I give them a 3 star rating because even though this guy named George doesnt wear a mask properly (Ive been here several times and he does not wear his mask properly 80 percent of the time) theyre actually pretty good. Theyve done great work on 2 of my vehicles. Sometimes they can pay attention to detail a lot better (On multiple occasions Ive asked them to check stuff out (like my tire pressure and sensor issue) and they say they will but they dont and act confused when I bring it to their attention and end up not checking what you asked them to check. The customer service is good but George needs to get it together and wear his mask! Lol
I made an appointment for oil change at 11am and they still hadn’t started working until 12pm. I had to go somewhere and thought it would be quick but they took ages. Not the best place if you want to get it done in time. The pricing is okay though.
These guys took me in on a Sunday, late afternoon -- 5 or so, days end. My tire blew out and had to call every tire shop around. No one would take me... But these guys were so kind and made the time! Ive had two cars since then...and I always take them here for basic oil changes and maintenance!
They lost one of my lug nut (lock) and gave me the runaround when i asked Milton (the store manager at Daly City) about it. He said the mechanic “Pablo” left a few minutes after I arrived and to call the next day. Called him the day after, another guy took the call and told me they’ll call me back and let me know if the store manager will replace it. They did not call, surprise. Came by the next day and store manager was off, the guy said he can’t do anything about it because he’s just filling in. What a waste of time and won’t be coming back here EVER! 8/2/21 is when i took the car there for alignment and wheel rotation.9/10/21: What a generic way to respond Midas! You have my information on your database so why not contact me directly if youre sincere with mitigating the issue??!

I truly appreciated the professionalism that I received from Eddie! {Shop Manager} As soon as we entered the shop, Eddie was very attentive and informative, with what we needed for our vehicle.Once he explained the entire procedure, we knew we were getting the quality we expected! After receiving our vehicle, we felt we underpaid for the services! LoL! My Wifes auto seems to be running BETTER now, than before we brought in the Auto!Id just like to thank EDDIE & MIDAS for the great service!!

We called last minute in the morning to see if we can get an oil change and the guy who answered was friendly, mentioned their $18.99 promotion. We walked in and they were great at practicing Social distancing. Guy who helped us was friendly and explained everything even suggested a better oil for our type of vehicle which we went with. Spent over $60. A plus+ for places to sit and restroom for customers which was clean.
I would highly discourage and not recommend going to this Daly City Midas. The last two times Id brought my car in for an oil change, there would be a new issue brought on by or related to the oil filter. I recently discovered there was an oil leak due to a loose oil filter housing, brought on by poor/incompetent service from this Midas location. Just read additional reviews on Yelp and Google for more testimonies on this location.
They put the wrong tire in my car. They did not want to solve the problem. Total lack of respect. The clerk ordered the wrong tire, put it in my car. They treated me with disrespect and did not resolve their mistake. Poorly trained, poorly educated and poorly trained employee.They laughed at my face when I told them to remove the wrong tire and return my money. Lousy shop! The consumer is not respected.Poor service, poorly prepared and disqualified employee. My tires are UHP and the employee put HTS. Now I have 3 UHP tires and 1 HTS tire for lack of length and preparation of the MIDAS team. They did nothing to solve the problem caused by the employee who made the wrong tire order. I felt discriminated against for being an immigrant. That is why today I sought a lawyer, I have a photo and video of the employee treating me with contempt and irony. A company can not treat a customer that way.
Ive been going to this location for quite a few years. Today was the last time I will go to this shop. I went for a oil change, 3 hours later I finally get to leave. You need this, You need that. What happened to Ronnie and Cody. Those guys were honest, didnt nickel and dime you. During this pandemic period of time, they need to practice better social distancing. Wearing masks and covering your nose. One guy barely wore his. They do not sanitize the waiting room either. So if you test positive for covid you probably got it at this place. I spent a lot of money over the years here. I will take my business elsewhere.
I dont know what happened to the nice people that worked here. But these new ones are not it. Ive been going here for 2 years now since its super close to my house,and they were actually really nice. Today I came in, and they dont even acknowledge you. I dont know who this guy that speaks some type of Russian, but youre rude bro. You just lost a customer. Change your attitude.
Payed the bill the clerk forgot to hand my car keys.I walk all the way to my vehicle and realized my car was locked and walked back to the office and right right at the door the clerk came out with my keys . My thoughts is lack of of communication between the front desk clerk to the mechanics or tech .
I have the worst experience with these people, my story started on March last year that i need new tires but not much stores was open and my bad luck guided me to these people, so i bout 4 new tires and denied what they call it extended warranty which is warranty after year or so something seems not necessary for me specially that i am not so happy with the kind I bought even if they said it good, but i got the first year warranty, then around the 2021 i had screw in the tire but missed it up badly and the guy said i can’t put new one because it’s Wednesday and we have short staff, (even if it’s not my problem but understandable) he fixed it to me temporary till i make appointment and change then i came today with appointment at 12:00 they came to welcome me and that guy was so nice and tried to help and he told me the tires was bad ;and hour later they saying that the warranty is just on one of the tires only and when i asked to change it, Eddie says he have to do inspection on it, he was so aggressive, bad attitude treating me like he’s making me a favor just to talk to me, then after all that he’s saying that i am not covered by warranty and have to purchase new one, don’t get near them have nothing true to say.
The 5 stars are for Brian! My tires were well past due to be changed but quarantine pushed it back about 6 months. I called for a quote on a specific set and got someone else on the phone. He put me on hold and then told me he would call me back. He never called back and a few days later I blew a tire! I called again and got Brian. He told me he could get the job done that day and to come down. Three hours, a tow truck, and $200 later we got to Midas and Brian got his team right to work even though we showed up two hours late! He saved the day and was so kind! Also, their next door to Fil-Am so win-win!

Great people there, I was there to get my oil changed. Arrived at my 9am appt. but not ready to leave until after 11:30 am. So it took awhile, they were quite busy. I think it took longer for us because we had a coupon....at least 6 other people came and went while we waited......

Got an oil change on my 2009 Ford f150 paid for extra 2 quarters oil, leaving the next morning for cross country road trip decided to check the oil when I was in Texas,,,,,, I couldnt believe it the dip stick was bone dry I had to put 3 quarts of oil in truck. This place sucks
Brought my car here for an oil change... coolant hose fell off (literally, fell off) the day after. Coincidence? At least they smiled and were nice when servicing my car. I took my car to a local mechanic in the avenues and he does outstanding work, the drive is worth his professionalism. Find a local mechanic and stay away from franchise mechanics at all cost- because thats what it will cost you- as much as they can get.
This Midas is cool. Front people Ronnie and the guy that rings you up are friendly and kind. I came in for an oil change. Theyre having a promo so its $20. I waited less than an hour but I dont know if its always like that. I brought my baby in and when she cried no one gave me looks or anything. Theyre friendly and place is clean. There is also coffee and not trying to sell me other services is a plus. Theyre not pushy. Will come again here.
I am pretty sure most of the positive reviews are the owners friends and family or are fake. If you take a second to do the math 8 out of the 17 (almost 50%) reviews are Google Users, which means anonymous. Not surprisingly all of these Google Users gave the business a 5 star rating.The service was amazingly bad. The owner said it would take 30 minutes for an alignment. It ended up taking 2 hours and there was only one person getting an oil change ahead of me. On top of that, the mechanic took my car for a test drive without asking me. And he left an oil stain on my front seat which I noticed later on in the day. Not to mention it cost $100 for a simple alignment. Would not return for free service here.Also, they said my car had several problem which I know for a fact is fake because I had an oil change with full inspection two week before this alignment and NOTHING was wrong with my car.If you drive 30 miles north or south you will find better service and prices.
Took them 15min to even notice I was standing in front waiting to be assisted. I had an appointment with them at 9am and my car wasnt serviced until 10am. I saw 2 potential customers walk out because they havent been helped. The customer service team in the waiting room area are lacking communication skills and I dont understand how this is acceptable. If I could give this place a zero star I would gladly do so, unfortunately I will have to give them 1 star.

Came here for a oil change and tire rotation. The guys in front were friendly and great until I pointed out that my tires were not rotated. I mean they took my car in the 1st bay by the waiting area. I watched the guy change my oil but tires never came off the car. Not sure if it was just a late afternoon thing or what but they ended up rotating my tires after I mentioned it to the front guys. Of course they denied it but come on I watched the guy in bay 1... Now Im worried if they actually gave me synthetic oil or just regular. Highly suggest you mark your tires so you can verify that tires are rotated here. Total time took close to 2 hours!

I went into Midas in need of tires,rotation and alignment. I walked in without scheduling ahead. Service was great and efficient.
Came here for tire rotation and coolant flush and was fine at that . the service guy then tells me my tires which were new are cupping due to my shocks and struts going bad which were changed not to long ago. I also just had my car service a week ago at the dealership and said they were all fine. So my problem is why do these company try and rip customers off by trying to upsell something we dont need. Id rather just take it in the dealership and pay a little more than to get ripped off for something I dont need.
Do NOT go here. No matter who you get they dont listen. Went back a second time and was handed off between three people for a reserved oil change that took two hours. They didnt check the squeaky brakes they had put on that were squeaky off their lot, or even catch a burnt out turn signal. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Although I have to say the guy was nice he kind of gave me the shaft on a brake job. Called for a quote for new brakes, between $170-350, depending if the rotors need to be re-shaven. Once the work was completed he tried to charge me $500 . I added an oil change but only ended up doing the back brakes... We settled at $400. My brother works in auto body and told me he way over charged. So hard to find a good mechanic. The brakes work well.

Convenient in the fact they are open on Sundays, but frustrating in that the the employees are obviously pressured to upsell. I came in to get two new tires installed, clearly stating that I wanted them in the front. 30 min later I am brought out to my car, with all four wheels removed, so the technician could recommend all the additional work I needed to have done. Stop wasting my time, telling me things I already know, just so you can try and squeeze me for more money. They had my car on the lift for over an hour and a half just to change the oil and replace two tires. Will only be returning as a last resort.

I am amazed that these people stay in business at all. I called to make an appointment and they put me on hold. After 30 minutes (yes, seriously, 30 minutes) I hung up the phone.For some reason, I persisted and drove down there the next day to try and get the work done without an appointment. After waiting my turn in line, they told me that I could get an oil change, but the guy who does exhaust system work isnt in today. Can you bring it back tomorrow?No, Ill find someone else.

Customer Beware, this place is a scammers paradise, sold my 75 year old father a service tat WAS DEFIANTLY NOT NEEDED AND A RIPP-OFF PRICE. So for a washable air filter that was washed 4 days prior to the oil change, they told my father his washable K&N style air filter needed cleaning and the cost was $40 elfin dollars, HEY MIDAS a new K&N cost 53.00 and thats with tax, you guys are a bunch of used car salesman!!! That filter was just washed and treated 3 days before and unless my dad was driving his car in the Baja 1000, it was not needed especially at $40 dollars!!!! Im surprised you dunces didnt try and sell him MUFFLER BEARINGS. FYI a hand written letter will be sent to MIDAS corp office, the B.B.B. and A.S.E......You guys have a problem with what I said then contact me. Ive been around cars before you dirtbags were even born...

No stars, the service writer Doug is a douchebag. Took an hour for an oil change, tried to sell me tires I didnt need, would not rotate my tires, and was very unpleasant to his employees.
Went for Lyft inspection. Was told car needs tires replaced for $730 before they can pass my car for inspection. Went to jiffy lube was passed in less than 30 minutes.
The people that work there are very nice.

Do not go here. Ever. My car has never really given me many issues: older reliable Honda, standard oil change and rotation every 2000-3000 miles... I received an offer to come in to get an oil change for $20, left paying about $80 which was okay with me, up sell is whatever for oil for high mileage and better quality. I left and was happy with the service and what not. So two days later Im driving down 19th ave near SFSU and my whole car starts bursting smoke and I was redlining my car and my transmission was not shifting. I discovered that the transmission fluid had burst out through the bottom of my car. So that night, I had it towed to the shop under the impression maybe a mistake was made.I stopped in when they opened, explained the situation, and the woman working here off the bat was extremely defensive and starting talking about how theres no legal way to prove their shop did something to my car so I shouldnt imply it... I wasnt even doing so... I was really nice and let them inspect it and paid about $350 to have the coolant tube? or whatever hose connects to the transmission replaced and the clamps that had apparently broken off and allowed the hose to pop off fixed. I made no demand to discount the repair or give me a deal. The reps here were unpleasant about it from beginning to end, and honestly I just wanted my car fixed because I work and go to school.So I dont know if the hose breaking off either had anything to do with the mechanic who helped me two days prior or not, but I will say: Ive had my car for over ten years and never had such a bad bit of damage happen to it. Strange it would 2 days after a routine fix at a new shop. I wouldnt have even been under such a suspicion if I wasnt lambasted the morning I showed up for help.For now on, Ill stick to mom & pop and make sure not to use Midas.

They told me two of my back tires are all cracking and unsafe to drive during my oil change with free inspection; they give a quote for the tires but i didnt buy it since i want to shop around. i go back there after half day of shopping, nobody can beat their price and services. only down side is the wait time is little bit too long.
