Best in Backyards recently installed a kids playhouse and we couldnt be happier! Installers were timely, professional and did a fantastic job!! Our 4 and 2 year old children love their new cabin playhouse. It even has a loft and a porch swing! A great quality product that will last for years. Thank you so much!

Couldnt be happier with Kenny from the Danbury location. He made the process easy and the workers installed our Fantasy Tree House in several hours. Sure, it was a big purchase. However, it was worth seeing the look on our childrens faces, knowing theyll get years of outdoor play at home with each other and their friends. As they say, childhood memories cant be taken away from you.

Stay away! Spent 7k on a hottub and it was delivered broken. They refuse to return it. They have tried to fix it 5 times already and this last time they left a mess and ripped apart my tub and its still leaking!!

Very poor service. Ordered a trampoline with installation. Installation was rescheduled couple of times. Installation was completed finally but some accessories were on back order, no status on the back order.I wouldnt recommend buying anything from them.

Best in backyards is absolutely amazing. We had a great experience from start to finish with them. The Danbury staff was so Friendly and informative. Installation apt was scheduled quickly and installers were amazing. Friendly, professional, and quick. Finished product is excellent quality and my kids are so excited to have a swing set in their backyard!!

UPDATE!! 11/2020We received a very understanding phone call from Rolf Zimmerman who did everything possible to rectify the situation. These guys went above and beyond to help us out with all the issues we previously had. From the phone calls and back and forth emails, Rolf was courteous, prompt, and made good on his promises. We understand everyone has bad days and unfortunately maybe we were on the receiving end of just one of them. But the good days we have been able to now spend in our hot tub outweighs the hiccups along the way. All I have to say is these guys have gotten fabulous reviews aside from ours and if you have any issues give Rolf a call!10/2020 - 1 StarFirst off this company should change their name to WORST in backyards. I have never dealt with a company with such horrific customer service - and I am not even coming at this as a Karen.We first scheduled a hot tub service/cleaning with a gentleman named Tod in the Danbury location. Tod was for the most part efficient at taking payment and sending our request to scheduling, noting someone would call by the end of day to make appointment. After speaking with Todd we explained our hot was not working as efficiently as we would like noting issues such as hot tub running at high temp and water pillow jets not working properly. He noted that a tech would clean the tub, change out filters, test chemicals, etc and make an assessment at what would need to be done to rectify those issues. Later the same day Tod called back to ask if we would like to include a water change out at additional $150. After all said and done the cost was almost $400.Two days later I called back Todd as no one ever called to schedule. He said their was an appointment in the system that surprisingly worked for us. The day before the appointment I received a confirmation text for date and time between 3-6. My husband took half a day off to come home early to be their when the tech was supposed to be there. The tech arrived at noon that day. My husband spoke to him after seeing him on security cameras. The tech proceeded to begin emptying the hot tub in our lawn only 25 feet from the tub and right next to our septic tank, and our hot tub holds 415gallons. The tech was then instructed to empty the tub using our additional hoses (which he did not have with him). When my husband arrived home he found the tech filling our tub from our well. Again 415gallons!!! Now I don’t know about anyone else, but common sense tells me you shouldn’t expect anyone’s well to be able to provide that much water. I also did not expect to pay someone an additional 150$ to have them stand with a hose to fill our tub with our own water instead of bringing water with them. The tech could not finish the cleaning that day. He did not bring filters with him and was not able to diagnose any of the issues we had spoken with Todd about. My husband spoke with the service manager who basically blamed us for any and all miscommunication, did not take responsibility for having the tech come at the wrong time and did not resolve any problems.The following day I spoke with the scheduling department who I addressed our issues with. Their response was that they weren’t surprised of the experience. They did not have us rescheduled and had no idea of the situation. The tech did come back that day to “finish” without an appointment and without the filters.So after them repeatedly sending us to voicemail and not getting back to us, we had a TERRIBLE experience with this company. Bottom line if you are thinking of using their hot tub service DONT. You are better off throwing your money in a trash can instead of dealing with the aggregation of this company.

What a wonderful experience I had with Best in Backyards. My husband and I wanted to gift our grandson a playset for his first birthday. Between emails with myself and John Honigsburg, who I found out was based in the New Windsor Store, he answered all my questions and sent us to Tod in Danbury. How incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and professional! We will be going back there every year to add to our little guys set. Additionally, we found out that you also do patios and decks and pergolas and so much more that we need! You have a customer for life! Great job, guys!

John was extremely helpful and patient in helping us select a shed that met our requirements and budget. Highly recommended.
