I walked in the store with a smile, was greeted with anger. The lady got up from behind the counter once i entered and stormed to ensure the loose door was closed. Then another person walked in and she didnt care if it was closed so i closed it for her. Once i got passed all that i tried to make small conversation, that didnt work either. Rude, socially unaware, lacks courtesy.In your establishment I dont work for you...be nice

The greatest thing about The Cellar Door is their hours. Its wonderful being able to grab something at the last minute. Their whisky selection isnt bad, although it is a little light on scotches. They do carry ginger beer for those of you who enjoy it. They are also somewhat cheaper than other package liquor stores in the area.

When Im in the mood to get some adult beverages, I always go here. The prices are very fair, and the staff are always very helpful in answering any questions I may have. I wouldnt go to anywhere else on the Eastern Shore for alcoholic beverages!

Stopped in last night for the first time on a whim. Have driven by this place for years but have never actually been in the place. Great selection of wines and liquor. Bit pricey, though. I bought the cheapest bottle of white wine I could find that wasn’t absolute trash and it was $9.25. Most bottles were selling for $13+. Convenient, but a bit overpriced. Good to support local businesses, though!

Just moved to area. Decided to patronize local shop. 1st trip clerk leaves a 4pack of drinks out of my bag. Went in tonight and the same guy was oddly rude from the outset. Tried to hand me a bag and told me to set it out of the way, which took me a second to clear my hands, and the guy quickly shoots off a I cant just throw it. Then I stated that last week a 4 pack was left off and I wanted to make sure I got it all this trip. He glared at me, shook his head and muttered something like I was personally attacking him. Weirdest experience in customer service Ive experienced in a locally owned store but I will take my business elsewhere.
