Both employees tonight seems to be on their first day on the job. Just the level of confusion on how to make what we ordered was unreal. A customer should not have to repeat their order 4 times to get it right. When you have an item on your menu you should be able to order it. Employee never cleaned the cold marble to mix the ice cream between customers, I was not impressed when I get a previous customers ice cream mixed with mine. Don’t waste your time or money, needs some training on how to run a business.

Disappointed.When you first walk in they have soda on display, or what used to be soda, it’s so old it’s the color of ice tea.Ordered off the menu and the staff was confused, as if I had ordered in a foreign language.A fair bit of the ice cream in the display case was melted and liquified, then froze again- not appealing.Don’t waste your time or money.

Only giving 3 stars because the employee was great and did the best she could. Management needs to hire more people. 40 mins to get ice cream is ridiculously long. I did see the now hiring sign, however one employee running the entire place isn’t the best practice considering she was helping walk ins and also preparing online orders.

I went to this location for my son’s birthday and the employee never came out to help us. When asked if we could order she said she was busy. Another customer stated customers should be put first and the employee said no they don’t. I left and will never return. My son was pretty upset and let down. I have not seen such horrible service.

The store was not to clean. One ice cream flavor in others. No one had taken a minute to clean around the serving area. I frequent several of there locations. I wont be returning to this one.

I frequent Marble Slab Creamery. I went yesterday evening to get some icecream and fixings to take home as I normally do. This was the nastiest tasting icecream that I have ever had from there. The lady who did my order did not scrape off the reddish/pinkish icecream that was done before mine and all of that got blended in with my sweet cream. So disappointing. I have tried several times to call past noon today and no one will even answer the phone. Unprofessional.

Normally Marble Slab is my favorite dessert place. However. I asked for the flavor birthday cake with rainbow sprinkles as a mix in. She tried to just put them on top, but I asked her to mix them in. Then I get to eating my ice cream and its not the right flavor. She gave me vanilla... Boyfriend said his milkshake was basically liquid too. Not the best location of this chain... Employees dont seem to be treated and/or paid well enough to care about their job.

Went late night toward end of closing was kinda busier then expected but was fair service. Went with a friend, he got cookies and I went for ice cream since they were low on cookies being the end of the day. No complaints for the cookies as far as I know, Ive had the Great American Cookie brand at other places, usually the mall, and my friend had nothing to note aside from limited selection at late night. As for the ice cream, I feel as I have had better from Dairy Queen or Sonic. And was not given a lid, had to ask, plus the cup was over filled that made the lid almost pointless.

I would give this place a 0 based solely on customer service. I called early evening, so I could get information on ordering an ice cream cake for a friend’s birthday. When I called about placing an order, the lady who answered was on the phone with me for 30 seconds trying to rush me off of the phone. When I told her I wanted to place an order, her response was “I am alone in the shop and it’s busy so call back later”.Excuse me? I’m calling about ordering a cake from YOUR shop, and you’re saying to call back. If you’re busy, maybe schedule someone else to be in the shop as well. Needless to say, I was polite and told her I would call her back. Well, I’ve called 3 different times since then, and no one has picked up. Guess I’ll have to order an ice cream cake elsewhere. If you’re wanting to order a cake, please please go somewhere else.

I recently decided to try Marble Stone Creamery. I’m glad I did. I have been noticing many of the yogurt and ice cream places just lack flavor. Many rely on the candy and toppings and it seems that most places forgot what Vanilla should taste like. I went into Marble Slab and was amazed how good the ice cream tasted. The owner was working and she let me try a couple flavors. All were great! Definitely will be back. Give them a try!

Great flavor options, tried almost all and can’t go wrong here. The portions are huge so if you get a regular cone make sure you have room for it. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This was my first to this creamery and I asked for a sample of the flavor I thought I might want. The person behind the counter said no samples because of the pandemic. After ordering anyway against my better judgement she put the ice cream on the counter and doesnt offer me a lid. I asked for one, paid for my order, then turn to leave. The spoons and napkins are on a table as you leave for you to help yourselves. Heres my issue, you wont do samples and I understand that but you have unwrapped spoons and napkins for everyone to touch...how does that work? Oh and dont get the cheesecake ice cream it taste like vanilla ice cream not cheesecake!

Friendly staff. I dont know that ladys name, but she is a friendly, positive, upbeat personality! I had a bad day, on the verge of tears. I decided to treat myself, and she has such a great personality and wonderful customer care, as well as service etiquette. I turned my mood and my day all the way around by going to that place and the ice cream was amazing also.Thank you nice, sweet lady!I love your wholesome heart!

Great ice cream parlor with a variety of ice cream flavors. You have your choice of shakes, cones or a bowl. They offer many items to actually mix into your ice cream rather than just place on top like most places. Great for solo visits as well as with friends or family. They so offer a rewards program also.

The ice cream melts very fast! By the time I get home, it is almost liquid. It would help if they made the ice cream colder. However, I really love their ice cream and toppings. Cheesecake is my favorite!

Agged I called to see if open since been closed past week. Lady said they close at 5 . Drive up there and attempt to open door at 4:45 and its locked. Wish lady would have just said were closed so I wouldnt have wasted gas.

Every time I visit this place, I constantly get my taste bud wowed. They have the best Ice Cream I have ever tried my whole life!!! You can get as many topping as you want and at a very decent price as well.My husband got my birthday ice-cream cake from here and my colleagues at work kept asking where I bought it from.

I bet the ice cream is good but too bad we did not get to try it since the two young employees decided to close the shop early. Closing time on their door says 11pm for Saturday yet they were closed when we arrived at 10:48pm. One of the employees opend the door and said they “had closed for maintenance” since someone was picking up a shipment soon. Definitely contacting corporate.

The ice cream was good but the fruit was hard and very bitter. The cake for my strawberry shortcake that I had ordered was very stale. All n all I dont think that I will be returning.

Place was not clean. My husband, kid, and I came here to enjoy a nice time out and sitting here was NOT enjoyable because the floor was extremely dirty (looked like it hasnt been cleaned in weeks). The tables were all dirty, the chairs all over the place. The guy serving the ice cream wasnt wearing gloves and then handling money. The ice cream was alright. Definitely not what I am used to getting at other Marble Slabs. With so many other awesome places for ice cream in the area I am definitely not spending anymore money here.

The ice cream here is absolutely amazing! I havent even tried their fresh cookies or ice cream cakes, but if they are even half as good as the ice Cream--theyll be great! Definitely try this place if youre in the mood for ice cream 😊

(Now part of the cookie shop.) Not horrible, but the quality of the sundae I purchased simply didnt reflect the price I paid for it. Brownie was very dry and small. Hot fudge wasnt hot. Way too much whip. Wouldve been happier if it was a bit less $.

This location is amazing and has the coconut flavor alllll year around!! The manager and staff were amazing as well! This location is next to Carlo’s bakery and we choose this EVERY time! The mix in’s are always super fresh and ice cream flavors are all on point! Id give more stars if I could.

Arrived at 10:50, ten minutes before closing. Now it dont take long to get ice cream but the staff said they closed for maintenance and turned us away. They completely ignored the posted closing time and its one of the only days its even open passed ten. Corporate might want to hear about it.

Stopped in this eve about 4:30...the Icecream was terrible. Horribly gritty and bad. This is what happens when icecream melts, and is then frozen again, or sits in the freezer for way to long. The place was just dirty. The floor was so sticky my shoes even stuck to the concrete when I left. I will not be back, this place is disgusting and should be shut down. Eating bad icecream can make people sick!!!

I went to get my favorite ice cream with my son. I told the girl that was helping me I wanted a large cup with just cheesecake ice cream. She says really? No toppings? Thats awkward! The place is packed and shes looking at me like Im an alien or something.... I said yes I like my cheesecake ice cream with no toppings is there a problem? Shes like its weird, no one asks for plain ice cream... I was like seriously!!!! Thats the way I like it... The other girl looked at me like oh no I understand... I dont like nothing mix with my cheesecake I understand!!! I said exactly! I think it was really rude to question the way I like my ice cream! Just ice cream no toppings period! Really rude and immature...

The flavors were too sweet... Like the batch was caked with a tub of sugar. Also the ice cream was half melted when served and the cold top that was used to mix the ice cream scoops and toppings was not clean. I ordered an Amaretto and Black Walnut mix ice cream (which were cream and tan colored respectively) and received a half-melted sludge with a smidge of blue.

This relaxing little place is a prime spot to get yourself some very rich and creamy ice cream, offering over 15 different flavors and over 10 different toppings, you can come up with 100s of possibilities. Now for one small price and can take your ice cream future into your hands. Please my friends, enjoy.

Came here for ice cream today and our ice cream cones were literally melting down as she handed them to us. In the 30 years I’ve come to Marble Slab, I’ve never had half my cone melt off in literally seconds It was crazy bad. I don’t think their coolers or slab are at the right temperature. The bathrooms at this location were also not clean.

I came in from out of town and Brenda was behind the counter, working her tail off. She had no help, but had an amazing attitude and kept the line moving extremely fast, with excellent service and had a smile on her face in a very chaotic situation. This doesnt happen in this day in age. Brenda is a rare, incredible bright spot in this world. If you employ her, do whatever you can to keep her! Im so amazed that Im even writing my review before I eat my ice cream.

Ive been to this location 3 times with my parents bc they wanted ice cream. Unfortunately I havent been to impressed with the staff or the ice cream. Ive grown up on Marble Slab and the quality just isnt what Im used to. Nor is the service.

Great ice cream. Very crowded but service is excellent. The only location you should stay away from is the Waxahachie TX location. Every other location that Ive been to provides great quality ice cream and deserts with excellent service.

Careful. I came in here for a milk shake, but left with a milkshake, these two delicious cookie sandwiches with cream frosting in the middle and then an assortment of other cookies. What have i done.

Service was good for the amount of people there. My wifes tasted flat with no flavor. Mine was melting in my hands before I walked out of the store. Better at Braums better ice cream and less out of pocket.

Tried to use my rewards and was told icecream and cookie rewards cant be redeemed at the same time. So I offered to pay in 2 transactions. Then was told they dont even take great american cookie coupons. Why have me do 2 transactions then? Ice cream is good, but we come a long way to get here and its pretty expensive in the first place.

Stopped by for ice cream on my lunch break and stood there for 20 minutes before being acknowledged. The two ladies working were terribly slow and unaware. Additionally, the two ladies had no idea of what each item offered contained. AND neither washed their hands after touching non food items like books, phones, etc.We ended up walking out after multiple chances were given to the staff to provide good customer service. We will never visit a marble slab at any location after this experience.

I have no idea how this place has 4 and 5 star reviews. The bathrooms were both very dirty. There were signs on them that said “This is your bathroom, please keep it clean,” so I’m guessing they feel absolved of this responsibility. There is mold running along the bottom of the walls, as though there’s been flooding or leaks. The one employee there finished a fairly long conversation on her cell phone while I waited, which wouldn’t have been that annoying except she neither acknowledge that I was there nor apologized. The only reason I stayed and ordered was because I had promised my kids ice cream. Oh, and the ice cream wasn’t very good. Will not be returning.

Have not been to a Marble Slab in atleast 10 years. Went in today for my normal vanilla with strawberries and blueberries. The berries were frozen and not even smashed up. None of the icecream was frozen when she scooped it and by the time I checked out and walked out the door my icecream was basically milk consistancy. The lady at the counter seemed like she was having one of those days and just wanted to get people out of the door. Very dissatisfied and will not be returning.

I am seriously dumb founded at the condition of this ice cream shop. We took our kids in for a very rare ice cream treat and the place was disgusting! Everywhere you looked it was covered in ice cream spills and finger prints. The bathrooms made me was to run and flee! You could see pee splattered all over the floor by the toilet and there was mold growing in the bowl. The sink had soap containers that had run out so instead of refilling they added water. And to top it off, there was no paper towels at all. It was so gross. Now lets chat about the OUTRAGEOUS prices. I asked the lady working there to give all of my kids a kids size cup, she looked right at me when I said kids size! she also refused to clean the marble slab because my daughter has a gluten sensitivity, then she went ahead and put her ice cream on the uncleared slab after I asked her not to. Apparently, she got my son and my daughter confused (??? Pink shirt long hair vs blue shirt short hair ???). Then when I went to pay she confirmed all of our regular sizes, no I specifically said kids size!! She argued about it so I gave up and just paid but I can guarantee we will never, ever go back! She was rude, argumentative and the place was filthy! I worked at an ice cream shop growing up, I know how things are supposed to look. And even if I didnt... if you bathroom looks that nasty then Im terrified to know what the back looks like. I would encourage you to spend your money elsewhere!

Bought a Groupon and decided to try it. I usually visit Coldstone, but this is closer. I loved the cookies and cream waffle cup. Its a cozy place, wish they had outdoor seating. Ice cream was good and they had a good selection of toppings.

The Owner was absolutely awful. She publicly shamed and spoke down to her employees in front of a store full of customers. She kept telling the employee You make life so hard! After a small misunderstanding between cup sizes. The young girl that worked here was very nice and we are very sad to see her treated so poorly in front of everyone. The yelling continued in the back for almost 15min at the poor girl. I would completely avoid someone and their business if they treat their employees and people in general this way

Most of the signs are on the wrong ice creams so when threy give you what you ask for it is wrong. Also thry dont have most of the flavors that the others stores do like skinny vanilla so you might not get what you are wanting.

The place was supposed to close At 11PM and we got there at 10:06 PM And the door was locked and the workers looked at us and just turned their backs and ignored us. I can’t give this negative stars so I’m gonna give it one star.
