I have a full sleeve and it was all done by Ryan Christy from True At Heart Tattoo/Raygun Tattoo. Ryan first of all is amazingly talented. He is super chill, family man and really listened to my ideas throughout the entire process.He suggested some colors that I would have not originally chosen as part of my arms story but am so glad I listened to his recommendations because I am THRILLED with how it turned out.I get stopped at least once or a twice week with people commenting on my sleeve. If you are looking for a solid artist, ask for Ryan. He is the best!

I have been going to Raygun tattoo for well over 7 years now, my artist is Ryan Christy. I have always felt comfortable going into the shop to draw up new pieces of art to add to my collection. Ryan has always worked very professionally and efficiently with me. I always enjoy going into the shop even if it’s just for a consultation, they really make it a good environment to be in. Awesome shop! I came in looking for merch and artwork and was overwhelmed with how cool the space was. Very cool artwork and beautiful designs. A chill spot to visit or go get some work done. This place is so cool, clean and really got the beach vibes. Their tattoo artists are on the next level, I’ve got some amazing art on my body because of these guys. I’ve been tattooed at this location by John and Stuart many times! Nothing beats the ocean breeze, chill music, awesome burritos next door at the mini market and just the nicest group of talented guys you could hope for!

So I wanted a tattoo and started looking on Yelp at different places. I really liked the images they were showing. Very detailed and the shading was on point. My tattoo artist was very patient and thorough with my consultation. In fact my consultation took longer than my tattoo but dont get me wrong he really took his time with it as well. shaded it and made it exactly what I wanted. I felt bad because his 1st draft after he had put it on my arm before he inked it up, I felt was too large and I asked for it to be made smaller and he had to redesign it all over again. That says a lot and now he has a customer for life and I have another appointment with him on Thursday for my 2nd tattoo I can hardly wait and you better believe I will post a photo of that as well. Hands down the best tattoo place in the OC! It’s hard to find real “artist” in the tattoo industry. Ryan Christy has done an amazing job on every tattoo he’s done for me. He even did a cover up that no one else would even attempt to do! Others told me to have it lasered first. Very talented guy. I get so many compliments on all my tattoos that he’s done. People always stop me and ask “Who did your ink?” I’ve moved to Kansas and now Arizona....and still travel to see “my” tattoo guy! Lol Thank you Ryan for all your artistic creativity! ~Billie Ann
