12 year old Copeland Scroll compressor failed on existing R-22 Heat Pump. Wanted to go ahead and upgrade to a new Carrier unit with current refrigerant. Dalton Heating & Air came out and gave me an estimate on a new Heat Pump, along with Evaporator & lines installed in my existing dual fuel attic unit. They beat the other estimate I got on the exact same components by a lot, and have a year longer warranty on labor! Super nice guys. Installers were professional and fast. I would definitely recommend these guys based on my experience.9/18 Need to add to my review. My wife noticed a gouge in the sheetrock in our hallway close to our pull down attic ladder. The gouge was not there before the A/C install, so I am assuming either the large drip pan or new evaporator hit the wall when it was being carried up by one of the installers. I understand accidents happen, and have had a few in my lifetime, but what disappoints me is Im sure they knew when the wall was damaged, and no one showed me the courtesy or respect to tell me it happened. I have the ability to repair spots like this in sheetrock, and I would have told them I understand slips happen when climbing a ladder and not to worry I can fix it. My response is still the same, but I believe I deserved to be told instead of my wife having to notice it. The installers were very nice and even gave me a new roll of mastic tape because I told them I wanted to retape spots on the A/C unit in areas they were not working on and I only had standard aluminum tape. Now I wonder if the free roll of tape was to make up for the gouge in my wall. Im not looking for anything more. Other than the gouge, the install was good and the price was very good. Unit is working great. Because of the gouge I had to drop the rating to 4 stars.

Never have had to deal with Heating system before - it was like buying a car - had to like and trust person you were dealing with - because you dont have experience in this. This was a great experience for me - all the way from the quote process to the installation. Very knowledgeable and nice group of people. Got here early and finished quickly. Christian came out and repaired my heating system. He did a great job and called before the appointment to let me know he was on the way. The repair was fast and cost less that what I expected. He had to order a part, but was able to get my heat going temporarily and came right back out the next day to complete the repair. I have used DH&A before and would recommend them to anyone that is having trouble with their HVAC systems.

This is not the first time that I use Dalton heating & air. They always come through very professionally. They have real knowledgeable people under staff. Every time I use them they do exactly what they say theyre going to do. and they used top notch products. Very efficient units. I use them on my home and now how to use them on my commercial business.

I had to call them out to check my on my ac it suddenly stopped working. They stated that the ducts under the house were detached and needed to be replaced a week before Christmas I said ok they quoted me 5,150 and I waited for them to get back to me with a time they were available they never got back to me. They finally got back to me one morning called me telling me they were outside my house that they were there ready to do do the work and said it looked like some one had already done it ( I did get some one else because they never got back to me and it was cold) and fast forward to 01/18/2021 as I was checking my bank statement and I had a charge for $5,150 on 01/13/2021 for work that has never been done. I called the office and spoke to them and they stated they would reverse it and nothing yet as of 01/27/2021. It is very unprofessional of them to charge for work that has never been done and more to go out without having anything scheduled. I wouldnt reccomend them to me they are a 1/10

These guys are super thorough and work hard to get the job done right in a timely manner. After checking our situation, they came up with a plan and talked it out with us, and even provided three different quotes based on what we wanted.Then when it was installation day, the team showed up at 7 AM and got right to work. Quick response, friendly and great work!

Due to a scheduling mix up, I was inadvertently switched to Thursday versus the same day. The technician had been out the day before to do a basic reload of low freon. He had mentioned that if it went back out or re froze, to give him a call. I knew he would be the technician coming for the service call the next day, as he had called me the day before to let me know he was at my house, so when I noticed he was late, I texted his cell. He called me back and said that I was scheduled for Thursday, I told him this was incorrect and obviously something had got mixed up in the wash. The man got up off of his couch at 6:30 In the evening, and came over and cleaned my coil both inside and out, and then tuned the system for optimum performance. His words were Im going to make sure its running as good as it can before I leave. It is running like new now, blowing stronger now that the coil is clean, our house is cool, and he saved a customer for this company. Cant say enough about his professionalism and initiative. Superlative service from a technician with obvious initiative and integrity. Cantask for more than that, especially these days.

I cant thank the people at Dalton Heating and Air enough. I needed a new evaporator coil and it took me several weeks to work out a warranty issue with Trane. During this time, they were the only HVAC company that 1) provided me with a quote 2) were patient with me and understood my predicament with Trane and 3) kept in touch with me and promptly scheduled my service call once the warranty situation was resolved.The price was excellent and didnt break the bank. They also let me pay with a credit card. And best of all: my AC is now working GREAT!!!I only had one tiny comment which I shared with James: it would be a good idea for the repair person to wear a mask during the pandemic. Called them yesterday because the heat pump was not working. It was first thing in the morning and they said someone would be by that day, when the technician arrived within 10 minutes he had identified the issue to be the internal breakers for the emergency heat were off and after checking the unit out determined it was working fine and was out the door with only a very reasonable minimum service charge. Fast and honest service highly recommended and will use them again if needed.

A technician came to my house to give an estimate on a replacement even though his schedule/time was limited. I was in need of a repair/replacement of my unit immediately. My family and I have been without heat for more than a week; we needed to do something quickly. After the estimate, two technicians came to my house in Calhoun and replace the entire unit within a reasonable time. The price and terms to the agreement were reasonably priced and acceptable. I called they guys to come check on my ac unit. As i just bought the house. Found out it need to be replaced as it was a cheep unit. Dont ever buy good men. They not worth it anyways. Told them want i wanted they got me the next week which was today. They got here at 7 am and by 10 it was all done. They cleaned up everything and went over the different things like my unit is a 16 seer which has a positive air flow which means less problems helps keep coils clean and my drain has air going through so less likely to stop up. They even where talking to my little one. 22 months old and she had questions lol. Not the first time they have done work for my family.

I called Dalton Heating & Air for a price quote on replacing my old unit as I was having to add Freon reguarly. The came down and looked at my unit and square footage, as had enclosed garage. They said I needed larger unit, and larger return and give me a good estimate. They were on time and very polite. They installed the unit and did check of unit to see everything working properly. I also had a crew installing gutters the same day and had no problems. I have had my unit a year now and had no problem with heating or air conditioning. I would recommend them realty.

Our new HVAC system developed a problem and Dalton HVAC went above and beyond to fix the problem. Dalton Heating and Air requested a proper fix to the problem by Trane. However The Trane company was less than helpful in the beginning. We had so many service calls with Dalton we knew all of the crews well. James was on my contact list and unfortunately contacted regularly. After filing complaints to the BBB and State Consumer Protection Agency about the problem, Trane decided to replace the malfunctioning furnace. We are sure if Dalton had not went to bat for us this would still be an issue! We highly recommend Dalton for your HVAC needs!

I will never recomend this company because some of their workers don’t have any experience or they like to still people’s money by selling air conditioning sistems when the people don’t need them.I called Dalton heat and air in June or July because my air conditioning wasn’t cooling and they sent two guys to check it out but instead of fixing it they tryed to sell me a new air conditioning system Because they said my AC was to old,I called Liberty and they fix my AC . So if you need a good and honest company call Liberty have a lot of experience in AC systems.
