The staff at Pearle are such a pleasure to work with, I’ve been knowing Sylvia for close to 20 years

The staff was very helpful and friendly with helping me decide which glasses to choose!

I have been purchasing contact lenses and glasses from this Pearle Vision for many years. The staff is friendly and well trained and Dr. Malerbi is not only also friendly, but has state of the art knowledge and optometry equipment. They have a tremendous variety of frames from which to choose and also provide trial contacts to test out a prescription to make sure it is right before purchasing. They are located in a free standing building on Walnut Avenue providing the customer the best of environments for a relaxed and extremely positive overall experience.

Took time off work to go to my scheduled appointment, and they refused to honor the appointment. Told me its not really an appointment its just a reminder that I need to get a vision exam... Clearly says your scheduled appointment. They should compensate me for the time of work I missed.

I had an appointment at Pearls Vision with Dr. Nick Malerbi in Dalton, GA on Friday, May 14th at 10:00. He mistakenly diagnosed me with birdshot retinopathy. When I did research on the rare eye disease that causes blindness I was worried sick & very upset that I was going to lose my eyesight. I made an appointment with Dr. Brian Kim, an ophthalmologist at Professional Eye Associates. It took 3 weeks to get in to see him. So for 3 weeks I worried & cried. Then I went to my appointment with Dr. Kim. They did some tests. Come to find out I didnt even have birdshot like Dr. Malerbi had told me. He is an optometrist not an ophthalmologist. Therefore, he was not qualified to make such a diagnosis. He shouldnt have told me that I had birdshot when he didnt know what he was talking about. He should have just said, I see some spots on the back of your eyes, I recommend you that you see an ophthalmologist & find out whats going on. From now on I will see the professionals at Professional Eye Care. Dr. Kim is great! I was so relieved to find out that I did not have birdshot.In response to Pearls Visions reply: You have all of my information in my file from my appointment.

Great Dr. And wonderful help with getting the right glasses.

We came in for our daughters appointment on March 10th and got a prescription only to find out it was wrong. Had to come in two days later and get another. Ordered contacts and glasses for my daughter then. Prepaid almost $700 with insurance for the contacts and was told to pay for glasses when they come in in about 4 weeks. They had to be ordered from manufacturer because someone had bought the frame that we picked out two days before. Was quoted a price of $128.00 with insurance for the glasses on the 10th and it was written down on a paper that was given to us. It was put into the computer on the 12th as well when they were ordered. Had to call and find out if the contacts were in because I was never given a call. I am getting the runaround on the glasses now. First, I was being quoted a price of $458.00 for them. I told her we ordered a years worth of contacts and with Insurance the cost would be $193.00 instead of the $128.00 we were quoted and was supposed to be put in the computer at the time. I just want my daughters glasses with the price we were told in the first place! Now they are trying to charge an extra $65 for the same reflective lenses we ordered before.

Staff are all super nice and are patient with explaining any question I had. Definitely keeping them as my primary source for vision care.

Always excellent service and they accept most insurances. This is a quality staff and the optometrist that took care of me is extremely professional and very friendly. I highly recommend this location and this group of individuals for your eye care needs.

This was the best experience i have ever had visiting an optometrists office. Dr. Malerbi and his staff were prompt, kind, and patient. This was the first time an optometrist actually showed me imaging of my eyes and explained every step of the exam. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for an eye doctor.

I got glasses at here and loved them. The eye doctor is super nice and took the time to explain things to me. The opticians helped me pick a Polo Ralph Lauren frame and a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses. I have always loved Pearle Vision. As soon as I had insurance they accepted I started going here again for my annual exams. They are always very detailed with the exam and explain everything to you and make sure you understand everything. I also like the fact that my glasses are ready within a couple of days. Always a good experience.

I had been going to this location for years and have had a good experience until this last time. The doctor was fine but when I went to get the glasses, things when down hill, they call me at home to say they under charged me and needed more money so I paid it, so when I came for my glasses they were wrong so they say they didn’t charge me for transition lenses so I bring them back on a Wednesday said they would call to tell me the amount for lenses didn’t hear from them so Friday I call they were just sitting in his desk they didn’t even start the process .they said they were sorry, and I said I’ll be going to LensCrafters.

I just had an eye appointment there today and everyone there was so helpful, efficient, and friendly- exactly what I hope for when dealing with any business! I ordered a new pair of glasses, and I was even able to pick them up that afternoon. I could not recommend Pearl Vision enough.

Worked really hard to make my glasses work for me, had to remake my lenses because the new type doesnt work for me, also worked with my insurance to exchange the frames I wasnt happy with. they fixed my old frames for free. The staff worked above and beyond to satisfy me! Thank you all at pearl vision!! 😊👌😊

After not having my eyes examined for over a year, I figured it was time to get it done. I chose Pearle Vision in Dalton after several great references. Dr. Malerbi examed my eyes quickly, efficiently, and very courteously. He finally got me my correct prescription without any hassle. (I have had a lot of bad experiences with Target Optical).Ryan helped me pick out the perfect pair of frames. He saw the shape of my face and asked my favorite style of glasses and had me try on maybe 6 pairs. After narrowing it down to 2, I finally went with the cutest pair of Kate Spade glasses. It was so refreshing to not have to be overwhelmed by the hundreds of frames trying on dozens to see what I liked.After only waiting FOUR days (way shorter than expected) I picked them up and later had Ryan adjust them. He got me the perfect fit in only minutes.I would strongly recommend this Pearle Vision to anyone in the Northwest Georgia Area.

Very disappointed... Staff assured us that the order would be completed within a week. Week is up and now they have changed the story to 10 business days.

There was no notification online that the store is closed on July 3rd.I really would have appreciate that information before I made the 25 miles drive.

I have gotten my contacts and glasses at this Dalton Pearle Vision for the past 3 years, and I have had zero problems. They are all courteous, and Dr. Malerbi is very good at his job. Like another reviewer said, I was a little surprised by the massive number of frames from which to choose. But I am cheap, and my insurance only allows like $125 for frames, so I always end up with the lower-priced ones. But even their lower-priced frames are still high-quality and have stood up well to regular use.I brought my 8-year-old daughter to Pearle Vision too, and unlike the last place we went, Dr. Malerbi properly diagnosed her near-sightedness instead of just selling us overpriced reading glasses that she didnt need.My family plans to keep going here for eyeglasses and contacts, and we recommend this Pearle Vision to others.

No doctor to do eye exams. Had to call three times just to get a human on the phone.

I went for the first time a year ago. The doctor was somewhat rude. No one enjoys the puff of air test, so unintentionally i started to bat my eyes and he was just like oh come on and etc. The staff didnt help at all with selecting a pair of frames. Before I left I asked one of the staff workers to tighten my current glasses. She cracked my frames and gave them back to me without acknowledging her mistake, apologizing or coming up with a solution for her problem. I had to let her know that I knew she cracked my frame and she finally said well I can take off $15 your new frame. Never going back there.

I attempted to make an eye exam appointment by phone. The man that answered the phone complained about being one of only two people answering the phone at the time, then he hung the phone up on me..........

Paid over $500 for glasses the vision is wrong in the right eye I have to make another appointment to see the Dr hes only available during work hours
