My husband and I are working on remodeling our home and went to FloorMax Direct in Dalton, GA. When we arrived we spoke to our sales agent Stan. We told him what look we were going for and the type of flooring we needed. He showed us a couple options. I fell in love with one of them and Stan gave us an AMAZING price for it. From beginning to end, the service at FloorMax was 5 star. We’ll be headed back in a couple weeks to get carpet for the remaining rooms. We started the remodeled on our house June 2013 and the flooring was one of the last things to go in. We looked around and were referred by a friend to floor max in Dalton Georgia. After checking many places we felt floor max had the best flooring at the best prices. Our sales guy was sincere and cared about helping us find the right floor for our needs. We found a traditional wide plank oak floor that saved us close to $1800. Were happy and would recommend them to others. Thanks!

I got behind the curve in my home remodeling when a local flooring supplier completely dropped the ball and put me a week behind. Lauren stepped in and saved the day. She really listened to my vision and feel for flooring and sent several photos of products that she felt would be a fit for my needs. She was right! The only catch was the product I chose was brand new to the market and had to be drop-shipped from Houston. Again another delay? Thankfully NO. Lauren micro-managed the shipping and made sure it was expedited. I received 1049 Square Feet of 3/4 x 7.5 flooring in two days! The reason for my time crunch was that my wife was on a cruise with her mom and I wanted to have the floor installed upon her return. My wife was thrilled with the floor and over-uses the word beautiful and perfect a lot. The only way I came out the hero was with the help of Lauren and Floor Max Direct.

We had a fantastic experience with Floor Max!! Best customer service we have ever received. There was an issue, through no fault of their own, and they went above and beyond to correct it immediately! The owner even came out and did a house call himself! You just dont get customer service like that nowadays! We have bought flooring from them several times and will continue to use them and recommend them to everyone in the future!

Lauren could not have been better to work with, and the process was very simple. After receiving numerous samples, we finally picked a nice hard hickory; but I had to go price shopping. I found FloorMax to be about half the price of all my local stores. Such a great deal.

We remodeled our house and added hardwood and replaced carpet in February 2014. FloorMax was where we purchased all of our materials and we also used their installers as well. I originally visited Floor Max the summer of 2013 at the recommendation of several clients who live/work in the Dalton Area. I wanted to start looking for wood floors for our home even though I was not ready to buy at that time. It was a field trip to see what was out there. Upon arriving, I was immediately greeted by my consultant who gave me a tour of their product offering based on my requirements -- NOT OAK; solid hardwood; pre-stained; handscraped and wide planks. During that visit, he was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions openly and directly. I left and received monthly follow-up calls from my consultant for another 6 months or so. Upon my return in December 2013, now ready to buy, we purchased 3000+ SF of product after receiving additional help and choosing something different from what I saw that previous summer. At the time of purchased we were not ready to receive the product so Floor Max kindly stored (at no charge) till we were ready to receive it in February 2014. Now installed the product is beautiful and has made such a difference to our home. My only regret is we did not install wood floors in our daughters room; guest bedroom and the playroom. But, well be back to get more wood to complete those other areas. If you are looking for wood floors or flooring product, Im confident youll find what you need at FloorMax. Hello floormax, were your biggest fans! We have made three purchases from floormax over the past two years and each time has been a pleasure. We have always been pleased with our flooring whether bamboo, walnut hardwood, carpet and tile. Good people and really good prices. I would even recommend them to my sister-in-law. :)

Buyer beware....inept customer service and fraudulent warranties.....dont believe it if it say as 20 year warranty on the package... if it fails after 10 years might as well get a new floor....they wont replace it free of charge

All the research says if you are going with Cabin Grade wood flooring you should purchase 15 - 20% extra for spoilage. If you purchase Cabin Grade from FloorMax you need to count on 30 - 40% spoilage. We purchased our flooring over a year ago with the understanding that we were building a new house and could not guarantee when we would be ready. When the first flooring came in it was not the color we had selected so we refused it. We took a sample box of another flooring home to see if it would match our decor...in the full box there was maybe 2 pieces that would not be suitable for installation. We went with this new flooring...big mistake. When we started opening boxes for installation, there was not a single box with less that 25 - 30% spoilage. FloorMaxs repsonse....looks like Cabin grade, pull from more boxes. I have had 4 professionals look at the flooring and all four (totaling more that 100 years of experience) say it is the worst flooring they have ever seen. It is NOT even close to Cabin Grade, more like scrap. Dont get me started on the number of boards we found that had dead bees (yes BUGS) in them. At this point, we are stuck with the flooring and will have to make do....but take it from me YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH FLOORMAX!
