Great experience at the Danbury location in CT. Greg was so helpful and very informative. The store Manger Kira was very knowledgeable about information I needed to know from permits to the process. She was great. Truly appreciate such wonderful customer service. I am thrilled and cannot wait to have my pool installed

The purchase was great and Kira was very helpful and knowledgeable. The pool was delivered a week later as promised, and now has been sitting in our basement for 2 weeks. No one will get back to us on when it will be installed and even after i was given the contractors contact information he informed me that I wasnt on his list yet, and it would be 4 weeks till my pool gets installed after he receives my paperwork. This would make the install 6 weeks when i was promised a week when we purchased the pool. The lack of response and communication has been frustrating. I was told that someone would get back to me 3 days ago, and still no response.

We’re interested in adding a pool but the prospect of it is a bit daunting for me because of all that’s involved, both before and after the installation. The staff at Namco in Danbury, Ct were extremely knowledgeable and attentive to my concerns. They were able to answer all of my questions with ease. We’re still toying with the idea but if we take the plunge, this is where we’re getting our pool from. Thanks Chris and Kira for all of the information and good ideas shared!

I truly wish I could give zero stars for the frustrating experience from this company. I have gone from “you are the first in the queue for delivery”, to “the pool is being delivered by 7/27”, to “oops we cannot find your order”. You cannot get someone to answer the phone, the voicemail is full, once you send a message through messenger you are blocked, and emails aren’t answered. Pool was ordered online in early June with a promised in stock shipping date of 7/20. If someone could just tell me the order status and stop with the lies I would be grateful. Disgusting customer service.

If I could give NO STARS I WOULD!! TERRIBLE!!! I placed an order for a pool on 5/19/2020 with the store since I was told store orders were prioritized over online orders. I went with a smaller size pool than I originally wanted because I was told the smaller pool was IN STOCK AND WOULD SHIP IN 10-14 BUSINESS DAYS. I called the store twice this past week to inquire as to where my pool was and still have not received a phone call back. You cannot get any answer on the customer service line, after holding for 27 minutes it disconnects you, the voicemail is full, if you email customer service you get an auto reply stating it will take 5-7 days for a response! Today I received an email stating that my pool would not ship until JULY 20-24!!! How does an IN STOCK AND READY TO SHIP POOL SUDDENLY BECOME A 2 MONTH WAIT??? AWFUL WAY TO DO BUSINESS!! I WILL BE CANCELING MY ORDER AS SOON AS SOMEONE ANSWERS A PHONE, A PHONE CALL, OR AN EMAIL! Summer will be over by the time my pool arrives.

Im in the same boat as many.... If I could give a zero star rating, I would. I understand that due to cindering out of Namcos hands (Covid-19) they are experiencing increased demand and limited stock. This does not, however, excuse them from the ghastly lack of customer service, communication, and candor around order and shipping delays. Theres no way to get in touch with customer service - they do not answer the phone, their mail box is full, and they do not return emails even with an extended 5-7 day grace period. Want to get your money back? You cant. Because customer service is the only part of the business that can process a refund.I cannot in good conscience recommend this company. We may or may not get a pool by the end of summer (we placed our order in May) and we cant get anybody on the phone to process a return. It really may have to come down to reporting fraud through the bank. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for your pool products. Downeys is a great place to start!

I have bought a lot of things in my life but this hands down is my worst experience, sale went fine but my mistake was I paid in full. It took a couple of months to get pool and what do you know after tons of phone calls I got a pool but it was the wrong one. So after I finally got the right pool I had it installed I paid for upgrade of insulation had the pool filled and had electrical hooked up . So I took plugs out of strainer and exit just to find every hose line leaks and pump leaks and there was no pressure gauge and vent cap missing, I had water shoot out like a laser beam. I have been sending emails many phone calls and I getting no response. I am beyond frustrated I have spent over $12000 and I have an unusable pool . I would not recommend customer service does not exist at this company.

The store is totally renovated in a new location. Great friendly staff. My only complaint is they should have automatic doors. Their pool water testing is state of the art. Always a great experience.

I will literally appalled by this store. It was FILTHY. There was a slop bucket of dirty water right in the entrance so we are immediately turned off. We are shopping for a hot tub - a very expensive purchase - I would not buy a pool float from this place let alone an item for thousands of dollars. The sales people were terrible and knew nothing about hot tubs. Horrific experience will never return

Been a loyal customer for 10 years. Went to store today, new Manager and employees are now a bunch of lazy people shooting the breeze with their friends. Could care less about customers. No knowledge of products. Probably losing thousands a day in sales. Fire your manager and hope that you don’t lose loyal customers.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! No one picks up the phone when you call. They put your through to a call center that cannot help you and just transfers you back to the store where the phone rings and rings and rings. We we supposed to have our outdoor set delivered on a Monday, by Thursday we called to check on the order and were told they meant the week of not specifically on Monday. A woman at the store told us that the table was out for delivery and we should have it by the end of the week. By the following Tuesday we still had not received our outdoor set- when I called to cancel the order completely I was told that we would be charged for delivery and a separate restocking fee!!! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT NAMCO AGAIN!!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

Applied in FEBRUARY. Heard back in MARCH, literally got told I had the job, and have waited over month to fill out paperwork. I was told just now about 6 weeks later that my hours are not for their availability. Beyond unprofessional.
