I brought my car in to have the brakes checked. Ray informed me the rotors were warped and noticed in his records they had replaced the rotors not that long ago. Ray told me the parts were under warranty and he replaced them at no charge. Although the parts were under warranty, I thought I would have to pay for the labor to replace them. Ray stood behind his work and there was no charge. In these crazy times, it is really nice to work with people that have integrity. Thank you, Ray!

Great experience. I usually hate walking into an auto repair shop. They make it very painless. Its close to my house and I can walk home. They called me when it was ready, which was very quick.

I brought my Mazda Miata here to request a cleaning of my Intake Manifold and EGR valve. Ray quoted me $504 for these two parts to be cleaned. I felt that it was pretty expensive but proceeded anyway because my check engine light was reading p0401 (EGR flow insufficient) They held my car for only about 3 hours. I was pleased with the quick turnover time but soon after I learned that part of the work I was charged for was NEVER even done. On arrival, the same check engine light illuminated within 1 minute of starting the car in their parking lot. Ray cleared the code with his computer and said to call him and schedule a new diagnostic check if the light comes back on. Sure enough the next day, the same check engine light came on again... I learned how to unbolt the EGR valve myself that day following some youtube videos, and it was then revealed to me that Ray NEVER EVEN UNBOLTED THE EGR valve, Nor did he clean it. (He did clean the intake manifold and provided pictures of that, but there was no evidence on his end of ever even unbolting or cleaning the EGR - which i was charged for) The pictures ive attached showing the completely CARBON CAKED egr valve will speak for themselves. Of course I did not trust Ray and Performance Haus to be honest with a second followup so I did not care to call back. AVOID THIS DISHONEST SHOP AND TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE - THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

We always get out cars smog checks here. Ray is great and runs on time. You can make an appointment and wait for your car which is great.

Excellent service and even better people

I recently took my jeep in because it wasnt starting and new it was a battery issue. I also ask if they could please do an oil change and check the loud pop noise when making a sharp left turn as well. The morning when I dropped my jeep off I notice a wet spot on the driveway and could smell like a burning smell. Well once the battery was installed Ray noticed a wet spot so he investigated further and notice the seals on the water pump were wore out as well that it needed replaced. My jeep is a 2006 Commander with 52,000 and some mile on it so I know it is time for things like this to go wrong. Once I picked my jeep up Ray was explaining that he couldnt pin point exactly what the pop noise was and wanted me to bring it back when I can so that he can hook up a device to it and pin point the noise at no cost.I would say I have been using Ray since his Shell days in like 2000 or 2001 this is the most honest mechanic you will ever come across. He only repairs what it is you brought your vehicle in for and will give you a timeline on when other things might need to be done. This is in no way like those other shops who run test on your vehicle and then con you into fixing other items. You want prompt good honest service Performance Haus is the place.

Ray is a great mechanic and an all around great person. My boyfriend and I have been going to Ray for well over 5 years now and he has always been honest and trustworthy. I always refer my friends and co-workers to Ray and will continue to do so.
