My daughter and son-in-law just moved to Dana Point following his deployment. We stopped in at Dana Point Hardware to get a second key made. They were so appreciative of my daughter and son-in-law’s service that they would not let her pay for the key! They are one of those places that have anything you may need! True Americans!! We will definitely support local and go there first!

Best customer service: 4 guys around to help. Returned something and no questions, however had original receipt. 4 stars because dont carry nearly as much merchandise/inventory as other store. Out of garden hose selections for example. Family owned:)

Love this Local Gem. Staff is courteous, knowledgable and willing to help you look for exactly what you need. Selection is better than what you might expect to find. I would say they have a great selection of paint, hardware including nuts, screws fasteners, toggles, handheld tools some power tools and everything from light bulbs to smoking pellets to household cleaners and construction materials. Competitive pricing without the wait, the lines or the overly pushy displays. I always check here first and you should too!

This is one of those rare hardware stores that (I think) is a local family owned store. It is a somewhat small store, but they have a huge selection of merchandise. I believe they’ve figured out what customers generally want/need and stock those items. Not only household hardware, but also many products appropriate for boaters (Dana Point Harbor is nearby). Every employee is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and will even tell you which local business to go to if they are somehow unable to fulfill your needs. I love this place!

I like this place, i hope they can stay open, not many little mom n pop hardware stores anymore, Plus its super close to me. They have a pretty good selection, every time i go in for something they actually have it in stock even when i think they probably dont. They are not super overpriced either like some little shops around here. Staff is always trying to help u find what youre looking for, they seem friendly too. Keep it up guys!

Hardware store had 5-6 employees working in the store over the weekend. None of the employees were socially distancing from customers and none were wearing masks. Will not return.

Has quite a good selection of common hardware and tools. All very high quality stuff. Very friendly and helpful staff. Seems to be a family run business.

Love these old fashion hardware stores. Theyre not humongous warehouses like the big chains, but thats also there advantage.Really friendly and helpful and knowledge staff shelf you find the hard to find part that big box stores dont bother to carry.

They always seem to have what I need and are so helpful in me obtaining it. Prices seem in-line with other stores so I dont feel like Im being over charged. I like supporting our local businesses and this one has sure earned my patronage.

Great little local hardware store in Dana Point with more inside than youd expect when you see it from the outside. The staff are all friendly, courteous and helpful and go out of their way to help find answers and solutions to your hardware questions and needs.
