This place is located right at the heart of Dana Point harbor is a great place to get food and drinks. They are next to where all boats are docked. The restaurant is split into two sides. One side has food and smoothies, and the other side has ice cream and coffee/ice tea options.Their service is great and very friendly. They have a lot of food options to try. Everything that we tried was delicious. Their bagels are not made fresh here, and their ice creams come from Hawaii. They have some really good Hawaiian coffee ice creams. Smoothies are fresh and perfect for hot day.
Great place, been here for years... Only complaint, prices are a bit high on everything. Im sure rents high but Grilled cheese sandwich for $12...?? But location is great. Good place to get $5 buck coffee and sit.
Everything good but the wifi. A latte or such is a bit short of $7 for large, which seems about 1.25 higher than pre Corona. No wifi apparent for this shop. Scoopdeck, Harpoon, and Dana free wifi routers were all password-ed or would not connect. - No Coffee Importers-Guest showed on the wifi when I was there. Staff indicated the Harpoons might work, but it didnt. Dana Free showed open, but but no MSFT window opened on chrome to accept terms and get it going. I will try again on a sunny day.
Coffee Importers is a Dana Point Harbor staple! A must stop for visitors and a regular spot for us locals. They have a great variety of food and beverage options, healthy/unhealthy, plant based, and all the bread and carbs you could dream of. If that doesn’t do it for ya, there’s always the ice cream bar to top it off!We ordered a few fresh juices and the Thai Chicken wrap but as a bowl! All delicious, sorry no photo of the bowl it disappeared too quick 🤪
Coffee Importers has an extensive menu that is responsive to all types of preferences vegan, vegetarian and meat lovers alike. The food is a great quality, fresh and made to order. We love the Thai Chicken with avocado added and Veggie wraps that can be prepared without the tortilla bowl style. The location in Dana Point Harbor is unique for south Orange County and very charming with its classic beach town architecture (slated for a major renovation). The owner has responded to COVID19 by reimagining how he does business with an eye toward protecting his employees as well as his customers which I really appreciate. With ample outdoor dining and a team of Masked and gloved employees taking orders, preparing food, and keeping the tables clean as customers turnover tables you can feel confident dining at Coffee Importers.
One of our favorite spots for lunch! GREAT location along the harbor. Delicious food. I definitely recommend the FROZEN DRAGON LEMONADE. I promise you wont be disappointed.
Self service restaurant with large choice of bagels and toasts.Ideally for breakfast. The bagels with scrambled eggs are recommendable.Depending on amount of visitors it can take a few minutes to place your order.Only outside seating
Im unsure if I should rate this business, technically I didnt patronize it. However I could see that there were a lot of satisfied customers, and well known enough to entice patrons to wait quite a while to purchase their ice cream. I definitely intend to give it a go if I happen to find myself there again.
Always delicious food and drinks. Quick service. Perfect location right on the marina.
Lots of vegetarian options! Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. They have new tables and chairs on the patio that are very nice.
Great place to grab coffee, a smoothie or a quick lunch! Salads and sandwiches and doggy friendly for all if you dog lovers! 💕🐶
New Yorker here to say that the Dana Bagel may be the best bagel ever. Mad love for the lemon pepper.
Great place to grab a great latte with an amazing view! The place is right in Dana Point Harbor directly on the water. The coffee was delicious and I enjoyed drinking it while hearing the sea lions barking in the background. This place also has free WiFi so I think I will come back to get a little work done as well in such a great atmosphere. The coffee was very good and I will definitely come back!
0 customer service, l had visitor from Canada, after a big order he ask my family to leave and he was very rude and mean .I never had this experience in my whole life.Even It wasn’t worth it to pay an penny for his coffee very expensive and not deliciousI believe he have expensive rent and his charge is high.I will never go there anymore and make sure all my grind and family to know his serviceNo COVID safety at all
Juice was good, but I’m deducting two stars for seeing an employee pet a customer’s dog and then immediately go back to serving food and drinks with no hand washing. Big health code violation!
Egg salad sandwich is excellent! They should call it the pigeon kicker.
This place did not live up to my expectations. I spent approximately $7.35 on the Harbor Latte with oat milk, and it was bland and tasteless. The caramel and vanilla flavors seemed non existent, there was a mild sweetness to it but nothing more. I like lattes with pronounced flavors but this just didnt hit the mark for me. Definitely would opt for black coffee next time, as the price point for the latte was definitely not on par with the quality. The lady upfront was nice enough, but when I asked if there were non-dairy options she just tapped the sign that said the non dairy milks (which was off to the side and not very obvious) but didnt say anything else. It struck me as mildly rude, a simple verbal confirmation and a hand gesture would have sufficed.
THIS WAS AMAZING! Super friendly staff...right on the water with a great view and super fresh air. The lattes were really great...I had a regular latte with almond milk and my wife had their house special latte...she loved hers. Also, I feel like at this point the obligatory latte art is just standard. If you are a coffee place and dont do latte art, it really makes the overall experience less special. These guys did great art! And were very welcoming and pleasant! If you are in town...GIVE THIS A TRY.
Loved the sourdough bagel and coffee here. Very nice place to sit by the harbor, didn’t feel rushed at all and the wifi is good outside
I love going to Coffee Importers in the mornings and walking the harbor with coffee and for an added bonus you can get their pancakes with peanut butter!
Great place for a quick breakfast on the harbor. Fast, friendly service
Good coffee and matcha tea latte. Thanks!
Really liked this place! Lots of choice, good food, not cheap, but reasonable.
Little disappointed with the customer service, I understand that you are busy and thats great for business but you know what else is great for business... positive customer service.😊
Amazing egg sandwich and very solid coffee. good outdoor seating.
Good tea and a bagel. Friendly staff. Great location.
Very good!! The California bagel on the everything bagel was good too!
Best spot for breakfast in Dana Point. They expanded in the last couple years and have a lot of options and a bigger prep area. There is an espresso shop immediately next door. The coffee is top notch. The view of the harbor couldnt be better and there are always a lot of friendly dogs. Very chill area for kids with room to run around.
Great coffee. Even better ice cream. Toasted Coconut Rum (Coco Loco) and Kahlua Truffle are to die for. All the normal flavors and so many more that you cant find at other ice cream shops. Plus theres the added bonus of getting to eat it while watching all the boats. Amazing ice cream and beautiful relaxing scenery. It doesnt get much better than this. Did I mention I drove all the way from Corona for it? Yep, it is that good!
It was good but seems expensive. One bagel with egg and one with cream cheese, tea and oj $27.
Definitely a great bagel and sandwich place. The only downside is the demand is so high that you have to wait. Veggie wrap with hummus is delicious. Prices are a bit $$ must be the real estate.
Great location and plenty of seating. Bagel sandwich and coffee hit the spot.
We love the coffee and goodies, specially the VIEW of the boats & ocean
Amazing variety of coffee drinks and ice cream! They serve Laperts ice cream which can be kind of hard to come by, and it is my wifes favorite. I cannot recommend their cold brew enough.
Great food. Friendly people. Awesome location
Very good and very busy. Smoothies very good wish put up calories count with the menu.
Great coffee, they have done excellent in their attention and attitude towards social distancing and serving everyone safely.
What a gem!!! My husband is from Germany and we have been in Dana Point for a few years now. We really miss the bakeries in Europe. The fresh bread, the yummy treats, the coffee... we were craving it all last weekend!!! I googled Bakery near me and Coffee Importers popped up. There are two stores in the location. One has bagels, sandwiches etc... and the other, baked goods, coffee, etc...I know this because of the kind man who greeted me upon my arrival. He was full of all kinds of information. He lead me to the correct line for danishes. I ordered a lot ha!!! We really wanted to test these guys out. I am so happy to say that literally everything I brought home was magically delicious. Hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed everything to the last bite. Looking forward to the sandwiches on our next visit!!!
Great coffee and ice cream.
Breakfast and ice cream shop are amazing! Bring a mask :)
Good coffee ☕
There was a tad bit of a line which went slow. However, they are very quick in regards to the time it trashes to fulfill orders. Took a nice group here for the first time, they thoroughly enjoyed not only the food but the atmosphere as well.
Great food and drinks. Took the family for a late breakfast, early lunch. A big hit. The food was outstanding, and the coffee was on point. Recommend.
Great bagel sandwich, and damn good coffee. The harbor views arent too shabby either!
Very nice and helpful employees. Enjoyed my coffe and bagel while sitting out in the balcony next to all the amazing boats. And the ocean view.
Great bagels and yummy ice cream.
Really good coffee
Good place, not top notch. Good location.

Great Bagels!
This is my go to spot when I am down at the harbor. Great ice cream and good coffee. I recommend the Kona Coffee and Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream in a waffle cone.
Nice area to hang out and good taste
We love going to coffee importers! Delicious one-of -a-kind coffee drinks, deserts, ice cream, sandwiches & soup. Sit in the harborside patio, cool ocean breezes. Dog/pet friendly environment, cool breezes, restaurants & boutiques. For now it has a rare locals vibe. Very laid back, with art exhibits, annual tall ships & wale festivals, there is always something to see!
Great sandwitches
Very good breakfast. Spinach scramble served on jalapeno bagel.
Fantastic service and food, I highly recommend it if you enjoy to have a nice treat like an iced coffee or ice cream, which are both very delicious. I visited this place with my family and we all enjoyed our drinks.
Theyve got good shiz. Gave my son a sip and he skipped both naps. Two thumbs up.
I love, love the cappuccino here. They are practicing social distancing with excellent service.
Dana Point harbor. Very local, very friendly
Great place with cool vibe. When we visit Dana Point we always treat ourselves to coffee on the patio here and just hang out for a little while Definitely one of our favorite places, and it surely does its share to contribute to the charm of Dana Point for us.
Its our Sunday ritual - after church we travel there for the California bagel. Its literally the best bagel weve ever had! Plus, its located in the beautiful Dana Point harbor, where the weather is awesome, and people watching is entertaining. You must try their specialty coffees, food, and ice cream at least once. You wont regret it.
Good breakfast, above average coffee. Outside seating is plentiful and clean, I sat with my dog, lots of other well behaved dogs there. Great place to people watch. The egg cup looked good too.
We love going there for bagels and coffee...I just wish more people would be wearing masks...less than 40 percent by my count...mostly young people. Makes me sad for them and me since we will have to stay away untill covifivid is
First time drinking coffee
Friendly, efficient and good food.
Whats not to like about this place. Great coffee at more reasonable prices... and some different yummy choices you wont find elsewhere. My favorite place for a mocha! Pastries are fresh and delicious, and faces always light up for the ice cream. A must stop!
Wonderful local hangout. One side has coffee, pastries and ice cream. The other side has breakfast foods, specializing in amazing bagels. Coffee Importers is a Dana Point landmark. Theyve made some really great renovations in the recent past, and have added a minstrel on the weekends who has a beautiful tenor and plays all your old favorites on guitar. Its not fancy, but its good.
Good coffee. Pastry look better than they taste. Small and crowded. Seating on the harbor patio. Indoor seating is small and cruddy
Great location and coffee in the harbor!
Best ice cream ever! Super creamy and great flavors! Right on the harbor with great views and walking path. Great customer service. Delicious. Our new dessert stop whenever we visit the harbor!
🤘
My wife and I love getting coffee from here and sitting on the patio. Very relaxing to come here sitting next to the water looking out on to the boats.
Very large selection of both black and specialty coffees. Friendly and prompt service - ice cream side of the shop has a cute little seating area. Do yourself a favor and try the bran muffins, if they are available. So delicious!
Quick service, friendly staff, and great treating coffee! If youre in or around Dana Point Harbor, this is the place to get your coffee!
Fabulous, quirky spot by the water. An almost overwhelming amount of choices for food and drink (whether you fancy a juice, smoothie, coffee, or all three.) Had a great breakfast - their bagel sandwiches are awesome (love the addition of lemon pepper), paired with a refreshing juice blend. Went next door to order coffee - my espresso was great, but my girlfriends creme brulee latte was ridiculously good.
Visited Dana Point from Texas and loved this place. Met friends and family there for coffee, meals, and conversation. The Power Pancakes (cooked all day) were great, as were other breakfast items and sandwiches. Juices and smoothies also wonderful. Chili could have been better, but no big deal. Overall I cant wait to get back.
Love that the people scooping arent stingy with the portions. Unlike some ice cream shops that focus on making the most precise scoop possible. Perfect spot enjoy sunny day, indoor or outdoor seating.
I always go to Coffee Importers when in Dana Point. I usually get a regular coffee or a latte when I want to splurge. Otherwise, on a hot day a strawberry smoothie. There is a wide sepection of food. Family operated and attentive to patrons. Great place that hosts events and community meetings.
The owner is a huge jerk. Will not go back. Ive been coming here and bringing people here for years but all the as t stops today. Just before I went to buy my sugar free frozen mocha, my mom ( also a loyal customer but no more) were confronted by the manager for using a couple of packets of ketchup. Needless to say, the hundreds of dollars we spend each month at this dump will be going somewhere else. If the owner Jim keeps it up hes going to lose money when more and more of his loyal stop coming in.
Nice place. Good location and food
My friends brought me here with their two small girls. They have a kids friendly menu, but also a sophisticated menu for adults too! I got the chicken ceasar wrap and its the best Ive ever had. The location is nice, the views are excellent and the staff are friendly.6/5
My favorite for salads: love Californian with lots of Avocado and their orange balsamic vinegar the is not to be missed! Fresh baguette comes with it. Great people watching at Harbor. Plenty of tables. order.ctake a buzzer..self_serve. Always fresh:)
The Frozen Cappuccino here is really good
