As a newcomer to Fly Fishing I cannot give enough thanks to Bob at the Orvis Darien store. He went above and beyond the 1:1 fly fishing course I took with him this past winter at the store. Bob went out of his way to spend time teaching me the many aspects of this great sport. I have had a blast this past spring /summer and Fall fly fishing fresh and saltwater thanks to Bob! I strongly recommend going into the store and speaking with him as he provides great knowledge and is an excellent teacher.

Very helpful and attentive staff, fully stocked with a full fishing section, and a solid sale section with actually sizes, not just XS and XXL. I had a problem with a Barbour jacket I bought and they exchanged it for a different jacket better suited to me without any issues. Their clothes seem to be of very high quality and with JCrew quality going down I may be shopping here from now on.
