I love me some Harbor Freight! For a nonprofessional timkerer like me, they have an incredible variety of tools & other home & auto fix it up stuff! This was a nice clean store with equally clean bathrooms - important if you have to travel 1 1/2 hours to get to the closest Harbor Freight.My visit was no different than most visits. Wandering aimlessly trying to figure out where the stuff on my list is located. As usual I find about 2/3 of what I came for, grab two items I didnt think I needed, never could find anyone to ask where the other list items were & decided to just buy the other stuff online. Too bad the store lost out on revenue for 1/3 of what I would have spent if I could have gotten a little help.This isnt a man at just this store, its the same experience I have at every store Ive shopped at. Thank goodness for online shopping!!

Its great BUT more than half the customers dont wear a mask and NONE of the employees had own masks! It needs to be closed until they abide by the rule and wear a mask! They need to put up a sign that says NO MASK, NO SERVICE, NO EXCEPTIONS thats what its going to take to force IDIOTS to wear a mask!

Love harbor freight. My one complaint is that i dont have enough money to buy more tools. In my experience the mens bathroom has been clean at this store and the associates are never rude. The deals are great and its fun for me to go even though it hurts my wallet sometimes and i get carried away.

So glad they built this one, its convenient, friendly and has a quick checkout with a smile, also people are actually helpful

I shop this store frequently, everyone is very kind. I have became familiar with most of the workers. That being said something needs to be done about there female store manager Dee. I have been in the store several times and can smell alcohol on her. As I said I shop at the dalton location frequently and it is not every time but it has been multiple occasions. I waited in the check out line for over 20 minutes, instead of helping she was yelling across the store inappropriately drunk like. This is unacceptable. I will not be going back to the Dalton location

I called in advance for a specific item so I didn’t have to go clear across town for nothing you’d think ppl selling tools would have some form of product relation or be knowledgeable but nope there was one poor girl running the register and trying to help me while another arrogant young lady walked around like she owned the place and just if it’s not there then we don’t have it I said well your website says you have it 5 different items were in the adds and not at the store won’t go back it was a nightmare even the level of customer service except for the cashier was terrible

My first visit to Harbor Freight and Im hooked. They have every kind of tool gadget you can think of. And so many things were so inexpensive.Ill admit I have never bought tools for anything. Im not a mechanical person. But if I needed something my uncles or brother is bound to have it. Now I can get it myself.

Always a joy. They have so many tools and such that I want our need. The prices are so low that it is hard not to buy them all. I thoroughly enjoy this store.

Did not have the tool I needed

Went to get some ICON tools.. had a few things out of stock but customer service was helpful to go check the back. Picked up a few extra things at a good price.

Definitely had lots of items to choose from, not very crowded though. Prices are reasonable. Too bad most everythings made in China.

Some good quality tools that should last. Also some you have to examine to see how much use you think youll get out of them.

Have a good selection of tools, but youll notice that they have some quality tools and then some really cheap ones. Just get yourself the ones with better quality. The price for them are incredible.

7:45 p.m. and the doors were locked. Wouldnt open the doors for me to shop. Theyre supposed to close at 8:00 p.m. . Kind of stinks since I was planning on using a coupon that expired today.

Its mostly geared towards a mens shopping preferences unless youve one of those cool chicks who likes tools. Me, not so much but Ill go to the store with my son sometimes.

Currently, like most places, some things are out of stock but they are getting regular delivery every week. They are doing the best they can to stock shelves, but I am off four days after they get deliveries. May have to order online and ship to house.

This store is my favorite store to go to in general but I would choose harbor freight over any other tool store in general because of the quality of tools for the lowest price. They have coupons for free things, coupons for extra 20-25% off select items, and most hand tools are lifetime warranty. I took back a torque wrench today without a receipt, and was still able to exchange it, no problems, and given a receipt for the new torque wrench. I would recommend to anyone and it deserves 12 out of 5 stars. Love this store.

3-21-2019 Got what we were looking for. Friendly staff, very helpful. The checkout girl was very sweet. 3-30-2019 went in to get a few things, got all that I needed except for my free flashlight and they were sold out. However the cashier remembered us from a former visit and was just as sweet as ever. Sure do love having a Harbor Freight in Dalton. Dont have to drive to Chattanooga to get tools now. Really saves on gas cause we went alot.

Stood in line for over 20 minutes while the supervisor Dee just walked around. When my husband asked the cashier why she couldn’t open a register she said oh she has the be on the floor, then Dee opened a register! There were more than 6 customers in line it happened From 11:50 am to 12:20pm if would like to watch cameras this is ridiculous especially when one of the people in line is on a cane.

Great place for tools including some that you wont find in your local stores, but you need to understand that some items are not of the best quality. They do have a great return policy and are starting to offer more expensive tool options that are more durable.
