Been to this Zales several times for the past 3 years for both a purchase and cleaning. Great customer service and knowledge staff members who will go over and beyond to take care of customers wants and needs. They are pleasant and extremely helpful.
A one star is generous. Zales is great but this location is trash. Dont waste your time go to a better location.
One star is generous. At fist I was happy with our experience but then it turned sour. I was notified that they couldn’t special order my fiancée’s ring. I took to reading reviews and found many with the same story that the clerk Nicole provided us with. I thought she was great at first but I guess first impressions are deceiving. We have no ring for my fiancée and I didn’t want to chance waiting for something that was never going to happen after reading all the reviews. I do believe it is a scam. I think it’s trying to scam people into buying all their stock in the store, maybe they have too much and don’t have room to get anything else? I do not believe the clerk ever put in the special order. If you want to buy what they have in the store that’s fine but if you need to special order anything don’t even bother. They will give you this fake song and dance that they are doing all they can to get it, and you will never get it. Never again will Zales get any of my money. I’m done with this awful store. Go to a real Jewerly place instead of one in the mall.
Wonderful experience! The staff is amazing. Joanne is very helpful and kind, Sarah is extremely professional and she even knows the right size of the ring by only looking at your hand! Cory is the manager and he helped us as well to stay within our budget. We went there little after 6pm and ended up staying for 3 hours. The staff went far and beyond, staying after hours to make sure all our items are taking care of. When we were leaving the mall was already closed! We purchased multiple items and even brought couple of our own things for repair. We managed to get excellent deals and with girls help we were able to get multiple discounts. From now on this is our jewelry store to go to. I definitely recommend this place!
Maybe I caught them on an off day but there was only 1 other client in the store and we didn’t even get a “hello” when we walked in and then got ignored for 7 mins after. Literally no one acknowledged us and we left
A warning to all hopeful-buyers going to Zales at this location: the staff and manager are extremely unprofessional and dishonest, charging us more money than anticipated, and ganging up on us when we were getting cold feet to proceed with our wedding bands purchase. If I could give 0 stars, I would.NOTE: My fiance and I fell in love with the rings. There is nothing wrong with them physically.What ended up staining the sentimental value of our wedding bands, was how rude and deceitful the staff at Zales at Danbury Fair Mall were.For starters, the assistant and manager ended up opening a Zales credit card under my fiances name without his consent. This is ILLEGAL. They proceeded to pressure us in an uncomfortable way, lied about total price, spoke over us and interrupted us many times. Laughed and made in appropriate comments regarding us. We were RIGHT there!Best piece of advice, run! Genuinely, wish we could say more about this, but hope we can change the meaning of our wedding bands on the big day. CUSTOMERS: be attentive if they do this to you, especially without your consent! Many retail stores have incentives for staff opening credit cards for raises/rewards. Fine. But what about doing it without your permission, and then making fun of you? We are planning to bring this claim further.
Thank you Joann & Kathy for your advice on what to do with my ring. I know you girls were closing tonight but thank you for taking me in last minute. Thats why I travel over an hour to thus zales for their service.

Extremely frustrated and dissatisfied. I purchased a ring in March for my fiance. The staff In the store was wonderful at that time but the ring needed to be resized. The store sent it out and then Covid hit. After not hearing anything on the ring repair status I called customer service late june and to very helpful rep told me the ring had been shipped back to the store and it was available for curbside pickup. Ive tried calling the store numerous times with no answer. The store is listed as open on the website. The customer service rep even opened a ticket for someone to look into it but I still havent gotten a response. I paid a decent amount of money for the ring and I just want my fiance to get it already. Very dissatisfied. Especially with rumors of potential store closures for signet sister companies one of which being zales. Just wish someone would look into this.
