Last weekend my husband and I were casually walking through NorthPark when we decided to pop in and see what RIMOWA has to offer. Admittedly, weve seen the bags and stores around several major airports but knew very little about the brand. My husband has always preferred TUMI for our travel gear and theyve been generally good but the RIMOWA stuff seems to be a notch above. We were immediately greeted by Abraham and Ronald (both wearing masks). These are two extremely knowledge, patient and genuinely kind guys with a ton of energy and enthusiasm for the products they sell. They slowly walked us through the entire store, answering all the little questions we had about each and every item that caught our eye. Before long, we felt like experts with a strong grasp of the entire lineup. This brand and these representatives are at the very top of the industry; there is simply no comparison to anything else on the market. TUMI who? We walked out with four aluminum suitcases and two huge smiles! We might not be able to travel to Europe this summer but thanks to Abraham and Ronald, we are twice as excited for next years trip! Go see them - 5 stars across the board.
Went to the Northpark location due to the Fort Worth location being permanently closed. Despite the governor declaring that the mask mandate was over, the store was insisting on me wearing a mask and in fact would not sell me one of their most expensive suitcases unless I put one on (keep in mind each worker there was wearing TWO masks). Because of needing a new suitcase for the following day and having driven an hour to get there, I put on the mask and gave them a few thousand dollars.One of the workers appeared to be doing paperwork of some sort and was not very pleasant. The other gentleman who assisted me was pleasant.Overall, due to their mask policies which hinder my ability to enjoy spending my money there, I give them 1 star. Their unwillingness to accommodate their customers and comply with the state governor’s recommendation is unfortunate.
This is an ideal example of a company with overpriced mediocre products but a great marketing team. They look rather cheap and trashy to me.Take my advice and look at Globe Trotter Of London. They are actually handmade in a very old small factory in England, where Rimowa are made in a very large factory on a production line.
Salesperson friendly but could barely speak English. The price tag on these bags is so high, I was afraid they would be stolen just for the bag.
I worked with Nick at North Park. He was patient, answered all my questions and was a pro. I will be back and will refer friends and family.
I purchased my fancy pants Rimowa from here. Love it a lot. The service at the store was great. I drove a 2 door sports convertible at the time I purchased my bag. The salesman was amazing and carried it my car to make sure it would fit in the boot before I made my purchase. Since then my bag has required service on the handle and it was completed while I waited. I use my bag at least 4 days of every week and it travels packed heavily and is shown no love on the road but it lasts like a tank. My only complaint is more of an issue north parks itself and their horrible parking situation. That is why I could not give this store a 5 star rating. If they were to relocate to a less snooty more customer friendly shopping center it would be 5 stars all day long.
Ive purchased several pieces from this store and have never once been disappointed. Their quality is amazing, but even more importantly, their staff (especially Jose) & customer service is stellar! They are always willing to go out of their way to be as kind and helpful as possible. I will continue to purchase my luggage here and would recommend anyone else to do the same!
Great service ... very detailed explanations of each piece of luggage. Ending up getting the larger of the two and glad I listened to the sales rep. She said I would need the room and sure enough I did. Thanks April for your Professionalism and your patience.
The lock of our Rimowa was broken and they repaired it immediately. We then left the suitcase in the store to walk around the mall. When we came to pick it up, they had cleaned and polished the suitcase!Great service, thank you!
