Ive been looking around and calling window companies in the middle of a pandemic...would agree on a appointments,with some of them not showing up or would just wanted to give an estimate over the phone, and did not want deal multi-level condominiums...One day I was driving on 95 and saw the Broward Impact Windows signage and decided to pay them a visit. First of all, they have a great show room, I met Robert K. and Joe Marshall...and it was the beginning of a great professional relationship...estimates was done, date was set as to when the job was going to be done, worked with the HOA. The installers (I believe it was Charley and Mike), were right on time, and could not be more pleased...If you are looking to get your windows replaced...these are your go-to guys, you wont be disappointed!

The worst customer support I’ve ever dealt with.Installation was a nightmare chipped and ruined a 2400.00 front door took no responsibility for it and stuck me with it. Never put stopper on my slider finally months later the added them. The don’t sell parts for there installed slider. Never call you back finally had to make three appearances to even talk to rep.

Fast forward to the company’s reply almost a year after the review...argumentative to the end. Maybe it was a bike, maybe I was back there kicking my door with steel-toe boots on, maybe Batman hit my window with a Bat-a-Rang. Think twice on this one folks.On 8/3/20 I contacted Broward Impact about a cracked sliding glass door panel that my wife noticed. I sent a few photos and asked for some warranty replacement assistance. I received a disappointing voicemail from our salesperson a few days later informing me that there is essentially no warranty on my windows, and that based on the few photos I sent they were able to definitively determine that my sliding glass door (under a covered back porch) wasn’t defective...it was impacted, more on that later. They kindly told me to kick rocks but let me know they would be happy to sell me a replacement and to give them a call to set that up.At this point all I really want is someone to come out and inspect the window...so I send another email, this time I don’t get a reply. Instead on 28-AUG-20 I get a voicemail from David Meadors and immediately return his call. David proceeds to explain that the window cracks appear to be impact related and are not covered under warranty. I try to explain that there’s nothing that could have hit the window with enough force to crack it and describe the area, but David maintains it’s impact related.So I asked David what kind of force is needed to crack 7/16” thick impact glass. His answer was that someone had to strike it or kick it. When I asked if a bike falling in to it would crack it? His answer was ABSOLUTELY NOT, the window had to have been struck or kicked. After assuring David neither of those things happened his next question was “Well how do you know someone didn’t try and break in to your house and kick the door”?Me: I have security cameras inside and outside of the house.David: You have a camera that points at the area where the door is?Me: Yes, I have a camera pointing directly at my back porch. If someone tried to break in I would know.David was extremely unprofessional. At one point he was yelling in to the phone asking how many doors I’ve kicked in because “he’s kicked in a lot of doors and knows what one looks like” - insinuating that I kicked my own door!David made sure to let me know he was a structural engineer. He also made sure to let me know it’s IMPOSSIBLE that there are faults (not true) in the glass which may have caused it to crack with a lesser impact (like a bike falling over). He made sure to cite his company’s stellar reviews and exceptional reputation. So I let David know, as someone who spent several thousand dollars with Broward Impact, that denying a warranty claim without sending someone to inspect the window wasn’t giving me that stellar service feeling.David’s answer sums up my review: “It doesn’t matter how much money you spent. I know what I know and I’m telling you the damage is impact related and not covered under warranty”.My family didn’t get stellar service, we got a company led by someone who finds more value in insisting he’s right than listening to the literal voice of his customer. If they would have sent someone out and walked through everything with me I probably would have purchased a replacement on the spot. If you ask me now, I wouldn’t recommend them.They do not stand behind their products and did everything they could to avoid a warranty claim, despite the fact that I sent the photos to a structural specialist in Chicago who identified the cracked glass as heat related.

Installation team was very professional, did their work on time, within budget and cleaned up all debris when completed. Windows / completed work had no problem passing City of Coral Springs Inspection.

I called on a Saturday afternoon and promptly received a return phone call. We scheduled an appointment with them for the following week. Jay was friendly and knowledgeable & I received the estimate on time as promised. The installation was performed weeks ahead of schedule, which rarely happens in construction. The installers arrived & we discovered a minor issue with the door on installation day. We contacted the office and they began working on a resolution immediately. Very prompt and efficient service. I highly recommend Broward Impact.

I received quotes from eighteen different companies. Broward Impact was not the cheapest nor the most expensive, however the products they offer and my salesman Jeff Weinstock’s knowledge and flexibility with my timing were impeccable. The install was amazing Charlie and his partner Evert were on time everyday. They made the experience enjoyable because they were clean and precise with every opening in my house. From the minimal stucco repair to caulking. I had minimal dust that they cleaned up at the end of everyday. I was amazed how they did not break one pane of glass on the old windows while removing them. To top it all off Jeff would text and see how things were going and if I needed anything! He also came by to inspect the in progress work and checked on me a couple weeks after to see if there were any issues. I have already and would recommend Broward Impact to anyone in the market for impact windows and doors with quality products and premier service you guys can not be beat! This is a nasty company they are quick to take your money. Installed my windows and door in August 2020 and still waiting for the kitchen window and the bedroom window screen to the replaced. Each time I call I am told that they don’t remember the original complaint yet joe Marshall gave me his cellphone and I sent photos of the problem. This is unjust treatment if I could I would put 0

Updated Review- while my initial review was 5 stars, after having the windows and sliding glass door for just over 2 years, I must downgrade my review. The installation of this product was so bad, that my windows leak (like you have a hose running water) and the company does not stand behind their workmanship or their product. I was told after I was finally able to speak with someone (fifth call after leaving my name and number the other times, with a person, for someone to call me back) and he said that the windows leak because I havent caulked them...do not use this company.

After looking at the reviews I was shocked receiving effortless customer service. Called asking to make an appointment to get a quote on my fathers home and was told that they were just going to measure and send a quote. I ask him if he was going to explain the process and he said no due to the language barrier. I ask if anyone can explain the process in Spanish again he said no. We will just measure and send a quote. Seems to me like they were just to lazy to explain the process to me who speaks English just fine. Disappointed Im not able to use this company since it had such great reviews.

We recently decided to replace window and door openings on our home with impact windows and doors. I had an opportunity to harden all of the openings in my house and the information and suggestions given to me by Broward Impact were far beyond any company that I had contacted. We were given multiple options and the reasons that those options exist. Suggestions were made as to what might be best along with both more expensive and less expensive options. I never felt that they were pressuring us into a contract or pressuring us into a more expensive option. Once decisions were made, the communication was excellent, the installation crew showed up when scheduled and they did exactly what we were told that they would do - and more. A few years ago we started looking for a company to install the windows and doors of our house, there are many companies in the market and we made an appointment with most of them, and all ended in the same, if you sign now we are going to give you a mega discount, The blah blah brandishes all the sellers as long as we sign a contract, but a friend recommended me to the vendor Robert Kovachich and he told me to deal with them, look for where they were and were located 5 minutes from our house, well We said, They are local, when Robert visited us, he was fantastic, a spectacular person, we did not feel that pressure that all the vendors gave us, it was as if a friend come to our house, he was different; we asked him absolutely everything, and everything responded with a smile; a few months passed, and every time I called him he answered me with the same sympathy as always, what we like about Broward Impact Windows and Door is that they have a spectacular family orientation, we met whit the owner of the company Davie Meadors after few hours talking and we signed a contract,, but we did it for the trust they gave us, and we recibe the call from Robert who already saw our windows and doors on the calendar, then the next day two installers arrived, with precision, experience and knowledge, the installers finished everything in two days, in the midst of the pandemic and the fear of infections, they were always with the masks laid and clean, respecting our house 100%.I recommend Broward Impact Windows and Door with complete confidence.

I am very happy with Broward Impact. Everyone from the sales consultant to the installers treated me with respect. They said it would take 3 months to come out because they were very busy and exactly 3 months later they performed the installation. All the windows in the house were replaced and it took a little over a day to do it. The English speaking crew was in-house and very hard working. They didnt even take breaks. I was there the entire time and watched how they installed the windows. They installed them a very secure manner and when done the window area looked beautiful with no damage at all. Very little dust was created and they covered my TV, computer, couches, etc. with plastic. The windows look and operate perfectly. The crew removed my hurricane panel brackets and were nice enough to fill in the holes. I would highly recommend them.

We love our new windows, thanks to Broward Impact Window. Our sales rep, Robert was great, explaining all steps in the jalousie replacement process, alerting us to possible delays due to hurricanes, and returning our calls--even while out of town. He also gave us written copies of all drawings, estimates, and communications throughout our installation. In addition, the installers were prompt, highly skilled, and professional! A lot of reconstruction was necessary due to the age of our house/windows but there was no evidence of it afterward. Our new windows look original to the house, only better!

Very positive experience. From the initial estimate to the install. Any window company is always on the mercy of the manufacturer as far as delivery time goes. So there was a two week delay but that was it and not the fault of Broward Impact. And once I received the call and the install was scheduled I was told Monday thru Thursday for install and it was all done as promised early Thursday followed by inspection. The crew did an excellent job and left the work areas clean. Very minimal work as far as paint touch up is needed. Someone posted here that all positive reviews are fake. Well mine is not, I am simply a 100% satisfied customer. Highly recommend this company. I so want to like them. They did a good job on our install about 2 years ago. However getting help to place a service call with the manufacturer, well it just isnt happening after multiple calls and messages. Had a friend who was going to use them but recommending they go elsewhere after how my request for after sale service has gone. Sad really.

I had Broward Impact install 13 large windows, an impact glass front door w/side light, 2 custom large arched windows above the door, and an impact garage door with a brand new motor. So quiet that my dog cant here it opening or closing anymore. No Screeching! I cant be happier with the attention to detail, workmanship and professionalism they had through the whole install. The installers where very clean, courteous and very professional! It only took 3 days total, including the inspection and we were ready for anything! Pricing is fair & reasonable. My husband and I decided to update our windows to impact and began our search for the prefect company. We had 4 appointments with various companies who did come to our house to give an estimate. After practically begging each company for a written estimate we did finally receive some quotes. We were driving down I-95 and saw Broward Impact Window and Door and decided to stop in and ask about their product. Well, to our delight Nick Santilli, our salesman, showed us all they had to offer. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We scheduled a time for them to come out and measure and then provide an estimate. The estimator was right on time, quick and courteous. Within a day, we had our estimate which was very competitive!!We chose to work with Broward Impact. Nick was great to work with! He was very informative with regard to the permitting process and he sent me suggestions on front door and window options without me even asking - which a really appreciated. He followed up with me from beginning to end. The installation was seamless as was the final inspection. We love our windows and doors and are now ready for hurricane season!I would highly recommend Broward Impact Windows and most certainly recommend working with Nick! Great job!

I wish the company well, but I did not have a pleasant experience with them. They had several undisclosed fees and when I asked for more details on the quote -- like what they charge for labor vs window and the charges for taxes, permitting fees, etc. they would not tell me. (NOTE: after posting this review, they emailed me back with the details I requested). Also, they were not very good with keeping their word. For example, they were supposed to come out on a Friday but never showed up. Then someone else came the following week and said I would have a quote within 1-2 days. When I called them on day 3 with no quote, they said they needed until the next Saturday to give me a quote -- plus their wait times of 12 weeks for install were the longest I came across. Therefore I did not choose this company for my windows but wanted to mention it here for the benefit of other consumers so that they know in advance. If you are not concerned about price/timing, then perhaps this would be a company you would enjoy.Update for owner response: I can appreciate your perspective and that you want to stand up for the business and your employees. But perhaps the right thing to do here would be to recognize fault in order to make improvements and better your business. By denying the truth and omitting relevant facts, you are ignoring missteps. Robert told me he would be out on Friday and then never showed. Regardless if Monday is reasonable timing to you, he still did not show up and did not call to cancel.If you had said, Im sorry to hear about your experience. thank you for your feedback. I will take the appropriate steps to make sure this experience doesnt happen again. Then everyone who reads this will see that you listen and continually improve your business. But when you deny, accuse, and fight with well meaning customers, it looks like you are a difficult person when things go wrong. Customers want to see that when things go wrong (which sometimes that happens), owners take care of them and fix it.

Was very pleased and happy with the results of my new hurricane windows and the installations and even more so with the customer service. I Just got brand new hurricane rated windows and door. The process was smooth. The installation was a success and the service representative Robert Hartz was amazing. He was there to answer any questions and was available through the whole process. After getting 3 estimates based on google and yelp reviews, Im giving Broward Impact Windows and Doors 5 stars after their installation of my 8 windows, 1 door, and 1 french door. Compared to 4 previous companies that did a great job with replacing my roof, air conditioner, fence, and plumbing, Broward Impact is the best company that Ive worked with as a homeowner. Their sales representative Nick Santilli always immediately answered my questions by email/text, whereas the other 2 window/door companies would call me back the next day. I was surprised that the installation of my windows and doors, by Charlie and Joe, only took a day and a half. They installed everything perfectly, caulked all edges with 100% precision, and left me with absolutely nothing to clean up. After installation was complete, I got my windows and doors inspected by a wind mitigation company. Not only will I be saving $1200+/year on my insurance payments, but the inspector commented that he was going to get an estimate from Broward Impact for his own home. If youre thinking about replacing your windows/doors with hurricane impact windows/doors, I fully recommend Broward Impact Windows and Doors. I forgot to mention that they were my cheapest estimate ☺.

Getting the right type of sliding glass doors is an extremely important decision, especially if you live on the beach as we do. The staff at Broward Impact Window was extremely knowledgeable and addressed all of our concerns. David Meadors the owner of the company took the time to come over to our home to take measurements and answer questions. Now thats great customer service, in my opinion the only way to do business. I have received several quotes to get house done with impact windows and doors that were all delivered in less than 24 hours. I’m almost a week after initial contact I still don’t have a quote and sales staff is pushing to get me into the showroom. I’m going with another window company that is committed to customer service as they have shown so far.

I had known nothing about what options are out there but as soon as you walk in you get a hands on approach and feel for these new windows and doors just cause of the nice showroom put together. I went ahead and hired these guys and let me tell you Im glad I did they took their time to do a great if not perfect job. For sure not a fly by night company by any means.

Try another company!!!! Broward Impact Windows/Meadors Construction. Robert Hartz is a very nice guy but after 2 months waiting for the windows/doors to arrive ( we were aware it was taking a while and it was ok) we sent him an e-mail asking if there was any news and if he had a estimate date. Robert responded promptly and gave us a date when the installation was going to start. We took time off from work. 1-2 days before the installation date we called him to confirm the date and he was very honest replying that he had no idea where he got the date from and he had no installation scheduled for us yet. They had told us that with the installation they MAY brake the marble window sill ledge but be prepared because they broke 80% of them. Mike, the installer, did glue it together though. They also broke 1 tile by the sliding door which they had told us that may would happened. At the same day one of the sliding doors was installed I noticed the door edge cap was damaged. I sent a text to Robert Hartz with a picture and he said he would fix it. The next week the installer came over and tried to fix it with caulking and paint which I knew it wouldnt work. So I sent Robert another text with a picture. That same day the supervision Joe Marshall called and told us they would fix it but it would take about 2 months because they had to order it. WE DID NOT PASS THE FIRST INSPECTION because they submitted the wrong documentation (another day we had to miss work for nothing). Madeline Espejo called us 2 times in the following weeks to scheduled the inspection but she called by mistake BOTH TIMES stating that the inspection as for someone else. After a couple of week we called the office and spoke to Madeline to ask when the other inspection would be and she stated that she didnt know because the city has to schedule it. My husband told her it was their fault that we didnt pass inspection. She argued against him putting the blame on the city. We reiterated it was their company that filed the wrong paperwork with the city. They called again to schedule another appointment. We took off work for that day. When the day arrived we learned the appointment was intended for another customer - not us (thus another wasted vacation day). Again, Madeline refused to accept responsibility blaming it on the city. We again reiterated we contracted with them to handle these matters - to which they repeatedly failed. Madeline was very rude and my husband asked her not to call him ever again. A few weeks later Madeline called in the morning to let us know that the inspection was scheduled for that afternoon. My husband told her again not to call him again requesting someone else from the office so we called Robert and scheduled another inspection. We called and told supervisor Joe Marshall that we would not pay the other half until the sliding door cap was fixed and he said that it was a warranty issue because the cap came in damages. We got really mad because that meant that they installed the damage door/cap knowing that it was damaged. Well needless to say that they came in the day of the new inspection with a new cap (which they had told us it would take 2 months), this time instead 1 bent damage, it had 4!!!! My husband decided to pay the rest of the bill even though the sliding door wasnt fix that day. So I call again and sent pictures of the damage. Robert stated he will take care for ii. They scheduled to fix the sliding door today but they didnt show up and havent called us yet.

Very pleased with the impact windows and doors we had installed by Broward Impact Window & Door, Inc. The price was right and the installation went smoothly. The staff was also very helpful and knowledgeable. Most Importantly it past inspection the first time. The inspector even commented about how no short cuts were taken with installation.

Here are the two things you need to know: 1) they showed up when they said they would and 2) they kept their promises.I am very pleased with my experience with Broward Impact. Jorge, my salesman, was helpful throughout all parts of the process. Mike and his install team put the windows in faster than I expected and with very little cleanup needed. I was surprised how little I had to do when they were done. When I ran into a slight problem with a window screen, after my final payment was made, I was afraid that like many Florida businesses Broward would just take my money and run. Instead, Joe M. worked with me to resolve the problem, communicated with me about progress, and followed through to make sure the job was completed to my satisfaction. Given my experience with other businesses in SoFl I would highly recommend.

I wanted to have 2 hurricane impact doors installed. The company wasnt interested. They said the job was too small and they are only interested in doing entire houses.

They pretend other companies need to do the work when the same people do it and the work is terrible. Repeat tries and not even a year later what they said won’t happen does.

Love my impact door,but if you tell me 3-4wks to get the door and it take 8wks. You should let customers know up front it cant take up to 8weeks .

Also discuss thoroughly any potential irregularities your existing door or window opening may present to the install team. Robert K. is an excellent guy with top-notch customer service skills - I really enjoyed talking with him. Their showroom on Tigertail Boulevard borders I-95, so its easy to find, spacious, and has samples of just about any style door or window you desire. Some advice: get started in the early part of the year, because these projects usually have a long lead time, especially after bad storms pass through. Youll want to know youre protected before the season hits!

I had my windows and doors installed about 8 months ago including garage door. There was some confusion and problems as far as permitting goes with the city I live in that was a real pain to deal with that required me running back and forth to city hall and making quite a few phone calls that I felt I should have been compensated for at least a small token from them since I missed work on a couple of occassions. That being said, I was absolutely shocked as to how fast they got the job done with the crew that was sent out. Everything was done correct and looks great to this day. No leaks of any kind and made the house look 100 times better. My personal sales guy was Joseph and he was great. I even got a call from the owner explaining what problems they ran into with my specific city and he was also friendly. Its a lot of money to spend on a project like this but i would do it again and still go with the same company.

Cant get a call back. I went in person and requested a quote I was told 48 hours I will get an e-mail. I have followed up twice and never even gotten a return phone call.

These guys are the best! After been severely scammed by Golden Coast (who bakrupted after getting money in advance), and finding some other IFs, I finally found them. They are very serious, very competent and complete. From drawing to measuring, to installing, inspection, permits, they do it all...I strongly recommend them, after doing 3 jobs with them. Asked for an estimate Thursday October 13th. Was asked to send an email of said window. I did. Called Tuesday October 18th and was told they knew about my email and would call me right back. Did not happen. I called again Friday October 21st and was told they were going to look into it as to why I did not get a response and I would be called right back. Did not happen again. I called again today October 24th and was told I would be called right back. Did not happen again. Would be nice to just hear Sorry we can not help you because I wouldve just moved on and not wasted my time waiting. A shame since all reviews are 5 star.

I am so thankful that I cobtained broward impact windows and doors to do our installations. Mr. Joe Marshall was helpful throughout the whole process, showed up on time to do the measurements, even took extra time with me in the showroom to make sure we got the exact products we wanted. Decided to go with solar ban on our products because we get a lot of sun all day being near the water, so glad we did, what a difference it has made. Also, they use their own installers (Meador construction) and Charlie and Mike were fantastic as well!! They were early everyday and finished before they estimated. Cleaned as they went, no dust and dirt, no broken glass, materials were collected daily. They even weng above and beyond and let our dogs out for us!!Best customer service!! Great products!! They are totally informal, they left me several windows that were very badly installed and they never wanted to respond (they did not close well with the rains it leaked into water) I had to hire another company to fix the bad work they did
