to me in a rude way that they were in the front instead of just telling me in a polite manner! I ordered a special taco instead and hurries me to give her the receipt. I was still looking for a drink and in lie to pay!!! She needs to calm down:

The best kept secret in the White Rock Lake area. I always get the traditional tacos, they just cant be beat. The habanero hot sauce they have is ridiculously amazing.

It seems like Im not the only one that thinks this place has declined - the portions are getting smaller & smaller & the food is just so so. Also, the lady that prepares it is not consumer friendly either! Too bad - I will rethink spending my money here!!!

I love the Green Spot!!! It’s so much better than your typical “gas station.” They have Holy Kombucha on tap at the very front with 3 different flavors, an espresso machine, an awesome little kitchen in the back and vegan froyo! 😍Their food is affordable and finger lickin good. Also the location is great, always great to stop in on the way to white rock. The staff has always been really accommodating and helpful. They are usually playing really great music also. I often find myself stopping in on the way to work to get a latte and a bacon breakfeast burrito. Honestly no review could ever do this place justice, go stop in and check it out 😌👍🙌

Went by today in way to lake, the clerk, some young girl, was the rudest person I have ever seen. Asked her for bag, she just hands it to me, was too busy on her phone, used to go all time and get those cookies they have! I will never go back!

Horrible!! I went to buy two organic root beers but I met with horrible customer service by a Caucasian female with head phones. I asked her how her day was and she responded by saying I have my headphones on for a reason please dont talk to me she works in the afternoon beware of her wrath! They lost me as a customer!!
