I just got out of the hospital and am staying with my aunt during recovery.It was labor day holiday weekend.She had room but not a bed for me.We were in a bind and needed a bed that day because I had to lie flat.My aunt did the shopping. She went to mattress firm because it was open. We were in contact by cellphone.I talked to the salesman on her cellphone.There was a lot of talk about options.The mattress was picked and aprice was agreed on.We were desperate and this seemed be our best option so my aunt took it.The bed slept well, but the quality feels cheap. Well see how it lasts.Store management was helpful. Store location was convenient.

We are repeat customers of this location. The shopping experience was pleasant & the salesman (Bobby) was helpful & informative in helping us to decide what to purchase. The major downfall is the delivery date, which is not the locations fault but the manufacturer. Hopefully the expected date will be shorter than anticipated.

The Mattress Firm team Shugart Road is fantastic! We had two visits in one day - first to get two mattresses and then a return visit to get a bed frame. James helped us choose the best mattresses for our needs and provided discounts that saved us nearly $250. Billy helped us with a bed frame. When the frame we wanted was not in stock, he sold us the premium model for the base price. Highly recommend this great team!

This wouldn’t allow me to leave a review earlier. However, my husband and I bought a mattress and adjustable bed frame with the understanding we could bring BOTH back after 120 days. We take the mattress back because the one they said that would be so comfortable was still hard as a rock after 2 1/2 months. We were then told we couldn’t bring back the adjustable bed frame which wasn’t cheap. So now we are stuck with a frame that we don’t need and can’t get our money back on. It was very bad communication on the stores fault. We ended up trading for another mattress but I will not ever do business with them again.

Came in not long ago! I got an amazing deal on my purchase! :) I have met sales men & women throughout my life & Billy from Mattress Firm from the one in Dalton is by far one of the best I’ve met! I highly recommend working with him when finding the right mattress, pillow, etc. Billy is Not really like most sales people! Billy is very helpful & is willing to work with your budget! Billy isn’t pushy & doesn’t try to trick you into buying something that isn’t very good. Billy takes your sleeping needs in to consideration to find the best mattress & pillow etc for you! We bought a mattress ..a very expensive mattress..with a 120 days guarantee. We were told as long as you used there expensive mattress cover you could return it within 120 days. The mattress was suppose to be a soft mattress. It was hard as a rock . When we called and told them we needed to return the mattress they said that was fine and they then put a 250.00 restocking fee on our bill. We ordered a new replacement mattress and felt reassured they would keep their promise. When they came to pick up the mattress..they denied it saying there was a pinpoint spot which was there when we got it. They lied to us about the 120 day guarantee plus they had added a restocking fee.

My boyfriend and I had a great experience with Bobby, the manager, and he was very helpful. But we did experience some issues with some of the other staff when getting our mattress. Some of those issues were not the fault of Mattress Firm and I understand that, but the communication could have been better with some of the staff. So heres our long story:The mattress we ordered (and paid for up front) was out of stock due to a shortage in the steel that makes the springs. We were alright with the delay but kept having to postpone our delivery date. Finally, the day before our 2nd or 3rd delivery postpone date, Bobby told us that it was still out of stock but he switched it with a similar mattress that we could try out. He told us we could return it w/in 2 weeks if we did not like it and get the one we originally ordered for no additional fees. After 2 weeks, we knew we did not like the mattress, so we contacted the store and another staff member told us it hadnt been 30 days yet so he couldnt help us. He didnt look up our case or even let me explain our situation. So 30 days later, we contacted them again. This time, a different staff member got everything together for us to get the original mattress but then told us we would have to pay the difference between the two mattresses (about $200-300) and the delivery fee. He said he did not see any record that we had purchased the original mattress and that it only showed we purchased the one we had delivered. We called multiple times and asked the staff when Bobby would be in the office and they kept telling us they didnt know. Finally, we returned to the store with our original receipts and paperwork showing we purchased the original mattress. We spoke w/ Bobby (who said he had been out of the office due to surgery) who took care of everything and sent us our originally requested mattress w/ no extra cost. The entire process took us about 3-4 months to finally receive our mattress, including endless phone calls and multiple trips to the store over that period of time. It was a very stressful situation for us.Basically, communication with the staff needs to be better and the other staff members need to be a bit more professional. Again, I know there were some circumstances beyond their control, but we were very patient and understanding about those situations. We did get the mattress we wanted in the end and are very grateful and pleased with it.

Great store with awesome staff. The prices are great and I received a nice discount making my purchase easy. James Kilpatrick was a big help and made us feel comfortable with our choice. I like the warranty and knowing the company will be around for a long time to provide service when needed. I will definitely purchase from them again.

After over a decade had past, I decided that it was time for me to invest in a new mattress. I started to do some online shopping and quickly got intimidated by all the options and prices I was seeing. Some more time past until I decided to walk into Matress Firm Dalton, and I couldnt be happier that I did! The sales representative that I spoke to was knowledgeable and truly genuine. He asked me a few questions about my sleep and continued to show me mattresses of all sorts. I never once felt any pressure to spend more than my budget. I am currently waiting for my matress and base to be delivered, but I can rest assured that if there are any problems with what I receive that their 120 day return policy will take care of anything. 10/10 would recommend a friend

I came into the Dalton store to switch out my new mattress that I bought at another location. The one I bought was too firm. I was within my 120 days. Bobby helped me and he was great! I was so nervous that it was going to be a hassle to return and buy a new mattress but it was a breeze! I am super happy with my experience.

I want to share with you what a wonderful experience we had at Mattress Firm on Shughart Road, Dalton, Georgia, on Saturday. My sister, who is in her 70s, had bought two full-size mattresse and box springs sets from them a few months ago and she and her husband, who has cancer, were not satisfied with the firmness of the mattresses. She asked me to go with her to the store to try to get an exchange. We are not confrontational people, but we prayed about it and especially prayed she’d get a compassionate sales person. We gathered up our courage and went to the store. The first person we saw was a young salesman named, Billy Simpson. He listened to my sisters complaint, looked up the sale, and immediately knew what he could do to help her. It turns out she was within just two days of the 120 night return policy. He gladly made the exchange and the new mattresses will be delivered Monday, barring any Covid related delay. He was courteous, efficient, and downright nice to us. We even told him he was the answer to our prayer and that he would be blessed for his kindness. He told us he had been having a not so great day and that we actually made his day. Thank you Mattress Firm for hiring such a nice young man. On a scale of 1 - 10, you hit it out of the park.

Horrible service. At first it started out as a good experience, but it was just to get a sale for Greg. It has been almost 3 weeks since we ordered our Adjustable Bed. It was suppose to be here May 21, 2020 so I called to check on it, and it was not even on a transfer. We did not even receive a phone call about the delay. Were told then it would be ready to pick up May 26, 2020. Called around 2:00, and Greg said that it wasnt there, and when I asked if he could call the warehouse and make sure it got on a truck. He refused. Greg said that I only had 2 options. To wait until he called me back, or get a refund. I told him that I needed to talk to my husband, but for him to call me back today. Well I am writing this at almost 9:00, and Greg did not call to tell us about our order. Greg does not know what customer service is, and he was rude and acted like he was better than me. This is horrible management and horrible business.

Bought my mattress about a year ago from Chuck and honestly he was the whole reason we went back this weekend to pick out one for my mom. Unfortunately we discovered Chuck had passed away and we were both upset to hear that. He was a great guy and I genuinely enjoyed my interaction with him.With that being said this time our sales person was Greg. I believe he mentioned he had transferred from their Fort-O location. He was very nice and listened to what my mom had to say and had an answer for every question she had. I hope they keep hiring more salespeople like him cause he will also be a reason I’ll be a return shopper to this store.

Absolutely amazing experience!!! I popped in this store a little before closing to ask about a mattress I had found online through mattress firms website. We ended up with much, much more than what I was going to get FOR THE SAME PRICE!!! Bobby, the sales manager worked with us on price and gave us a HUGE discount!!! Im still amazed and blessed!!! Also, Bobby is great with kids lol. He allowed our small ones to try out the adjustable base mattresses while we talked. This may not sound like much to you however, our boys were so pleased by the time we left that they asked to go back the next day to ride the mattresses lol!!!
