Ive been going to this Savers since it first opened. Its 5 minutes from my house. After the recent remodel, and with covid, its got worse and worse. Filthy. High prices. Self checkouts eith lines 20-deep. The employees are out of their minds and at their wits end. I cant imagine what goes on there behind the scenes that management is negligent about. Its shameful.Yesterday I cleaned out part of my basement and brought a carload to donate. This is a for-profit store so everything that is donated is usually sold at a higher price than most other thrift chains. The two young men working the donation garage needed to go home. One was clearly traumatized, moving slow with a glazed look in the eyes. Nervous. His counterpart was fiesty, impatient, and doing an excellent job of breaking everything I was unloading. Bags of books were dumped all over the floor. Ceramic items smashed. Cussing ensued. Again, these guys needed to be sent home sick for the day. Given a week of paid vacation. A raise. Anything. The receiving area was out of control. Its too bad because we have a basement full of antiques for your store to price gouge like you do with pyrex, designer bags, jewelry, and just about anything that isnt trash from walmart. What does the company do with all that profit?Move cautiously now; raise pay. The workers labor movement is in its larval stage. Your employees wont hesitate to take that store down with them. In fact its already happening.
I REALLY like shopping at Savers. I always find something there I love. Ive been shopping there for years now. My husband turned me on to it. Hes a big thrift shopper. Im disappointed in their pricing lately. The prices they put on most of their items is ridiculous! Because of this, I shop there much less now. If I wanted to pay $10 or $ 15 for a shirt Id shop at Walmart! Its called Savers for a reason. Stop jacking up your prices Savers! I thrift at The Salvation Army a lot more now. Its a little out of the way but its better than NOT saving money at Savers. Sorry Savers
If youve never been to Savers... Pack a lunch. If you took your time to just stroll through, youd be there All Day! More than reasonable prices. Everything is good quality. Lets face, somethings are a steal. I got three pairs of jeans, a nice blouse. $21.00
Very disappointed. We called twice to confirm what we wanted to donate could be taken. We arrive, and are told they cant take most of it. Note that we had rented a uhaul for this. The staff told us that, the front office doesnt know whats going on in back. It was an unpleasant experience and we would not go back. Its their job to get internal communications correct.
Love this place... Great stuff. Everything is arranged in a visually appealing way. Its easy to find whatever category you would like and the prices are amazing. I give this place 5 stars
Like savers. Very.nice.people.......always something to find. And great place olf furn. Are things dont need. Help others
Cool staff, Great stuff, amazing thrifts, good low prices, however a little more expensive compared to Savers....
I love to shop in this place, I always find something good, great management . Thank you :)
Decent stuff. Prices are okay. You can find some good deals. They have a little bit of everything. Housewares, Jewerly, Books, Misc. Grab Bags, Toys, Clothes-woman, men, children, shoes, backpacks, bedding ect.
Well stocked & organized location, but the prices have gotten a little pretentious for a non-consignment resale store.
Out of every savers I’ve been to, this one has the best selection of CDs, DVDs, and Records... hands down! I make a trip here every couple of months.
Typical savers. Well organized! ^-^
Good cheep verity thanks
If you guys thinking about saclve money, this is the best place for that! Of lot very good stuff and ships! Unbelievable
Neat and organized. You might find a treasure, a necessity, or nothing, but thats the nature of it. If youre patient, you find great things at fantastic prices.
Excellent. Needed clothes to wear for a wake. Wonderful prices and great selection
Good thrift store, with tons of cool trinkets and thing, wish it was a bit cleaner though.
Used stuffs with prices as new. Clothings very old with price tags almost the same as if you buy it new.
Prices really too high for what they are! Not worth the trip
The lady at the register was super nice and helpful.
Good as always. Fantastic selection of clothing. Not much furniture though.
This used to be my favorite Savers before Wilmington but the last few trips have been kinda lame. I mean when a $5 genesis sports game is the highlight of your experience, thats pretty sad lol.
I have been in the process of moving so its great to have the donation center so readily available. Today they were really busy and I was behind about 10 cars but the people that work there are so quick and helpful that I wasnt stuck in like for more than 10 minutes! They are great and im so thankful to have them open such convenient hours!!!
I love savers for getting supplies for my repurposed projects!! I always find something unique!!!
Marvelous merchandise excellent price all you need is there grey stuff waiting for you I love myself
Love love love it! My very first savers I had ever gone to. That was many years ago
Tuesdays senior day, I save 30 percent, when I shop! I really like this!
My experience in the savers was exelente, I did find very good things for excellent price, the costumes Its very friendly Im so happy for the moment I spend up there.
The donation center is great.
More checkouts than the Saugus area. Staff was excellent and organized. A 12 to 15 minute walk from Wendys, Burger King, Taco Bell or McDonalds to Savers Endicott Plaza.
You save money & find good stuff .
Love this place for the eclectic selection. And the occasional gem in the mens section.
I didnt find anything today, but very often find great things for very little money.
Lady at the door was very rude about time openings. It’s 65 and older until 11 which google doesn’t state and the lady gave me an attitude when I tried to explain it wasn’t on google and it should be updated because I drove 25 min out of my way to shop here. It’s apparently listed on the website and not goggle so beware.
I now love this place because Im 55 and get a senior discountI can spend 5 minutes there and grab items off hangers without trying them on .I bought a wonderful cardigan for 4 bucks. Thought it was acrylic but actually it was a cotton blendWarm and matched every thing I own
Love savers, to shop and donate. Like a treasure hunt every time.
Good prices, decent C-19 protocol, busy though
Good stuff cheap always find a good bargain
Awful!! Junk at high prices..
If you are frugal and thrifty, you gotta check this place out!
It was so clean and everyone was respectful of others and Im so happy its open again.
Love this location of Savers, so much treasures to uncover.
A little picked through but in good shape. They separated the childrens DVDS from the adult, which my daughter liked. Merchandise looked like it was in good shape.
Terrible management and self entitled employees
This place is great for finding random good old stuff but I come here most of the time specifically for the mens clothing. After shopping here I feel crazy spending money at the stores in the mall. Theres always such a huge selection and you can find everything you need except maybe shoes but often there are great shoes too.I always see moms in there and I can imagine if I had kids Id get everything here.
Always find something at a great price. Staff is very helpful, returns are easy. Love it
Savers comes in handy in a pinch. They use to be cheap, however like every thing else their prices are going up. They sell most everything though. Never know what you will find.
They have everything you could ever want and at great prices. The flip side however is the staff...not all but a good amount of them are rude, unprofessional, ignorant, out of line, s.o.bs. Even complaints made to the management has proven ineffective. Sad, it makes coming here less than pleasurable. Especially when they yell...yes yell at my child. That is not acceptable in any situation. They have talked rude to my 8 year old for merely pushing our carriage that he left to the side while looking at games. When they started tossing items in the carriage and my son spoke up and told staff that it belonged to him for now, they replied with, what do you need it for! Seriously!? Step up your game savers. This might support a good cause however the employees are paid.
It could be better to be honest~
Got to love Savers. Used and over stock womens, children, mens cloths and shoes as well as furniture, household items, shoes, toys, cat and dog bowls. Savers has it all. Been shopping there for over 6 years. Great bargins.
Missed it, but always great stuff... :-)
I enjoy shopping at Savers, i take my time and I find great stuff at such a lower price. They have name brands that I dont like paying for in other stores. I usually Donate, then go shopping. :)
Best shop ever but a little over price
Great for purchase on the cheap. Unfortunately there is no refund policy for items that arent able to be picked up. Bought cheap side table but couldnt transported and still couldnt get a refund.
Excellent
Great place for second-hand finds. Recently they doubled the size of their showroom. I like to stop in from time to time to see whats new.
Absolutely disgusting. My husband went into the mens bathroom, right as the store opened at around 9:10am today, and there was poop on top of the toliet, in the stall on the floor. This means that they dont clean their bathrooms every day, which is appalling. Also, everything is very overpriced and nothing is in order.
Best store ever
Huge thrift store. Clothes and household goods. All for charity
The new manager is a sweetheart and all the girls who work there . its my yreasure spot . always find something amazing really cheap
Savers is wonderful. I hit just right this trip.
Great-- the people there arefantastic. FRIENDLIER THAN SAUGUS.
Highly recommend!!!! Will definitely be back for more great deals.
Savers has everything Im looking for great employees good environment and handicap parking
Great place, super easy loading dock for donations
Big variety of all items. Never know what you will find.
Good store good bargains got a few things trit it friendly
This place is by far the nastiest place i ever had the misfortune to step into. Dirty, disorganized and dont get me started on the bathroom. There was poo on the floor and the seat and the walls. The owner of this store should be ashamed to have a nasty store like this and having employees that clearly dont care. Felt like I would need to visit the hospital after a trip to the restroom here
Great finds, decent prices.
Great place for cheap clothes and house goods. It can take some time to find good items but they are there if you just look.
Great variety of used clothes and houseware and toys
Nice place to shop, very well organized.
Savers in Saugus has WAY better prices on bags, clothing, and scarfs. 100% silk scarves at the Saugus location can be priced anywhere from .99-4.99... where as all 100% silk scarves at Danvers location is 9.99 like WHAT. Not even brand name too.
I love coming here and finding good products at low prices.
I think this location is disorganized and dirty. They need to step it up.Also this is used items and should be priced appropriately,a bit high priced.
Ordinarily I love shopping here for bargains. Stopped by the other day to donate, but they are not accepting anything.
Store is incompetent and managers are afraid of there employees favoritism is across the board. Employees swear and use vulgar language and nothing happens to anyone. Turnover rate is faster then McDonalds
Its a great place for us to find small inexpensive home decorative items to stage the High end antique/Vintage furniture we have up-scaled with chalk Paint New knobs and new upholstery when applicable.. Since I own my own shop going to savers LOL saves me so much time. They carry lamps also another staging item thats demonstrates how a certain piece of furniture can look with different lighting options . If I purchase at Home Goods, Marshalls, Pier One etc it makes me feel uncomfortable . My customers shop these stores also and are seeing the same items I am so rather tacky and not very creative to purchase and stage my shop with them. So I find one of a kind items at Savers are more interesting when viewing the shop .
I love working here and helping out my customers.
Awesome
Good price to buy clothes and items
Not much there, but us pretty organized. Some of the staff seemed super uninterested in being there, but one lady was very helpful.
Great place to donate or buy books at lower prices
Great bargains!!! Lots of toys!!! Home decor too!!! Staff usually polite!!!
Giant store and drop off center. In the Market Basket plaza. Thanks.
They have good stuff some times.
Good clothes for reasonable money
This is where I feel in love with thrift stores.. the you can donate and shop what a deal
I found this place pretty expensive for a thrift shop. Is that just me? Its not a consignment shop so their clothes are donated. I am used to $5 thrift store jeans, not $20, regardless of name brands.
Very clean
I didnt go to Savers!
Best cheap shopping!
I like Savers. There is always something new
Always good.
0 customer service
Has nothing any good any more must be selling it somewhere else sad
Great
