Guy at the shop didnt give the receipt. Back home, I realized I had paid almost $50 more for the things that I bought. The same stuff bought at any other Indian grocery would not be more than $40-$50. The guy charged me $102!!! And did not even give the receipt as other Indian stores do. Something was wrong. I also realized it much later and had to pay the price of not being aware. Bad experience overall. Never going to go to this store. Terrible
Great little store with pretty much everything you will need if youre cooking Indian for dinner. Also lots of snacks and other groceries. The store is little tight but it is well stocked with everything. In the store they have a little take out hot buffet and some prepared foods to go. The is also a Indian food takeout at the same location
Perfectly sized store with everything youll need for your indian cuisine and more. Good quality fresh vegetables are always in stock. The owner is extremely friendly and the icing on the cake take out food counter.
A very kind woman helped me both times I went. Best samosas in the world!!!
Indian, food and spices is a great 👍store. They have all kinds Indian recipes and grocery shopping for good place to go there. I love 💘to go there for shopping.
Im a regular buyer at this store . Very clean store and helpful owners. If I needed anything they didnt have they would make a note and get it for me . I was surprised to see the low rating . I have to say Mrs.Chetna (store owner) is really helpful. When I was quarantined had no help she tried as much possible to deliver food and grocery home . The food I have ordered is only vegetarian I like their panneer dishes . I will definitely recommend the store .
Great store for Indian groceries. The owners are very helpful and nice people. Always love to explore the freezers and shelves!
Great selection in small and clean store with friendly and helpful proprietors. Make sure to buy the homemade samosas and other guilty pleasures.
Great variety of spices, grains and flours at great prices. Wonderful and friendly staff.
Very bad customer service. I never go to this place anymore...... very bad
EXCELLENT SPICESI MAKE MY OWN INDIANFOOD
Nice friendly place to pick up all indian groceries and spices. They also sell freshly made food to go.
Great food selection, its nice to be able to get some specialties that we cant get elsewhere in the area. They also have a kitchen for to-go orders and the food is fantastic! Ive only have a few dishes so far but all were delicious. The chicken tikka masala is the best Ive had in a very long time, needless to say this is a great place to grab take out!
Half of their items are expired. Seems like they don’t check the expiry date at all. Caught this several times. Also complained about it to owner. Owner was so rude when I mentioned I am going complain about this to department of state that you keep the expired items in your store and sell them without paying any attention to the expiry date. After the complain, I visited the store again still had the expired items in the store. Please be careful and check the expiry dates. They are there just for business and they doesn’t care about the issues it might cause to the customers.
Stopped in first thing this am. and the chefgraciously prepared Curry/Naan to order that we took to go. He gave us a sample to try first. We ate at it after a 45minute ride home and the bread was still warm!Everything was delicious, thank you!!
This place probably have Indian groceries but service is very terrible. the lady at the front needs to learn how to talk to people and the take out food service is terrible.
Everything is way overpriced and there was no receipt given. I think they should not take advantage of customers during these hard times.
Do not waste your money. Its better you make your own food and tastes much better than this. We ordered all non-veg dishes and nothing was eatable.
The spices Ive been looking for at a great price. Try the samosas, so delicious!
Went there but was closed. store looked real nice and neat
Price gouging during corona pandemic shows people’s true colors.
Store: A bit pricier than other Indian store in the neighborhood. Well maintained and stocked. Clean and maintained very neatly.Restaurant: Very expensive and the chef seems to promise everything is possible to be cooked there like Dhum biriyani or whatnot. Tried Samosas from them and it was too expensive with limited taste. So not going back for food from there.
Great service, friendly and helpful staff. Vegetarian appetizers are delicious!
I have found anything I need here. Clean Store. Friendly Service. A+
My wife and I drive up from Westchester, just to visit this store, and get lunch at the Pho place across the street. We love that the lady always gives us lots of help, and tells us new recipe ideas when we visit. I always get mango pulp to make my yogurt mango lasis here.
Ethnic cooking can be so much easier with the right spices. Was turned on to this place by a good friend who knows my penchant for Indian dishes. I normally have to drive almost an hour to get fresh curry leaves or turmeric root. I discovered Indian Food & Spice carries 99% of the ingredients needed for preparing Indian foods. Fresh vegetables are delivered on Wednesday and Friday. Lots of ground dried and seed spice stock to choose from. Full market selections. We were lucky enough to eat lunch @ The Mango Tree lunch restaurant while there but thats a separate review. #newreview #newreview
Store has started a food service recently. Chef who deals with this portion of the business is a short tempered person and quality of food is not good.
Very friendly service with a great selection of fresh, frozen, and packaged foods.
Uncle ji, you are the best, best service in the town!
Bad customer service .
Found them to be a little pricier than the other Indian Grocery store on the same road.
Really friendly people, and good stock
Very good
