Knowledgeable staff, helped me choose some beautiful exterior lighting for my home. Lead times were long, but the fixtures were high end and custom made, so worth the wait. Nice selection.

Take your business elsewhere! Zero regard to customer service, it’s appalling. I came into the showroom to purchase multiple fixtures and was barely acknowledged for a solid 10 minutes. I was very interested in one particular fixture they had on display. Apparently since there was no tag attached, there was no way to tell the manufacturer of the product. There was no effort made to even attempt to find the specific manufacturer. How can you have a product on display and not have information on it? I then proceeded to ask the staff for other suggestions in that same style from other vendors, the response was “well, we have a lot of books you’ll have to look through”. I complied and selected a few fixtures. Mid-way through addressing my pricing/shipping questions the sales associate runs off to help someone else. Absolutely unbelievable. I waited 5 minutes and then I closed the sales books and walked out. Highly recommend CT Lighting Showroom in Southington. Huge selection and attentive, knowledgeable staff. I ended up purchasing over 30 fixtures with no issues.

Beautiful place with many different styles of lamps. My reason for giving one star is because customer service is very important to me as a business owner myself! Walking into the place ready to place an order of 5 hanging lamps that my husband saw last week for our bar, we weren’t even acknowledged! There were no other customers in the store and both employees put their heads up as we walked in and didnt say a word to us! Not even a “hello” or “welcome” So my husband politely says hello and yet again no acknowledgement whats so ever. Not once were we asked if we needed help finding anything! With that being said I would rather spend my money somewhere else where I am going to be acknowledged as a customer and where someone is actually willing to do their job and do the basics and greet you while coming into their business or atleast ask if we needed help with finding anything!!

Staff not friendly, didn’t acknowledge me as I walked past 4 different staff members. I walked in prepared to purchase several items for a new kitchen and no one ever spoke to me. I looked around for almost 10 minutes, even checking some price tags and no one of staff ever said a word, they never even looked up even though only one other customer was in the store (a man being helped quite attentively I might add, I’m not sure why they didn’t help me if it wasn’t because I am a female or what). Would not recommend based on bad customer service.

This is the go-to electrical supply house in the area. If youre an electrician and you need something, they probably have it. If youre a homeowner looking for new light fixtures, they have something for everyone in their massive showroom. The staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly, always there to help you find the right solution.

They had a bulb I needed at a great price that wasnt available at the big box stores. I was very happy with my trip there.

Great staff and great selection of lighting fixtures. My wife and I found a dining room chandelier that we both liked on the first visit.

I will freely admit that I do not know much about their lighting showroom, but it does seem to have a fantastic and diverse product selection. The folks at the supply counter are extremely helpful and bend over backwards to help you find the right product for the job at hand.

Tim at F&M came through for us when we unexpectedly needed new parts for our generator - just as a hurricane was predicted (with a toddler at home and a baby due any day.) We were fortunate enough to find their listing, and after telephoning them, Tim held on to the parts we needed (which were in high demand) while my husband drove over a half-hour to reach their store. We did lose power - but our generator held on. We will go out of our way to purchase from them in the future.
