This place is great. Ive been eating here since I was a kid. The fried chicken is worth the wait. They have the best Ranch dressing. Dont skip out on the enchiladas. The salsa is made from scratch. Everything is good.

Great food and great staff. This place has been serving great food for at least 50 years. Its where the lod timers and locals like to go. Truckers have to park outside the parking lot .No room for big trucks but plenty of room down the street. Outta towers dont want to miss this place.

I had the chicken fried steak. It was tender and tasty. My love May she had sirloin and said it was perfect. Our waitress was attentive. Her service was excellent.

Very cute neighborhood place.1. Service is AMAZING. Everyone is super nice and sweet :)2. My food was lukewarm at best, that made me sad.3. I saw food kind of sitting up in the window a long time. (They were busy so I can understand!)I will definitely be back! Just probably in an off peak time.

Food was decent, wait staff friendly. Place is suited for a large group up to 110 people. No buffet. Not the mort convenient place to get to.

Had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, corn, and a roll. The steak was ok. It was a little tough and chewy inside. The roll was fantastic. A soda order here comes in a can and costs 2.50. Thats a little high for a single can.It seems like many regulars come here as the staff seemed to know most of the customers and what they liked to order. All ordered breakfast, so Ill go that route next time.

The waitress was nice and although it took soooo long to get our order ... the waitress tried to make us happy by bringing us free chips n salsa and the food was delicious when it finally came

Update to my review..Unfortunately when I visited today my experience was not great. Ive never had problems before. I ordered the fried pork chops breakfast and one of my chops tasted as if it was about to turn bad. Also, our waitress brought our check once she delivered our food (we didnt ask for it) and she never came back to ask if we needed any refills or a to go box. I didnt eat the rest of my food and my boyfriend only ate a little of his. He still left her a tip. I definitely wont be back for awhile. If and when we do go back we definitely dont want her as a waitress.

This restaurant wasn’t for me. My friend loves this place, but I didn’t like what I ordered — the eggs Benedict. Perhaps that was the wrong thing to order. It’s also not my milieu.

The servers are on top of your needs, not letting the cups be empty, food is good and the cooks are fast too, if you like a mom and pop dinner, this is your place to go.

Love this place! Have been coming here for breakfast many years! The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is very family friendly, and the food is always freshly made! Prices are very affordable as well.

Every item on the menu is delicious and home-made. The waitstaff makes sure you have everything you need to be happy. Probably still using the original 1950’s recipes! Go and enjoy!

I was so excited because it’s been a minute since I’ve been to Circle Grill. My friend and I waited several minutes to be seated and no one waited on us. I’m so disappointed. I used to live it here. What happened to this place? I left without eating and will not return.

The vegetables were fresh and prepared just right. Our waiter was beyond great. I wish I had his name. I hope to be back soon.

The Circle Grill on Buckner Boulevard in Dallas, Texas has been a mainstay for at least 50 years. The inside of the restaurant is still the same as I remember it at least 30 years ago. Went for breakfast this morning and ordered the Denver Omlette with hashbrowns and toast. Both items covered a dinner plate. I noticed one item on the Friday supper menu was Salmon Croquettes. How long has it been since anyone had Salmon Croquettes!! It has been years since I have visited the Circle Grill and I recommend stopping by to check it out. Back in the day people would have to get their name on a list and wait for 30 to 45 minutes to be seated. The menu is very diverse from enchiladas to burgers. Circle Grill is located at Interstate 30 west and Buckner Boulevard next to Young Chevrolet...

So good 😋, I drive from way across town for the best eggs Benedict ever! Price, quality, quantity & service are fantastic!!! Even my picky grandkids have their favorite dish there.

We had a reservation on Fathers Day at 9:30am. After, waiting an hour and half for our food, we find out that half the grill broke. No communication from the waitress. Coffee refills were cold. No courtesy when refilling cups. She reached over our heads and drips everywhere. We finally received our food 2 HOURS later. My food was very cold on the bottom of the hashbrowns. The omelet was not full at all. Definitely not my choice to eat there.

Same thing every time we go here. Slowest place I have ever been to. I think they only cook 1 dish at a time. It takes forever to get your food. Its not the wait staffs fault its the kitchen that takes forever to make the food.

OMG this was the worst meatloaf I have ever had. With fake potatoes who does that at a home style cooking restaurant. On top of that the turnip greens were awful. All of that with no salt or seasoning in it. This place is for people with fake teeth and high blood pressure. I normally take my leftovers but why it was gross

The food here is awesome ! They make good country breakfasts.. Portions are enough to get you full when your finished eating. Big burgers and fries. Good supper meals and good desserts

They served undercooked food and forgot entire dishes. Still got charged for our missing items. Just go to Dennys or something. The food that was cooked wasnt good either. The pandemic shoulda put these guys out of business.

Wanted to try as it was on a list for fried chicken. The chicken was good but it would have been a lot better if the oil would have been hotter and it hadnt absorbed it. The sides were boiled and tasteless unfortunately.

Im an employee well not at the moment Im non active but yeah they got it going on . Weekdays open till 4pm weekends till 9pm. Kind of pricey but definitely Worth every dollar.

Wasnt bad at all. Food was quick service was good. Did call in and order was exactly what I wanted. Over all a good value for the portion. Would recommend for a quick in and out stop.

I’ve been getting breakfast here for several months now. Every single order has been perfectly cooked, delicious and well packaged (ordered via DoorDash). They have also accommodated and gotten my special orders right each time. I’m very happy with Circle Grill! Definitely recommend!

Circle Grill is one of the best restaurants in the city. The atmosphere takes you back to the good ole days. Old fashion pancakes, eggs, fried green tomatoes, etc.

There was a bug in my sons coffee, not a fly, but a small roach. Waitress just brought another coffee, didnt offer any discount or at the very least to not charge for the coffee, instead she just made jokes about it.

This was my second time visiting this place! Service was good, Paige was a very nice waitress but my mother and I were very disappointed with the food. I had some chili and my mom had a tuna sandwich, the food did not have any flavor and the cost for the tuna sandwich seemed pricey. Otherwise, the COVID guidelines are being followed, this place has been around many years, I personally like restaurants that are old school type restaurants. Maybe other food is good.

This place has vast variety of menu items, from breakfast to crepes. Wonderful cooks, staff, and management. I have been going there loyally for years. It is clean, well-preserved and smells fresh every time. I am always welcomed with a smile as I sit down at my booth. The waiters are superb, always ask plenty of times if I need anything else, they are not annoying, and the number of times they ask you is just right. The food is served in a big plate, worth the money for the size of it. They do take a while to cook it between 10 to 15 minutes, not bad. Also, depends on what you order. Try it, you will love it and the service as well..

My husband and I really enjoyed the food here. We were out early Saturday morning running errands and we wanted to eat something good but somewhere new to us. It is an older restaurant really good home vibe feeling to it. Pancakes were amazing I haven’t had good big pancakes like this in a while. And my husband enjoyed the chicken friend Chicken with the creamy gravy. The food wasn’t expensive either!

I have been in Pleasant Grove since 88 and I have driven past this place always curious but never gettinoff the gas. Finally 20+ years l go in and baby!....the fried AND baked pork chops were the shizzz. Theyve been here a long time for a reason.

Especially if youre visiting from out of State. its always something interesting and possibly will see officers and detectives from the(First 48 of Dallas) eating here on the regular,.. just dont be rude asking for an autograph while theyre going over cases & eating their breakfast or lunch.

Guess it’s the nostalgia factor for some, or most, but the food is rough. Typical greasy spoon. All of our items had an off putting taste that we couldn’t ID. Server was aces. Definitely had worse, but have had way better, too.
