Been doing business here for years but if it’s not guns and gold they low ball you and it feels a bit offensive when they won’t take things that are precious to you that cost a fortune! Other than that they have no competition in this small town so they can do what they want and I think they aren’t aware of the extent of the microchip shortage so you can get a steal on game consoles when they have them

Been to the Goldmine Pawn many times over the years and always had a pleasant experience and bought a good bit of merchandise even tho many things could have been purchased cheaper elsewhere. I traded at Goldmine Pawn because Tom the owner and his employees have been friendly and knowledgeable. However today’s experience was far under par. I was attempting to transfer ownership of a gun my friend no longer wanted, during the process my friend tried to get clarification on a question being asked on the questionnaire from an employee. Another employee mistakenly thought he was asking me and very rudely started a dissertation on how we couldn’t be discussing the forms. I explained we weren’t that he was only asking for clarification. Instead of stopping or apologizing she kept on becoming even more forceful. I asked her to please be more pleasant when she expressed herself. At this the young gentleman waiting on us went off and said they were married and tore up everything. To let a misunderstanding get that far out of hand was unfortunate and immature. The owners were obviously not present. So sorry to lose one of my favorite places!

I have spend lots of money here but will never spend a dime there again. The women there are extremely rude and think they know far more than they do . I will be happy to pay the high prices of Bass Pro shop and be treated better there. For Gods sake go somewhere else and be treated like a valuable customer. These people have a God complex

Had great service, despite how busy they were. Had no problems finding anything I was looking for. Workers were attentive, helpful, and chatty. Will definitely be back when in across the bay again, provided guns and freedom are still legal.

It took forever for my brother to leave with his firearm. In all I spent close to an hour as my brother tried to purchase his firearm. The young boy with black hair behind the counter did not seem to know what he was doing and had to keep getting assistance. Not to mention, he lacked basic firearm knowledge when I spoke with him. The man with reddish hair was perhaps the most helpful and I wish we got him when visiting. Also, I’ve never seen a place photograph a person buying a firearm. Seems like a subtle violation of the 2A if you ask me. I’ve done tons of firearm purchases and never have I spent this long in a store nor have I every been photographed. If things change with my future visits I will adjust my rating but if not I doubt I will purchase from here again.

Staff is rude and unprofessional. Stopped in about 4 months ago and was treated to some surprisingly terrible customer service. Decided to give it another shot thinking maybe it was just a bad day for that girl; unfortunately it seems this behavior is just standard operating procedure.Staff aside, they have a decent handgun and accessories selection. Good place to go if you are looking for a wide selection of holsters and accessories and do not care how the counter treats you.

At least one of the female employees needs to be trained to know the difference between fine and fake diamonds. I needed to borrow enough to pay a bill this past Monday and the lady that waited on me informed me that my 1.25 Carat miners cut diamond ring wasnt real and suggested that maybe I should go sell it to the jeweler that told me that it was ha! I left there very annoyed and went to the competitor down the road and was offered $1000 by the owner as soon as I walked through the door if I was interested in selling it. He looked at it for about 10 seconds and knew the value. I was still not interested in selling but I did borrow exactly what I needed and thanked him for his knowledge and interest. Im not one to complain but she really made me mad. I left there feeling insulted. No customer should ever leave a business feeling that way. How can I walk into one shop and they not even offer the value of the gold in a ring and the other shop offer me $1000 cash if I would sell? Crazy..

Love coming here and seeing the wide selection of firearms. Being a glock blue label dealer is always a plus.

Poorly trained employees. The girl who assessed my AR didnt even know what an upper and lower receiver was. If youre going to buy and sell guns at least take the time to educate your employees.Edit as per response from owner: Nobody is talking about how you dont buy built rifles, I sure am tickled that you remember me but Im simply stating your employee didnt know basic gun terminology. But you should know, you were standing there. Great response though, looks really good and professional that you accuse patrons of lying. Just accept that youre outclassed by other pawn shops in the area in both customer service and employee training.

Quick cheap and easy to ffl all your fire arms especially buds gun shop. Folks were super nice and even gave me some free stickers to put on my gun case. Quite the selection with decent prices. Will being doin business again.
