We had a very unfortunate experience with US Granite. At templating appointment slab was not brought out from the side of a dark warehouse. Expected to make decisions in the dark with employee who did not speak English. Expected to pay for counters prior to install based on estimate. At installation square footage had been reduced yet no reduction to price. Corner of island rounded despite all other corners being squared. Didn’t consult with us first or explain. Sent multiple emails with no response. Terrible experience. Never again.

I bought my granite countertop last June and it still looks great! It came out to be a little cheaper than competitors and they did an amazing job with installing. They were very careful but it didn’t take forever to do. Quick yet efficient. I can’t say enough about customer service. So helpful and patient and had a very good selection of stone to choose from. Highly recommend them for any of the needs you may have that they can provide!

The crews that came to the house were very good; they clearly know what theyre doing. US Granite gave us a 5 page list of things to initial. I recommend reading all of them and making sure you have them all covered (plumber checks beforehand, cabinets are level, etc.). I went over each point. They list all the important things to consider. It wasnt hard, but each very important. It resulted in a smooth and very clear process. Kitchen is beautiful. Happy wife, happy life.

Never again. We were return customers to U.S. Granite. We are not sure what happened between then and now, but we will not be returning again or referring anyone to this company. The scheduling process was horrendous - each time we were told a time slot, it was incorrect. Even after calling to review the schedule, confirming install time at the template appointment, and checking again at our layout appointment, this company STILL didnt show at the scheduled time and then told us we had a completely different install time. We were also quoted for square footage that turned out to be significantly less than what we needed, forcing us to pay over $1300 than expected after they applied a 15% discount for the mistake (after our countertops had been removed, of course.) We also arrived to our layout appointment on time to be informed that no one was present who could assist us and had to wait a half hour beyond our scheduled appointnent time to be helped.To top it off, the installers forgot a small piece of stone when they came. Today I received a call at work that they were waiting at our house to install it - no appointment, no heads up. The piece is being left for us to install ourselves now.Your time is not valuable to this company. Organization is not their forte.The materials offered are beautiful but not worth the headache of dealing with U S. Granite.

I visited five showrooms before US Granite. Yelena greeted us and we explained what we were looking for. She showed us all the options and we quickly choose our countertops. Yelena was awesome. She drew our kitchen from scratch just by our description and approximate measurements. We scheduled a fabrication date and Robert Basar, who is the owner of the company, came and did the fabrication himself. Within a week our countertops were installed. I am a 3-time customer who highly recommends U. S. Granite. First of all, the showroom is beautiful and the staff is very helpful. There is a large selection of lovely stones to select from with very reasonable prices, and an incredible selection of tile as well. I first did my kitchen counters with them, and was so happy that I later hired them to do my master bath vanity tops and after a while my hall bathroom as well. They did an awesome job with all 3 projects!

I highly recommend US Granite - Danbury. They installed granite in our kitchen and did a GREAT job. There were intricate angles that had to be precise and they got them all perfect. They came when they said they would and the price, which was very competitive, didnt change from the original quote. They also let us layout the template on the slab so we could pick the parts of the stone we wanted. If I could give them 6 stars I would. We will use them again.

I purchased a granite kitchen countertop, sink and faucet from US Granite. I thought the showroom and selection were very nice but thats where the good part ended. The entire process was a series of mistakes and inattention and I am extremely disappointed and upset with my experience with US Granite.I was suprised to be asked to pay the entire countertop fee before it was completed, and I told the owner Robert I was uncomfortable about it but he insisted (red flag and lesson learned). Now its clear what a mistake that was.The installers dented and scratched the front of my refrigerator. No one mentioned to me while they were here that there had been a problem. When the plumber came to attach the sink, the 2 drains that were sent did not fit. The screws were too short to work with the granite sink. I had to find replacements at the last minute.When my contractor came to grout the backsplash we realized the countertop had not been sealed. It was absorbing liquids. I called Marie to tell her the countertop hadnt been sealed. It was not the conversation I expected. Rather than arranging to have an installer come and check, she said she was sure the installers would have done that after the installation. When I explained the countertop was not wiped down and my contractor confirmed it was still absorbing liquid, Marie asked for the name and number of my contractor which I found disrespectful but I gave it to her anyway. She never reached out to him.Because US Granite did not seal the countertop and was not returning my call, I couldnt wait any longer to use the kitchen, I had to have someone else do it.I paid US Granite for the countertop and installation in full. However, the installation was not complete, I had to replace materials incorrectly ordered by US Granite, I have a scratched and dented refrigerator, and had been without a kitchen for over two weeks. Marie never returned my phone call and Robert has not responded to my written complaint.I would strongly recommend finding another granite supplier.

Wonderful experience. I had been to several granite stores before I selected US Granite. From the first day in the show room Penny was the best. You walk through a warehouse full of slabs that you get to chose. There is no push to go with them and they give you time to decide. Penny and Fabi understand this is a big decision and give ideas that worked for my kitchen. I had to have a seam in my counter, Penny Ricky and staff looked at the slab of granite and chose the best place to make the seam. You can not see the seam at all!!! Wonderful customer service! Had patience moving slabs around so I could see them to be able to make my selection. Ordered on a Friday and was installed the following Friday! It was installed perfectly and with no issues. We used them for our kitchen and went back for our bathroom. Will go again when we redo our next bathroom.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. We bought our kitchen coutertops from them 3 years ago. The owner Robert made a mistake with the type of sink we had and then tried to blame us that we did not give him the proper information. He was extremely rude to my wife. He called her a liar on the phone, raised his voice and was very demeaning. We told him we were very into cooking and wanted something durable. He convinced us to get marble since it was very durable and would be a perfect fit for us. It turns out the marble scratches and etches incredibly easily, he probably just wanted to get rid of excess marble he had. We trusted their opinion-clearly our best interest was not in mind. One of their guys who came back to buff out some scratches a few days after installation could not believe the poor work they did when they installed it. Please stay away from this place.

The absolute worst. These are the worst contractors I have ever dealt with.No one you deal with is competent, no one is a natural English speaker and they will charge you to fix mistakes they make.I used this company because I found a nice piece of granite and the price was reasonable. It was not worth the small savings.The minute you give this company a deposit, you become a hostage to their incompetency. Stay away.

I used US Granite for my outdoor kitchen. There were a few challenges during the installation and the crew was very helpful working through them.I recently remodeled my kitchen and went back to see them. They sales staff was very helpful. The lady I worked with made me feel like comfortable and offered a lot of good advice. When the crew came to install the granite in the kitchen they remembered me by name.

Hands down, my best experience in selecting counter tops, and I have renovated a number of kitchens. U.S. Granite has an amazing selection of beautiful stone slabs, conveniently and comfortably housed indoors, and an extremely professional, knowledgeable staff. The entire process of selection, layout, and installation was flawless, and extremely timely. Their pricing is very competitive, and their options are extensive, not only in the type of stone, but in color range, pattern, and finish. I chose a leathered granite, which has a very rustic texture, but honed and polished options are also available. Fabby is a tremendous pleasure to work with, and dont forget to check out their remnants outside for smaller projects. I highly recommend U.S. Granite, and wish I had found them sooner!

We did a major renovation project that included both the kitchen and the master bathroom and elected to utilize US Granite products for all the counter tops. Each time we evaluated several options but selected US Granite because of the quality of their product and the value offered; and most important the exceptional advice and customer service provided by Nick DiPierro (very busy but worth waiting for) . Also, it was a pleasure to find the business owner (Robert) very focused on the sales process and customer service.

Nick initially helped us, and was fantastic. Baron measured the countertops and was outstanding. The woman who answers the phone is negative, unfriendly and exhibits very poor customer service on the two occasions I have had to deal with her. Too bad, as everyone else has been very customer-focused, and I would recommend 5 stars for this company were it not for her.

Using US Granite was a great experience. Their designer Nick Di pierro is the best that I have used in all of my years of business. The brands of their cabinets are some of the best cabinets I have installed, and their granite is superb. I highly recommend using US Granite for their care and expertise in their products.

My wife and I went through many various slabs of granite at the shop and we found the perfect piece. They measured and quickly took out our old ugly granite and installed the new granite in no time. 100% professional during the whole process. A year later, we decided to install a bigger gas stove and they came out to increase the size of the hole in the granite so I could get our new stove in. Cannot say enough good things about U.S. granite.

I recently had new granite countertops installed in our kitchen . From start to finish the staff at U.S. Granite was very helpful. What also was a benefit was the hours they were open. They were the only business in the state that is open on Sundays. Choosing the granite, then the template andpicking the placement of the templates to the slabs was also a new experience and they had a lot of helpful suggestions. The day of install the 5 installers were there on time, all worked efficiently as a team, making sure we were very pleased with their work. In short poor template, poor installation, had to hack Into wall, left bathroom a mess. Had to convenience them the backsplash was installed improperly - did not touch the wall and was not square. They finally came out they did come out, New installer admitted it was a poor job, was finally corrected at an added expense to me that they would not compensate for . Very Poor customer service and experience overall.

Felt disrespected by employee Nick, who made several sexist remarks when I stopped by to make an inquiry at the store. This, coupled with sub-par communication, has ensured that I will not be returning.

My wife and I cannot speak highly enough of this company. We walked in and were greeted by a very professional staff. Fabi listened to our ideas look at our plans and gave us other ideas. We walked out with a slightly different concept that truly improved our kitchen design. They were professional straightforward and listened well. They delivered and installed on time and were very efficient. We went to three or four other places and walked out dissatisfied by the lackof information and skill. I have to say that every staff member at US Granite is exceptional!!! From the moment I walked in after a two hour drive, crazy I know but I could not find what I was looking for and had read about US Granite, everyone was welcoming. While construction has taken longer than anticipated, they never pressured me to take the granite before we were ready. Once we were, Baron came and did the measurements and template, we traveled back to Danbury to look at the template on the granite and with guidance from Marie, and within the coming days it was installed by a great group of professionals who took great pride in what they were doing.I also needed a surround for the fireplace and working with Fabby, she was able to help me with the details and get the pieces fabricated for me in no time.Without everyone’s help, this would never have come to fruition the way I had imaged it and I could not be happier with the finished product!!US Granite is an outstanding company to work with and it is because of the dedication and knowledge of the staff and the quality and variety of product they carry. Our project in replacing the kitchen and MBR countertop was a little bigger than the average, but it went smoothly without any issue. It was a pleasure of working with Fabby V. who couldnt be any nicer. Her advice in choosing the stone was very helpful to us. Subsequent to the stone order, we added and changed different size of sinks and strainer, but Fabby was always there happily helping us. We appreciated her attention to her customers. In addition, Ricky, Barron and his installation crew were very professional. It was a good experience for us with U.S. Granite.

Beautiful showroom, all customers are treated equally as nice. Fabby was our sales girl and her name says it all. Fabby was FABULOUS. My handi-caped mother was treated like a queen. Within 2 weeks they had came and measured, we went to showroom/wharehouse to design the layout and installed the countertop. Everyone thought we redid our entire kitchen just by replacing the countertop. The US in U.S..Grantie should stand for ULTIMATE SATISFACTION. Oh and by the way the prices are amazing.

Ill start by saying if I could rate them zero stars I would! In early May, 5/1/17 to be exact I went to their Danbury store and worked with Marie for a small order to include a threshold and triangular seat for a master shower I was finishing. It was a Monday and the order totaled $311.07. I was promised my order no later than Saturday by Marie.On Saturday morning May 6th, I called and asked for Marie. I was told she was with other customers and would call me back as I left my contact info with the gentleman I spoke with. Several hours later after no return call I called again. At this time, approximately 1:10pm I was advised by Marie that my order was in fact not fabricated as of yet because they were busy, despite my being promised the items by that day.I advised Marie that I wanted to cancel my order and have my $311.07 refunded to my card. She advised that my order would b ready on Tuesday which was unacceptable, and if I still wanted to cancel my order, which I did, Id have to call back at a later time as they were busy and she couldnt take the time to process my credit at that time.Because of my own fault, 2 weeks passed and I finally called back on Friday May 26th and again spoke with Marie. She asked for my cc info which I gave her and she stated that because they were busy the credit would not be issued until the following day, Saturday May 27th. I was fine with that.I left town for just shy of 2 weeks on Sunday May 28th and upon my return, on Thursday June 8th, I still had no credit to my card.On Monday June 12th, I called and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with a woman who had an accent who said her name was Fabby or Sabby, couldnt really understand. I explained the entire saga and she assured me shed credit my card that day, even reciting my cc info to me, but she did say it would tae a few days to show up on my statement.Well its been 8 days since I spoke with her and I still dont have a credit. I always like to give the merchants I deal with the benefit of the doubt before filing a dispute with my CC company, but this is ridiculous!Not only will I never do business with this business, but Ive already told everyone I know that are in the trades as I am to beware of this business and their empty promises. Buyer Beware!!!

We wish to take time to say how very pleased we are with our new Granite countertops. After shopping many places we now know where we should have started and save lots of time in the process. We found US Granite in Danbury the place to do business with. They have a very large selection of slabs and their sales people were very helpful and not pushy at all. When the pattern maker came to our home for measurements he was very professional and had all the tools and materials needed to do the job. After making our selection of slabs we met with the gentleman who actually lays out the slab for cutting. He too really knows what to look for and gave us excellent advice.The day of the installation the installers came on time and again with everything needed to do the job. The team was excellent paying attention to every detail and worked well together.We could not be more pleased with US Granite and we now have gorgeous countertops that will last for many years to come!

My husband and I decided that our 25th Anniversary celebration would NOT include a trip or a cruise, but the replacement of the BLUE FORMICA that graced our kitchen since we purchased our home 23 years ago. From the beginning of our experience with Fabby and Robert Basar (the owner), to the help of Penny, the template creation by Ricky, the template layout with Tony (Fabbys father) and Robert, where we were able to pick out slabs and choose the placement of the template over the slabs, and the installation by Carlos and his crew, all went very smoothly. Fabby called me today, the day after installation, just to see how everything went and I told her that I LOVE it, and I dont ever want to cover it up with any appliances. I would recommend US Granite, Inc. very highly - you wont be disappointed.

We just had our kitchen and laundry room countertops installed and every part of the experience proved that Robert Basar and his company are the top in their class of customer service as well as craftsmanship.Both Yeleyna and Penny in the showroom were extremely helpful and patient with us in picking out the right granite and style.Ricky came to do the templating and was helpful in giving advice and took my calls to him personally about some questions.Mehmet in the shop took his time in helping us choose the right layout of the countertops from the slabs and the proper flow of the veining. He is truly an expert in his field. No other granite shop we visited offered this additional level of service. This is truly unique and exemplifies Roberts level of service and how far they go to satisfy a customer and exceed their expectations.The installation crew led by Carlos, are true professionals.
