Kate and Gina did an excellent job fitting my guys for a formal wedding last weekend. My son is in school out of state and they were so accommodating. They fitted him way early, added his order to my husband’s and got them in on time. The suits were great. We could not have been more pleased!!

We attended the sample sale and during the booking it said not to expect the traditional bridal dress shopping experience since it was a sale. We had the last appointment of the day. It was the BEST experience. My fiancé and I are planning to get married in Moab Utah. The staff was so excited for me and suggested dresses that I hadn’t picked yet that would be better for the journey. They were so friendly and honest. I had so much fun and I found the perfect dress!! Thank you!! I will definitely recommend this shop to other future brides!

I would like to add a comment to my original review … the owner responded very fast was amazing with her response as she was unaware of how my son, daughter in law and groomsmen were treated! She could not of handled it in a more professional way, I would like to thank her for how she handled our situation !!!

I said Yes to my dream dress at Whimsy in White! This place is so beautiful, upon entering, it just feels magical and dreamy! I had a BLAST with my mom and best friend/ MOH trying on dresses and I felt like a princess and the star of the show! Gina was so friendly and helpful and I could sense her genuine excitement for me when I chose my dress. The staff was so fun and friendly. My MOH found her dress too, so I will be taking all of my 4 bridesmaids back to find their special dresses, too! I absolutely loved this place and it was exactly what every girl hopes for when you imagine that wedding dress shopping experience. (I scribblled out my dress since my wedding isnt until 10/2021, so Ive gotta keep it a secret till then lol)

The owner Gina was so helpful and Makayla was so kind. They stayed late and took their time. We were not being rushed or pressured to buy anything. They went above and beyond. Will definitely come back for bridesmaid dresses. Would highly recommend!

Gina has been so patient and kind so welcoming and loving she has the best customer service as far as dress shopping I could ask for. When I first went into her shop there was no pressure to buy at all just a fun loving and caring ladies just willing to help in any way they can. I would recommend Whimsy and white to anyone looking for a dress tux brides maids mothers dresses. Gina and her staff will surely help you in any way they can!! I cannot wait to go to my next appointment with them to pick out the bridesmaids dresses!

I will preface this review by saying I was only in the store for about five minutes so it should be taken with a grain of salt. I’m sure this is a fine bridal store but we did not have a great experience. My mother and I drove 45 minutes from the Chattanooga area for our appointment here. I was under the impression that we would be the only ones in the store and that basic safety precautions would be taken by the staff. However when we arrived there were several customers in the store and my mother and I were the only ones in masks. The salesperson who greeted us stood very close to us while not wearing a mask and told us to pick out what dresses we wanted to try on. She didn’t ask us what we were looking for or anything about details of the wedding. Instead she told us to clip some dresses ourselves and then went back to help other customers. After looking around and seeing that nobody in the store was wearing a mask, we left. The owner did reach out to apologize so that was nice but I was still not interested in shopping in a location where basic safety measures are not taken. I have only shopped in Hamilton county where there is a mandate so I did not think that would be an issue. At least for me, this is not a place where I will be looking for my gown.

This is such a cute shop with a knowledgeable shop owner! Its reasonably priced with great quality. She was kind enough to find a wedding veil online that I loved and ordered it for me!

The owner is wonderful. I went with my friend to pick out her dress and they don’t pressure you at all. She has a beautiful shop full of amazing dresses! Even has a tux shop! The owner is very personable and super easy to get a hold of weather on the phone, text, email or Facebook messenger! Defiantly worth the trip to her shop! Check her out!

Ladies...... This is the place to get that special dress. They have a huge selection of the most beautiful dresses and the ladies there are so friendly and helpful.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Gina is the most caring, patient, funny, and kind person I have ever dealt with in a store. The best customer service. She will work with you and not make you feel the least bit pressured to buy! It was so much fun. Thats how its supposed to be. ❤

Gina is super friendly. Makes you feel at home and does her best to fit every need. You won’t leave out of here without a new friend! Every bridal shop needs to take notes from her. Also, they are SUPER affordable especially for downtown!

Gina and Mia were so sweet and helpful!! We were the only customers in the store, and my friend and I were buying bridesmaid dresses. They found exactly what we wanted, and catered to our requests. They were so personable and made the experience special!!

Whimsy In White (Gina) planned my daughters baby shower to a T. It was close to perfect. I could not be happier with everything! The decorations were beautiful! Food was amazing! Our family had a great time! Thank you for making my daughters special day to celebrate her son so memorable!

I had a wonderful experience there today. I was able to explaon the tyoe of dress i wanted as well as my budget. I easnt pressured to buy a more expensive dress, or even at all. I had fun and really enjoyed my time there. They helped me find the PERFECT dress. Im so happy that I found the dress of my dreams there❤

All I can state is facts about the wedding I attended yesterday. I don’t know what happened during the planning stages. The positive thing was we all kind of came together and picked up the slack to make it a good experience for the bride and groom. The family said the wedding planner missed appointments with the bride and bridesmaids and showed up late to some. She Showed up late to the wedding and said it was because of traffic but yet we all got there on time and had to come the same route lol. She left the wedding about halfway through the event. She was rude to some off the attendees because they had questions about what was supposed to happen when... I guess that would be understandable if she would have been running everything smooth, but that wasn’t the case. The bridesmaids and husbands and other attendees jumped in to run the show because the wedding planner didn’t really have anything organized or planned at all from what I could see. I’ve been to my fair share of weddings and the wedding planner always runs the rehearsal, coordinates with vendors, goes to meetings about the wedding, runs the rehearsal and the wedding and gets there on time and stays for the whole event... I can’t say that I saw any of that happen. She did make a fuss about getting paid for the event after she said she was going to leave, and she made some comments about how she could be spending her time doing something with family instead of being at the wedding... which honestly in retrospect probably would have been better and less stressful for everyone. If you want a punctual, organized, and professional wedding planner this is not the place to go.

Wonderful beautiful store that more people need to know about. The people there are so welcoming and kind.

Update:In response to your comment on my review, you may not “have anything to do with weddings” now (good choice btw) but at the time of the review you did, as was stated on your website as well (which of course no longer does). I think it’s fairly irresponsible to reply nearly a year later and imply that I mistakingly made a review on your shop page. We both know that’s not the truth Gina. I have screenshots from the website stating your Wedding Planning services. Just because you no longer offer them does not negate the fact that nearly a year and a half later, when we mention Allisons wedding you are still the main topic. I hope your bridal shop is going well. As I stated, it’s beautiful.The only reason I gave 1 star instead of 0 is because the flower arrangements were gorgeous. The bridal shop itself is beautiful, wedding event planning/coordinating was a joke. There was a serious lack of communication, she was late to several appts with the bride, no showed a couple of them, hardly participated in the rehearsal, was late to the rehearsal, was told she would arrive at 3p for a 7pm wedding & and she got there at 445p. No communication with the bridesmaids even though the Maid of Honor was officiating the wedding. And to top it off, got an attitude with another bridesmaids after the ceremony over table placement (in which the bridesmaids & their spouses were helping to move because she had no other staff besides 1 girl who stood around the whole time) & proceeded to argue with her after the bridesmaid said ok & walked away. She came back telling her “you need to calm down, this is MY event & you need to let me do my job”. The MOH stayed she wasn’t doing her job very well and no one even knew what was going on, to which she replied “and why do YOU need to know what’s going on?” One would think the people IN the actual wedding would need to know what to do & where to go. She stomped off to the brides mother & came back a few minutes later stating “she would just leave” so we could enjoy our night. She proceeded to set up the tables & then left. The brides family and friends had to break down & clean up the reception. She had the nerve to tell the brides mother that she hasn’t been paid yet & she could be home with her family instead of here and would not be talked to that way or disrespected. Your whole job as a wedding or event planner is to make your client happy & keep it as stress free as possible, & she failed on every level. The lack of professionalism has left me floored, & it was the talk of the entire wedding. A day that was meant to be focused on the bride and groom ended up being focused on how unprofessional & obnoxious the wedding planner was. Such a disappointment.
