Its Best Buy so however you feel about the company in general will likely influence how you feel. The location itself is nice enough. But with online shopping and the prices not being really competitive I dont go here often.Best Buy in general and specifically this store just doesnt feel like the same store I used to shop at all the time 10 to 20 years ago. There was a point when I preferred shopping in person here to online but not anymore.Like many stores I miss how they used to be.
Stopped to buy a new computer but stopped to look at refrigerators as well be in the market soon. A gentleman named Ken came over and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Ended up buying the fridge and having it delivered. Computer we wanted wasnt in stock so we had that shipped to our house, was surprised to see it the very next day. I try to shop locally when I can, but the service at this Best Buy was the same if not better than Ive experienced at smaller places. Will definitely be going back when its time to upgrade the rest of our appliances
The lady who helped me was nice and knew what she was doing. Was even able to pull an item off the shelve for me and had it ready to go when I got back from running to the bank.
Nice store, but many empty shelves. They did not have what I needed, but Sergio, one of the staff members tried his best to help me find exactly what I was looking for. He explained everything well, and went the extra mile to try to help me, even though it wasn’t even his department. I would have given 5 stars but I drove about 33 miles to leave there empty handed. Had it not been for Sergio, I probably would have purchased something that wouldn’t even work for me, and I would have had to bring it back.
Lots if staff, but not available in department areas. A couple were helping customers. Had to go ask for help where 2 groups of 3 were chatting (not work related). Then answer to product availability was mixed, as if being dismissed so they could go back talking.
Expensive but a good range of products (mostly mName brand!) Somethings were out of stock which sucks but understandable people were a huge help.
Was terrible we had paid for a dryer the night before. Went to pick up next day. Said they didnt have it. It was sold. Voiced my disappointment and they laughed at me. Returned my money.Had a Best Buy credit card. I cancelled it. Last time I deal with Best Buy.
Spent 25 minutes waiting for an employee to assist us to get 1 simple item. Tried to kill time playing around on the video games but they werent working. Not a good trip overall.
Went there to purchase a jitterbug phone for my mother in law. the gentleman who I purchased it from there at Best Buy was not real astute at how to set it up and ended up having me leave with it incompletely setup and a dead battery. I was able to recharge up the battery in the car and finish the process myself in the parking lot of a Costco
Buyers beware!!! If your buying a gift from Best Buy make sure you don’t buy it more than 14 days in advance because if it’s broken when your child opens it you won’t be able to return it!! You will have a very expensive piece of garbage and a disappointed child.
Bought a $200 router for my job with company money and couldn’t get time to make it back to the store until the 16th day after it was purchased, literally plugged it in once. They won’t even try to help me out on returning it I might lose my job because it’s $200. Can’t believe they wouldn’t even try to work with me

Bought a new phone. They pointed me in right direction. When I get to the phone desk they hand me my phone after checking i.d. I tell them they are supposed to do data transfer. They seem a little miffed as they were busy. Then they couldnt seem to get transfer figured out. The clerk stayed with it and to my surprise had it done in a timely manner. Her attitude stayed positive through the ordeal. Was nice to have good help. Love the phone. Very pleased.
I ordered a laptop on 10-11-21 and they stated that it would be ready on 10/15/21. When I called to find out a time I was told it could be after 6pm and they close at 8pm. I work at night thats why I wanted it earlier and he stated they only hold for 5 days which is a problem due to I work two jobs and only have Friday mornings off . Will never order online again

Went here to buy a video surveillance system for my home. Since you cant call the Davenport store I called corporate and spoke with the rep. We picked a system out that seemed like it would suit my needs but once I got to the Davenport store I found the one I had picked online and nobody I mean nobody knew how to help me or could give me suggestions on what I could use. Left very upset and confused and ended up going to Walmart and got the same thing. What a waste of time. Employees dont know as much as they think they do. Each one of the employees solution was to look it up on the best buy website. Give me a break! I can do that. In fact thats what I did before I came to the store! What a let down.!
They dont price match even though they claim they do. I showed the sales associate the product I was looking at for $350 cheaper online and he said go there then. SorryTotally fine in all about saving money, but dont claim you price match if you dont
Never buy from the appliance department again, I purchased a dishwasher and after the delivery crew tried three attempts of dropping it off without installing, I finally got them to come out and try the install the same day. The guy said he couldn’t do it with the tools he had, it’d be extra work and more money. I told him that was fine and never heard from him again. After 2 weeks of having a dishwasher not installed and the old one not removed like I paid for, I hired someone else to install and remove. Still haven’t heard from the original install guy and that was 4 months ago. I also complained to the store and the customer service dept with Best Buy about that gentleman and they could really careless about who represents their company. Never buy appliances from Best Buy.
I made at appointment online for 6:20 to get my iPhone screen fixed. At the Geek Squad counter, I waited in line for 10 minutes with 4 people in front of me (which I later learned also had appointments). I finally spoke to an associate who left to check something, then came back to say they were overbooked and would need to reschedule to a different day. Nope. No thanks. I went elsewhere. What a joke

I have bought a lot from Best Buy, a gaming PC and monitor, router, games etc. Never had any issues. The 4 star is because of the new Geek Squad plan they have. It is $200 a year and covers almost all your purchases. Seems great until you find the other facts out. On major purchases after the first year you have to pay a deductable if you make a claim. The plan wont cover anything after 2 years unless you pay an additional fee ($8 a month per item, varies per items). So unless you buy tons of stuff from there its not really worth it. Ill stick to a regular extended warrenty.
Are you serious!?!?...so I cant call the store Wich means I had to drive 23 miles in my large pickup 3 times so your horribley rude installer can figure out what he needs to install my radio.only to be told I had to reschedule for being 10 minutes late..I am a third shiter who had to completely mess my sleep up to make this appointment.And to boot the installer tells me if I would have walked in 3 minutes later I would have been ok when he sat there and watch me getting my daughter in her stroller and getting things out of my truck for 5 minutes.. this was the worst experience I have ever had at a retail store and I will never step foot back in a best buy.. you can think your installer for that cuz I have been a normal customer over the years
This location looks like it’s about to close at any moment. Sometimes bare store which is odd since they closed the IL side one you’d think they’d make sure the Davenport one served the community. I mostly buy amazon or use the best buy website now over driving to the Davenport store to see what I want not on the shelf.
Got mom set up with a new jitterbug phone + an urgent response device. The girls where great explained everything to mom and made her more comfortable with getting the device. I feel better knowing she has help at the touch of a button.No device installed in your home it all runs from your cell phone perfect.
Was greeted promptly and the employee pointed me in the direction I needed to go. Once in that area another employee walked me right to the item that I needed and answered my questions. Very happy with the customer service.
The phone tech guys do a great job explaining things. I was surprised to know that only certain computers in a given brand, like Lenovo, can be ordered.
Took a while to get some help, but when I did they were knowledgeable about the product I was looking for. Friendly and professional, even asked how my day was going.
I had to go back to the store three times over my watch. They sold me the wrong screen protector and then I couldn’t even get off the case it was holding one of the button down and making the watch useless. And the lady I first talk to when I had to bring back my watch cover to get it completely taken off She said I’m getting it to work. (Good for her) I still want the cover taking off because it would work but the button was still completely mashed in the case. The 3rd visit was to get my money all back because they wouldn’t because I didn’t have the card. I had my receipt showing I paid with debit..

Would not exchange unopened item for same item only smaller due to length of time. Still sold return item. In a day when I can buy same items online very easily, I would think exceptions would benefit them
Ive always loved Best Buy cause Im a tech head... And this Best Buy has a njce layout. Several times before it use to take a long time to get assistance from staff but recently theyve gotten quicker or at least pay more attention to giving service to customers...

A good place to go. Staff was helpful. I had a semi bad experience where I bought a open box pc however there diagnostic software doesnt check for bad video cards. Every time a game or video rendering was launched the system would crash. This could of been avoided if they actually checked for that

All in all this is the worst example of a Best Buy in our 2 state area.Attention Employees: Standing around talking while several customers need service because you no longer work on commissions will end up getting your store closed.

Called Best Buy in Davenport three consecutive times. I was placed on hold and waited over 20 minutes each time. No one ever picked up my calls so I finally gave up. Yet another example of corporate America sacrificing customer service and satisfaction to inflate the bottom line.
Nice selection and sometimes you can find stuff on clearance (open box, contents just fine) to save more than you might at Amazon. In my case, it was a GoPro accessory. Theres just something relaxing about browsing all the gadgets in person. Folks were friendly and not all up in your business.
I drove an hour to come to this location to buy a laptop, after walking around looking at the ones on display for nearly an hour I had to go find someone to pull the one I selected, only then suddenly do people start offering to help while the other guy is getting the laptop and then he took off with it to checkout when I wanted to ask him about the specs on that one vs another one. He seemed like I was interrupting him from something and bothered to even be assisting me but when you’re spending 1k+ on something I feel a little bit of help would be nice. The guy at checkout immediately rang up the laptop before I had even made it over to the counter and stared at me as I shuffled my way from the computers to checkout and I apologized (not sure what for) and I told him I wasn’t ready and wanted to look at accessories. At this point I was feeling uncomfortable and after looking for a few minutes decided to just checkout and look on Amazon for accessories. When checking out I was rushed through despite no one being in line behind me and when he asked if I wanted a bag and I said yes, his reaction was the icing on the cake, he rolled his eyes, snatched the bag open and pushed my laptop to me instead of handing me the bag. I know it wasn’t personal but can’t help but take it personally. The entire experience was weird and I’ve haven’t met more unfriendly people even at fast food places. That being said, I have decided to drive another hour back to return the laptop. I know that my business won’t make or break them but I could have just shopped online and had a better experience or I may drive to the Dubuque location and hopefully have someone actually greet me and take a minute of their time to assist me.
I do miss the Best Buy location in Moline, IL. I would visit their weekly for music cds, video games & collecting Toys.

Since when has customer service become a thing of the past? What ever happened to if you bought it here, well make it right? Bought a computer at Best Buy on 11/25, picked up 12/4 at our local store. Had to drive to the store after being disconnected 3 times due to high call volume. There I was informed that since I didnt purchase the Geek Squad warranty, there was nothing they could do for me, aside from giving me the computer companys number (which they are currently closed). Best Buy couldnt even be bothered to ship it back as a courtesy. Shane on them. Shame on this sorry excuse for customer service.

We went to best buy intending to buy two new i phones. After being there for 2 hours working with two different salesmen we found out one of the phones was not the price they said it would be. In fact was twice the amount. needless to say this was very frustrating and we left with no phones.We spoke to the manager but he was not able to help. we will not be returningand, of course after a couple of weeks... no response either.
Best Buy seems to have just gone downhill. Maybe its the small town old school guy in me but its really not for me anymore.
I normally dont take the time to do this, but felt like I owed it to people. I ordered a mini fridge that came damaged. Dented on the sides and scratched.. not just a light scratch, but rather looked like the top had seen the abuse of a brillo pad. I couldnt exchange in store but instead had to call a 800 number because I bought it online (is this even really a thing still? I thought virtually everywhere was more advanced than that at this point.) Anyway, they offer me 3 options I can 1) get a 10% discount (really inadequate) 2) I can try to repackage it in dusty, damaged packaging and send it back and theyll send me another (kinda skeptical about that at this point) or 3) still try to repackage and send it back for a refund (in which case I can go find another one. A process which could take 5 additional days). I am still on hold with them as I type this.. 58 minutes and 27 seconds later. Still no resolution, although I believe this latest agent is trying.. Thank you, Fernando! At this point, I think I should get my full hundred bucks back. My patience has certainly earned it. An easy and pleasant experience could have turned into a 6000 appliance purchase. Now, I probably wont shop here again.

We went to Best Buy in Davenport Iowa. We were trying to buy a new TV. We waited for over 45 minutes for someone to help us. Finally when someone did come they said he would go find another person because it was time for his break. We left and wentTo Costco. I will never walk into Best Buy again.
