Diamond Exchange deserves all 5 stars! When I knew I wanted to propose to my girl friend, I had no clue on how or where to start when purchasing a ring. I browsed jewelry stores such as Jared, Zales, etc. but after browsing it appeared I couldn’t get much with my budget. Ive been searching for years for the right piece of jewelry to highlight my children. I wanted something classic, beautiful, elegant, and wearable each day. I found Shane with Diamond Exchange and their tennis bracelet was exactly what I was looking for! The band was flexible and delicate enough to be elegant. They then customized the bracelet to my wants without a huge increase in price! The end result was a work of art to me. I can not recommend them enough!

Bought 2 wedding rings, spent a couple grand. 2 months later 2 of the stones fell out of my wife’s ring. It wasn’t resized and she works a desk job so it’s not under any particular stress. Got charged $55 to fix it. Doesn’t give me great confidence it’s a piece of jewelry that’s going to stand the test of time nor that they stand by their products.

I want to say that this place was hands down the best, I met with Farah a few months back, then my family got sick and I had to put things on hold. I sent her a text one day and she stilled remembered talking to me and we started the process all over again. I will NEVER attempt to do business with this place or recommend that ANYONE go there! I went in and met with Farrah to go over options for my soon to be fiancee. I told her my budget and we went over some choices. They set some things aside and the next week I went in with my lady. She brought out several pieces that were over budget. Then she had her try on something that was almost DOUBLE my budget. She was very slick in how she was handling us. She saw my girl was very impressionable and tried taking advantage of us. I also had my Grandmothers Diamond that I wanted to use, and they were trying to get us to use it as a trade in. Roderick and Farrah both flat out LIED to me about the clarity and cut of the diamond, and its value. My girl and I left very unhappy, and it cause us both some emotional problems. Farrah called me a few days later and made a suggestion to go down in quality so save a little money. I told her that I felt very uncomfortable and that I didnt appreciate her bringing out options that were clearly out of budget. I told her that she lost the sale and that I was going somewhere else. She got very rude and started to raise her voice, and thats when I said that the conversation was over and hung up the phone. I went in to a regular jewelry store and told them what happened. We got the ACTUAL value and information for the diamond, and it was far above what Roderick and Farrah told us. We are now happy customers somewhere else. I seriously hope anyone reading this does not get taken advantage by these con artists.

The actual jeweler we had was good. But the lady in the front is clueless. We had to make three trips back to the place just to finally get what we asked for because she did not understand the notes from the jeweler and did not bother to ask him what he means. They did not offer anything or concern for the inconvenience of having to leave work early and fight traffic three times to make it to them before they close at 4:30. Just the additional tax they didnt include in the quote. My fiance went here by mistake. She was supposed to book and appointment with Dimond Warehouse which is in the same location but one floor up. No way this would happen there. That is were I bought the first ring.

I bought a custom engagement ring a month ago and absolutely loved it when i saw it, but I waited to post the review until I got the more important persons reaction. If I could give them 50 stars I would. I am in sales and as such did plenty of due diligence while shopping for an engagement ring. We knew what we wanted and kept getting the same run-around at every retail store we tried. Not only was there the high pressure sales pitch that was straight out of a training manual, but we only ended up ever getting shown one or two stones/settings and were repeatedly told that we would never find a better deal. Roderick and his staff are located in an office building(its a good thing!), not a retail store and passes the lower overhead costs on to the customer. We were immediately treated like family and friends. Roderick showed us stone after stone and setting after setting until we found EXACTLY what we wanted at a price that beat every retail shop we tried. They set the stone in less than a week when everyone else quoted me 4-6 weeks. They had it appraised by a 3rd party and supplied all documentation. I went to Dallas Diamond Exchanged based off the reviews from customers I read online. I am so glad I started here. I made an appointment and found the perfect ring for my fiancé. I gave Rod a price range for my budget and he showed me several options for both the higher and lower ends of my price range. All the staff there works well as a team to keep the customer happy. Once ring and band were picked out luckily they got me the set within days and I was able to take her to Cali and propose as planned.

I was looking to propose to my girlfriend and I came to this place due to a few peoples recommendations along with reviews online. Everyone said they had great prices and were satisfied with the ring purchased. My girlfriend and I chose a custom ring design together and submitted our request end of December. I told them im not in a rush. The first step was finding the perfect center stone as my ring was a bit complex(ruby emerald center cut with pearl/round shaped diamonds of various sizes around. Not going to lie it took them a while to find the right ruby as we wanted bright red and without breaking the bank there were no bright natural rubies within my budget. I did some research and decided to go with lab created eventually. They got back to me within a week with the perfect center stone. I received the care design a week later and I went with it. The ring came to me as promised. Everyone in the office especially Roderick and Shelby were helpful along the whole process updating me when needed. I would highly recommend them for engagement rings

I cannot say enough about how great the experience was. Finding an engagement ring is a daunting task. I had spent a lot of time searching online when I decided to check out DED. After sitting down to talk with Nic and Roderick and explain what I was looking for they quickly showed me a wide assortment of diamonds so that I could see the differences for myself. After a short time Roderick showed me a goregous oval diamond that I knew was the one. When I proposed to my girlfriend (happiest day of my life) she was so happy and amazed at how beautiful it was. Roderick and Nick will take of you from start to finish, period. I went in for an engagement ring and I will never step foot into another jewelry store again.Please know this is not your average jewelry store, trust me, its much better. You need to call and set an appointment up which will also let them know what your are looking for and what your budget is. Once in the store it is just you and them. No distractions, no switching customers, and nothing more important than getting you exactly what you want.Roderick had rings ready to go when I got there and went through them side by side until we narrowed it down, giving his thoughts throughout the process. Once we had the ring nailed down (well under budget) we started looking at changing out the stone for a better look. Out came another box and we started swapping stones in and out of the ring to find what I liked best, and we did, or so I thought. After thinking for a day or two I asked about bumping up the budget for a bigger stone and was told to come back in and look through some more stones. I liked the fact that he was not comfortable showing me anything out of my budget until asked to do so, even then, he was extremely careful to make sure he didnt show me anything that would be close to breaking the new budget.All in all, Roderick provides a relaxed, custom, and one-on-one experience that will leave you with exactly what you came in for and a feeling of full satisfaction when you leave, he really makes the process easy.

Amazed to find such a great place and group of people to work with for an important event in my life! I found Roderick and his team after reading all the great reviews here and they are all true. My fiancée and I had shopped around at a few places and already had an idea of what we wanted in a diamond. Many other places made it seem as though our budget was unrealistic and that we would have to settle for a lower quality diamond to stay within it. When we arrived for our appointment Roderick and his team, they had many oval diamonds to show us that ranged across our budget and what we wanted in a diamond.Roderick went above and beyond when he showed us a marquee diamond he recently acquired (with better clarity/color than the others we looked at) that he was willing to sell for an AMAZING price. He offered to cut the diamond for us into an oval and have it re-certified with GIA as such. He expertly cut the diamond into an amazing oval while barely losing any of the diamond carat weight (1.5 marquee to a 1.44 oval). In the end the diamond came back from GIA with a better symmetry than before and looked amazing. We customized the setting with Roderick and his team, and in the end I was able to get my fiancée the ring of her dreams at a great price. Throughout the entire process, I felt very comfortable and cared for, something that I didn’t get from the other places we visited. As a plus, how often does someone get to say they got their diamond custom cut for their fiancée!I will definitely return for all future diamond purchases and would send anyone his way in a heartbeat. My fiancée has already been complemented numerous times on the beauty of her ring, and I owe it all to Roderick and his team at Diamond Exchange Dallas!

I started out looking for an engagement ring over a month ago and I have to say I knew NOTHING about engagement rings whenever I first started. I went to Robbins Brothers, Diamonds Direct, Jared, Kay, and a couple of other major chains. I was going to purchase a ring at the first place I walked in (Robbins Brothers) and I’m so happy that I decided to look around more. Needless to say, Roderic at Diamond Exchange was the most helpful and knowledgable person I’d met out of every single place I went. The diamond I would’ve gotten from Robbins Brothers would’ve been almost $7,000 more. While Diamonds Direct was the most competitive in terms of pricing, they couldn’t get me a better diamond than Roderic. He also walked me through the grading system for my emerald cut and I’m so glad he did because I could find out what the most important aspects were to finding the perfect diamond. His prices compare to that of rings that you would find online, but you also get to see his diamonds in person before coming to a decision. You wouldn’t get that benefit from buying online and that’s scary. Either way, I highly recommend ANYONE searching for an engagement ring to go here and nowhere else. Believe me, I already did all of the searching for you and there’s no one better. Diamond exchange and Farah were great and I cannot recommend them enough. It was everything I hoped it was: knowledgeable, reputable, and with fair prices. Buying an engagement ring, I knew I knew nothing of diamonds, and that if I went to the typical stores I would pay a huge markup and get the standard treatment. Instead, Farah took the time to explain diamonds and ring settings, and look at several different options. Once I had a better idea of what they had, I did a quick shop around and could not find a better ring and price combination anywhere. They worked within my budget and found a beautiful diamond, and got it done in record time! And more importantly, the ring is now on my fiancée’s finger! She said yes!

The service I received from Roderick and his team was incredible! They dont pressure you at all and really want to find out what youre looking for, willing to customize the ring for you however you want it. The ring I got back turned out even way better than I had expected which I didnt think was possible! My girlfriend was blown away what I presented to her while proposing! Would definitely come back to them in the future for other jewelry needs and recommend them to anyone else!

My husband bought both my engagement ring and my wedding band here, and we had a wonderful experience both times! Here’s a couple reasons it’s worth buying here.First, diamonds are roughly 20%-30% cheaper here across the board for the same GIA certification. (We shopped around 12 different stores, plus online). My ring appraised for $3000 more than we payed for it.Second, not all diamonds with the the same GIA certification look the same. Rodrick got us a diamond that was significantly better looking than the certification would imply.Third, if you’re interested in custom wedding bands, these guys were exactly half the price of the other custom place we went to.Fourthly, if you ever scratch or damage your ring they can restore it to its original perfection for cheap. I was moving furniture into a pickup truck and severely dented my ring. $45 and a couple days later, you would have never guess anything had ever happened.These guys are AMAZING!!!

I visited Roderick at the Diamond Exchange and received a quote for an engagement ring setting, Diamond for the setting and a wedding band. This was not a high pressure sale and I was extremely comfortable discussing the “4 Cs” with Roderick. At the end of my meeting, I had a very attractive quote for the setting, diamond and the band and Roderick encouraged me to shop around and request quotes from other jewelers for similar settings, diamonds and bands. After visiting 7 other jewelers, I did not find prices that could compete with what Roderick quoted. Either the diamonds were significantly smaller or the clarity was inferior to what was quoted by the Diamond Exchange. In the end the decision was simple for me but please do your own investigation. I am sure you will come to a similar conclusion.
