I came here for a blazer to wear to a wedding coming up soon. I expected it to be a lengthy ordeal, with plenty of measuring, try-ons, and the like. From the second I spoke to the saleswoman, she knew exactly where to direct me, and within 30min we had found me a fantastic blazer - a perfect fit, right off the rack.While its true that you can pay a lot less going to a department store, the quality and service here more than justify the added cost. If you know what youre looking for, and you want it done right, this is the place to go.

If youre in the market for fine mens clothing, than look no further. I drove over 3 hours to get to this store having been there several times for shopping trips. Alan, the owner, arranged to have suits and sport jackets at the ready for me to try on for size. He personally helped me with my purchases. His whole team was friendly and also, ready to assist in anyway (e.g. - measuring, searching for inventory, etc.). No pushy salesmanship.Just making sure I was happy with my purchases. Just wish they were closer to where I live in Connecticut but happy to make the occasional trip!Bob C

Alan and Olivia were more than accommodating, they fit 3 men ages 15 to 19 of varing sizes and shapes in well fit stylish suits! Not only were they able to make all my boys happy, they were able to pull it off despite our last minute booking. I would not hesitate to recommend this store to anyone. Thank you for all your help!

I have never wrote a review, but I have been talking to people for years, and have been complameted on the clothes I have worn and still wear. Im not the buyer of time.But I believe that the clothes and the brands and i definitely believe in the the group of people especially Alan and his father whom started the business .And now Im going to choose more clothing. To all his customers isay keep coming back and for the new customers you wont walk away disappointed.

Simply the best place to buy clothing. I came in to get a suit altered that I purchased from Macys, Alan worked with me himself and made me feel at home while I was there. I ended up buying another suit and not only did he give me a great deal but the fit and quality are hands down much better than the suit I purchased from Macys. If your looking to buy your first suit as I was go to Giblees and talk to Alan you wont be disappointed.

Had just arrived back in the area and needed a suit for a funeral. Decided to go with the convenience of renting since I was pressed for time and didn’t have the time to shop for and wait to be fitted and tailored for a new suit. Unfortunately through little fault of Giblee’s the rental got messed up in the mail. Manager Allan personally made sure I was taken care of with a suit that was available onsite and refunded my full purchase. Nice to see a business that stands behind their product these days.

Im normally not every formal and was planning on going to my first ever school dance. I showed the day before the dance and they helped so much. I honestly never thought a stranger could care so much about some high school kid. I would recommend this place to Anyone that is normally not very formal.

I went in March 2019 prior to my wedding in June 2019, Connor/Todd in the suit/tux department were very easy to work with and very knowledgeable. We got a total of 7 custom suites and there were only a few alterations that were needed to be done. I do plan to return for suits in the future.

Excellent service!!! From the beginning all the way through to our wedding day they didnt miss a beat. I Purchased my tuxedo and my groomsman rented. The tailors did such an amazing job on my tuxedo I felt like I was James Bond.. The thing that impressed me the most was the attention to detail, not just for me but for my groomsman. They made sure that all 10 of them looked amazing and that could not have been easy, because my groomsman came in all different shapes and sizes. The gentleman in the tuxedo division were extremely professional and masters of there craft, true artists.. The most important thing was that my wife was vey happy!!!Thank you Giblees!!!!!

My mother passed away and I was in need of a suit on a Friday afternoon for a Sunday funeral. On my way to mens wearhouse I saw giblees fine clothing and I made a u turn and headed directly back to the store. The store manager Ralph took me in and got me completely set up with a beautiful suit, shirts, tie and a real lesson on what it takes to look your best. It was a huge burden for me to worry about getting a suit and Giblees made it so incredibly easy. I am extremely extremely thankfull.Edit: Ralph put 2 of the wrong sized shirts in my bag of the 4 I bought. Small error that could have been bad if I had not noticed. When I went back he had the 2 shirts all pressed and ready for me to wear. So Ill take it down a notch to 4 stars.

Went here for suits for my wedding with my groomsmen. Horrible communication between employees, extremely disorganized management. My fiance was almost in tears because they ordered me and all 6 groomsmen the wrong suit. We purposely went there in advance to avoid problems but only had added stress.

Disappointing experience. Called ahead to make sure the tailor was there and would alter a suit not purchased at their store, confirmed that it would be no problem. Arrived in store and told that the tailor didnt feel like doing it and would rather not. Went down the street to Jos. A. Bank and was measured immediately with no issue.

After some disappointing stops at the chain mens stores/tuxedo rental places, we decided to stop by Giblees. We met Todd, and actually had a normal person-to person experience discussing what would look good not only on me, but with the style of our wedding as envisioned by my wife. We had an issue or two well in advance of the wedding with sizing, but once everything was measured and ordered it was a smooth process, all the way down to fine tuning our cuff-link and shoe selections.For a price consistent with the chains we visited, we got great style and knowledgeable service from people who truly specialize in this type of business, and I felt comfortable throughout the process which was very important for someone who doesnt dress up on a regular basis. Honestly, the thought of renting a tuxedo nauseated me, but with the newer styles we found I was put at ease. The fact that this is not a chain lends itself to a superior customer experience as the staff have a personal stake in the businesss success. Tailors on staff also offered peace of mind if something needed to be altered at the last minute.I have not had purchase experience with their retail offerings, but they have quite the selection of items you wont find in your average department store.

Dont rent wedding tuxedos here. Customer service is horrible, particularly the owner of the shop. They made two errors on the grooms and a groomsmens tuxedo, and when confronted about it afterwards they were extremely rude and not even apologetic. Go buy a suit or something there, but avoid them for any rentals. And definitely avoid the owner of the shop.

This is the place to go!!!! I had the best experience finding a tux for my wedding at Giblees. I was in a pinch because my suit (from somewhere else) was delivered 2 days before my wedding and it didnt fit. I ran to Giblees and they got right to helping me through my emergency. Within a half hour they had me looking great and walking out of the store with a smile and a tux over my shoulder. The store owner Mr. Giblee saw thatthe clerk helping me was having a hard time fitting me and he walked over, sized me upand pulled a beautiful jacket right off the rack and it fit like a glove. My fiance and I had made an appointment a week in advance for a tux fitting and had requested that 3 tuxes be ordered so that I could try them on. When we got there, the person we had made the appointment with was out and the tuxes hadnt arrived. There was no record of our appointment and nobody had notified us that the tuxes hadnt been delivered. My fiance wasted an hour driving here.
