I’ve gotten Christmas Tree’s from Evans Whispering Pines for a stretch of years now. Quality never fails. I went with a Frazier Fir for 2020; it has excellent needle retention using the “Forest Fresh” water additive they sell. The “2020” posted picture is New Year morning with Thanksgiving weekend purchase, and minimal at best needle drop on the skirt. No notable sap when handling. Great country ambience on location that’s like Christmas Tree Farm’s from the old days.

I dont understand why there are bad reviews. My family and I had a great experience. They answered my call even though they werent open and answered every question I had about their trees and prices. They even let us come same day to pick out a tree. They dont open until the weekend after Thanksgiving, but didnt turn us away. They took time with us on arrival and showed us an assortment of trees to choose from. We picked out our tree, they bundled it, and even tied it on our vehicle. We were also allowed to view the gift shop. I am so grateful we came. Thank you for making our day. You have gained a loyal customer.

Tons of trees to pick from! Greeted immediately by a very helpful gentleman who showed us all of the options, tied up our tree, & helped us load it! Bought a beautiful 6 Scotch Pine for under $50! We will go back next year!

Good prices, good selection and great service. COVID took some things away, but its still fun to go to a Christmas tree farm.

This was our 3rd year going to Whispering Pines. Beautiful trees. Lovely little gift shop with unique gifts and ornaments. Absolutely wonderful experience!

They charged us $40 for a tiny Charlie Brown tree. When we asked why it was so much they said all of the cut-your-own trees were $40 regardless and wouldn’t budge on the price. On top of that there are very few cut-your-own options, don’t waste your time.

Had a great experience up until the end when it came time to pay. My wife and I are financially going through a tough time right now. That said, too my fault, I wasnt really paying attention after we got back from the hayride with our tree, because my son was talking to me, obsessing over the big John Deere Tractor that was driving people around. While waiting to get our tree straightened and wrapped up, my wife was asked if she wanted to purchase one of their tree stands. My wife then asked me what I wanted too do, half listening I told her whatever she wanted to do was fine. My wife doesnt do well with even the slightest of pressure of making a decision on the spot and telling someone no, so she said yes too the tree stand. As I stood in line with her waiting to pay, I noticed her acting different and her whole mood changed. Come to find out she was stressing over the 50$ extra the tree stand cost. She said we just dont have the money right now to buy this tree stand too. I told her we havent paid yet, lets just not do the tree stand and we will buy one elsewhere for a 1/4 of the cost. We let the cashier know, so she summoned the owner. The owner comes up and has an attitude with us from the get go. He acted like this was a huge inconvenience too him to remove the little metal piece in the bottom of the tree. The way he acted made my wife feel embarrassed to the point she kept saying too me lets just get it, its fine. The owner starts asking repeatedly, with an attitude, for a copy of the ticket for the tree. All we had was the receipt they wrote up that we were suppose to give at the register and thats all we were given. He kept insisting we had this ticket though and we were never given one. This made him even more frustrated. He was making a scene out of something so simple. In turn making my wife feel embarrassed in front of everyone in the store. He had me show him what tree was ours and said with obvious irritation, This guy decided he doesnt want the tree stand, take it out! Then proceeded to stomp off without another word. After the way he acted and treated us I can assure you we will never be back. I told my wife we would be doing him a favor though. Instead I think we will just go back every year and decide to have the tree stand removed at checkout. Kidding aside, this guy doesnt deserve a dime of anyones money. I will do whatever I can to drive as much business away from him as possible. Thanks for taking what started off such a great day with my family and ruining it in the end for everyone. Honored to be serving our country for people like you good sir.

We have been two years in a row. Great place to get either a pre cut Christmas tree or cut your own. My four year old loved the tractor ride.

Friendly and helpful staff, but dont come here to cut your own tree, unfortunately. The selection is very poor and there hasnt been any pruning or care for the cut-your-own selection in quite some time. There are some nice furs pre-cut though.
