Not sure if there was a staff change or what BUT we ordered our pool in May, and chose a package “including” opening and closing the pool. As first timers we didn’t know what we were doing.We got it opened (by googling) and when it came to closing it we called for our appointment which charged us money!! Talk about upset!! Our experience is once they hook you on the sale you are hung out to dry as they don’t tell you ANYTHING!! We were never notified of any spring OR fall-

Very helpful employees! If I had a question that one employee couldnt answer they would find the one that could! If they dont have something in stock they are really good at giving you the best time frame for when they could get it or where else I could find it! We just had our first ever hot tub delivered and setup by the guys from Pleasure Pools & Spas in Davenport. Since it was our first, I had a million questions. They were very informative and was actually glad that I asked so many questions. They stayed until the water was in the tub and tested everything before they left. We had a very pleasant experience from picking it out to the delivery and setup.

We received a pool from here through Make-A-Wish Iowa. We couldn’t be more pleased with the customer service, the set up, and of course the generosity. The employees are always kind and professional. We drive over an hour to get our pool needs and water tested here. We could go somewhere closer, but we’ve been so pleased with Pleasure Pools. This has provided our family with hours of fun and I don’t have to worry about taking my kiddo to a public pool. She can and does swim all day long. Thank you :)

We ordered our pool liner January 9th. Apparently from what Steve, their sales guy said is they ordered it incorrectly. How do you order it incorrectly when we bought the pool from you 6 years ago and you have the records of the liner dimensions?!?! Unfortunately, due to the Derecho we had to replace the liner prematurely. We found out in March when we called to find out when it would arrive, so we could plan the installation. They had to reorder it and said it would be here it 10 weeks, which was 2 days ago. We call today and it still has not even shipped and they do not have a shipping date!! I have a graduation party at my house in 2 weeks and now will not have our pool!! This is not the first issue we have had. We have had numerous issues including issues with the installation of our pool!!! We gave them chance after chance and I am over this company!! After we get our liner we will NEVER do business with them again!!

Mickey Wahl was great! He gave his input on different things, was not pushy. Price was more affordable compared to other companies. Im VERY glad I went with this company.

I had two youmg grandchildren with me when I walked in. I was instantly greeted and the young man got me everything I needed and volunteered to load it into my vehicle! In and out in 5 minutes!

Wonderful service from start to finish on our recent Olhausen pool table purchase. Awesome to work with would highly recommemd.

When we were looking for hot tubs we thought about it and searched both here and at The Great Escape. We had one that we liked here and then we checked at The Great Escape and found one that we liked better (but the salesmen was very rude) but still came back here to just make sure we get the best deal. After talking with Steve about what we were thinking he not only made us feel better about our decision regardless where we bought our hot tub, he answered questions that we had regarding the other hot tub that the salesmen at The Great Escape wouldnt answer. We then asked Steve what they had here that was comparable and he then proceeded to show us a hot tub that we really liked and worked with us to where we feel we received a good deal. He was very personable and made the hole experience a pleasant one. The installers (Jake and ???) were very knowledgeable about caring for the hot tub. They worked very quick and didnt leave until the hot tub was fully functioning and answered any questions that I had. The best part about everything was the experience didnt stop at the sale and installation. Weve had a few questions and concerns since and with a quick email Steve and the staff were quick to answer and resolve my issue. I believe that when buying something that is pretty expensive you should feel good about the decision and not regret it. Not only did we get a great hot tube but we are continuing to receive excellent customer service. I completely recommend buying anything from here and I will continue to do so and send as many people as I can. Thank you again for the great experience and I look forward to many more.

When I got to the store they help us right away. Thank you to Steve that helped me figure out what was in my budget and what was the best for what we wanted. They worked with me for a couple of months deciding on the best one. I went back in there last weekend and pick the one I wanted. Financing was quick and Easy. I got the hot tub installed today. Took about 2hrs total and they explained how the tub and the chemicals work. Would recommend very highly of pleasure pools and spas.

We love our new above ground pool! After months of researching and talking to numerous pool store sales folks, we ended up going with Pleasure Pools. The primary reason they won our business is thanks to our salesman Zach Coiner. Zach was incredibly patient as we started researching the best fit for above-ground pools a few months ago. His responses to my endless questions were prompt and helpful. He was able to build our trust, so we felt reassured that this expensive purchase would be a headache-free experience. My husband’s biggest concern was getting an install crew that didn’t care about their work and would leave us stuck with an expensive mistake. Zach assured us he’d send his “A-Team” for install and I’m thrilled to say that’s exactly what he did!We were so impressed with the “A-Team” installation crew, which included Richie, Brandon, and Jason. They were incredibly efficient and clearly experienced. I was thrilled they seemed to care about doing a great job for us.Kudos, also, to the very kind “pool school” fellas. Kyle was a wonderful teacher, who didn’t mind all my newbie questions, either. He also let me record the instructions for weekly equipment cleaning - thank goodness! - because there is no way I could’ve remembered all that info. the first time out there by myself. Now that I’m used to the basic maintenance, I can say it’s not a big deal, but that’s because I had a great teacher.We’ve enjoyed our new pool for a few weeks and I’m thrilled we “took the plunge”. We had been with QCA Pools ever since we built our pool 15 years ago. QCA messed up our closing really, really bad in 2019 and we went to Pleasure Pools in 2020. No comparison. I thought QCA was good, but compared to Pleasure...well, there is no comparison. Just an indication, I constantly was adding algaecide, chlorine, Ph up or down using QCA chemicals. Switched to Simple Blue at Pleasure and only had 2 chemicals to add weekly. Quality much better. Would have saved a lot of headaches and heartaches and money over the years if I had started with Pleasure!

My husband and I visited several stores when we were in the market to purchase a hot tub. When we stopped at Pleasure Pools, we met with Brian who took the time to explain the different models in detail. He was very personable and easy to work with.His guys worked around our busy schedule for delivery and set up. They didnt leave until the tub was filled, ready to go and had explained everything in detail on how to care for and maintain it.They were helpful when we called after our tub was set up with any questions or concerns we had. They were truly about customer service and follow up rather than just making a sale.Shortly after our purchase, we regretted not getting a different tub we had looked at previously. We contacted Brian to ask about exchanging our hot tub. He was very understanding. He told us that his priority is having happy customers. He and his staff worked with us on the exchange process to upgrade to the hot tub we wanted.Every time we have been in the store, we are acknowledged and greeted by all the staff working. The most expensive and worst experience!

We had them install a Radiant pool this spring with a cartridge filter. We are impressed! The water stayed sparkling clean and maintained warmth way better than expected. Thanks PP&S for a great first season!

After over a year of looking, I found just what I wanted for my sunroom furniture. The selection was great, sales staff helpful & set delivered by very capable people within hours of my order - and I live an hour away! Very satisfied customer here.

Great staff always helpful with trouble shooting your pool or hot tub. They will trouble shoot more then just water issues and tell you what you may need to fix it and you can save yourself some money if your into diy and if its above your skill set they will come and fix it for you at a reasonable price too. A case of shock is only 12.99 for 4 jugs and thats cheaper then Ive found elsewhere thanks guys for all of your help over the past few years.

Whatever you do! Dont buy a pool from these people because when they install your pool they dig up piles of dirt place it in your yard and on top of your grass then leave it for you to clean up(so your grass dont die)after a rainy day! #Lazy

Pleasure Pools and Spas just delivered and installed our new hot tub on Tuesday March 31, 2015. My wife and I were very impressed with the installation process. The two men who delivered the hot tub were very personable, thoughtful and knowledgeable regarding our questions how to take care of our hot tub. They were willing to take as long as it took to make sure we were happy and understood all the features of the hot tub and how to take care of the water. The set up included delivering the hot tub to Annawan at 3 p.m., placing hot tub where we wanted it, installed lift for the cover, attaching the 220 electrical hook up, filling tub with water, putting chemicals in tub to get started, and showing us how to operate tub.The staff on the showroom floor were easy to talk to and provided good information to help us decide which hot tub to purchase. I feel confident Pleasure Pools and Spas will be a good resource to ensure my wife and I enjoy our hot tub experience in the upcoming years.I most definitely recommend anybody wanting to purchase a hot tub to visit Pleasure Pools and Spas.

I live about an hour and a half away but was passing through the area and saw Pleasure Pools & Spas . I stopped in to ask some questions and was pleasantly surprised at how knowledgeable, down to earth and easy to talk to these guys were. In 20 minutes I had more information than I was able to find online or from my local pool stores over the past two years. They gave me great advice on getting my swim spa up and running ( might I add a swim spa I didnt buy from them originally, and they never pressured me to buy anything). They were excited to hear about my project, asked if I bring pictures in next time and even said I could call with any other questions. I will definitely be making the drive to buy anything else I may need in the future from Pleasure Pools & Spas. If youre in the area stop in and check out their showroom, theres this amazing top of the line swim spa setup that you have to check out. An absolute pleasure to deal with.

My Wife and I recently purchased our first pool from Pleasure Pool and Spas and couldnt be more impressed with the service and staff. My experience started with phone conversations with Zach, he was extremely honest, helpful, and knowlegable. This was important to us, as we have never owned a pool. When we decided to stop in to the shop to purchase, I was impressed with the structure of not only Zach, but the entire team. My second time to PP&S was to change some items on the original purchase (pool size, filter, steps, etc) and thats when I realized I will never shop anywhere else on our pool needs. Brian handled all of our changes with ease, took the time (and they were very busy) to explain in detail everything to us, and most importantly did not take advantage of us or pressure us into anything when he could have very easily because I was going to buy a couple of items that we didnt need and might not have worked for our situation. Ive been back a couple more times, and the same experience, this place is top notch and will not let you leave unsatisfied.Now for the install, holy smokes these men were amazing. The original reason I went with PP&S was because of a referral about how great these guys were, and they did not disappoint! On time, honest, hard working, knowledgeable crew! Recently I purchased a used hot tub from a friend, with little knowledge of how to maintain it. Pleasure Pools & Spas did a fantastic job helping me understand how to maintain the tub. Their service crew came out and got the tub running and explained everything to me. Also I took a sample of my water into their store and they tested it for free and got me started on all of the chemicals I needed. I am very happy with this establishment and their customer service. Mike came up to look at my leaky hot tub and told me he thought there may be several leaks and it should be lifted to be sure. When he came back it was obvious that it was beyond repair . Both times he was very pleasant and helpful. I felt like he was being straight with me.Good guy!

My wife and I recently purchased a spa from Pleasure Pools and Spas. The sales people were very helpful and friendly. Our spa was delivered when they said it would be. The fellas who installed it were also very knowledgeable and friendly. After filling it and trying it later that day I found it had a minor issue. They had a tech there the next business morning. (70 mile each way trip) and he got it resolved. Couldnt be more satisfied with Pleasure Pools & Spas. I would recommend it to anyone.

We purchased a new Hot Springs Flair spa last week after stopping in at Pleasure Pool & Spa amazing showroom. Brian Wahl met us at the door with a friendly smile and hello. Showing and explaining the difference in their spas, we decided on the Flair Salt Water. It replaced a 17 yr old Hot Springs that died. Today it got delivered by a 2 man crew Jake Sanders and Cody Liebovitz. They were great! Did a FABULOUS job from beginning to end. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They didn’t leave until the spa was up and running right, plus going through the programs and care. We had a great experience from walking through the door of PP&S to today!! We bought a new set of patio furniture, which include a table with a built in gas fire pit. They delivered the set on schedule, and that evening we attempted to light the fire pit. It would light, but would not stay lit. The next day we called about the issue, and they said they would have a tech come out and look. The tech was supposed to call with the results after checking on the table. When we got home that day, it appeared the furniture had been moved, so we tried to light the fire pit again. It failed again. We called to inquire whether they had been out and they indicated that yes indeed the tech had been there and the fire pit worked fine, although no one called to inform us of that fact. The tech had lit the fire, but did not let it burn for very long to see if it would stay lit. Just to be absolutely sure, we went out and attempted to light the fire again, and as before, it immediately went out. We called again the next day, and went through the same iteration, with the tech apparently coming out and testing, but not calling us, and us coming home, seeing the disturbed furniture, testing the fire pit once again, and again it failing to stay lit. This went on for a week. We finally went to the store to make arrangements to return the furniture set. They said they had found a new one in the warehouse. The one we had purchased was supposed to be the only one they had. We said OK, deliver it next Friday, when I could arrange to be home, well test it together, and verify to everyones satisfaction it works. We set a time of 2pm. After they failed to show at that time, I called. They had a delay with a previous job. They called again a bit later, and said the delivery man was still delayed. At 5:30 pm, after receiving no further updates, and getting ready to go out for the evening, we called and canceled the payment via our credit card company, and called the store and told them to come pick up the furniture.So, basically their technical service person failed twice to repair the fire pit, while also failing to communicate with us about his visits or his supposed results. Then they failed to keep an appointment, scheduled well in advance, to replace the defective item, and once again failed to contact us about the delay, or make some kind of followup attempt to remedy the situation.I would not recommend them to anyone. I will no longer do any business with them. Be wary of any promises they make, as we found they do not keep them.

Spent 52,000.00 on a pool Concrete n lots of pool n deck furniture. When the pool was opened on 5/6/17 there was 2 holes in the liner from end caps on the steps. Because of this..the entire shallow end drained out completely. When the call was made to them...they didnt stand behind their work at all. They said they would fix it but at an additional cost. The pictures that were sent to them clearly show fault with the installation. Please shop around when having an in ground pool put in. I know central pool is great with customer service...live n learn

So I came in today to get my chemicals tested because I dont understand the strips I got with my tub. The gentleman in back walked me through everything and pointed me in the right direction. Having problems with a liner install.Installer showed up at 2:30 were here less than 2 hrs .Pool could have been used sooner if i chose not to have new liner.. Now pool is out of its track.I contacted store with asked to send pictures they said I would receive call back..got an email back blaming me my pool has a hard hottom and concrete is sparkling clean it has never seen daylight since day it was installed ..saying installers told me,They never spoke to me not even 1 time even when i walked out to watch when they finished didnt even say a word just left. They struggled to put liner in after not being laid out very long on a cool day.. There is also a clear dent the size of a shoe right where track is out..btw my pool did not settle it is still level we checked all sections went corner to corner over two sections each time and shot a laser over the pool to double check...They happily take your money but if you have a problem you dont even rate a phone call.

This place is the best! We bought a house with a pool and knew basically nothing when we started. I have had nothing but good experiences in my multiple trips there with lots of questions. Ive never been in the store and met an unkind or unhelpful person. They always continue to surprise me with their customer service and helpful attitudes...not something that is easy to find at times. They test my pool water for free and let me know exactly what I need to add. From service to supplies they have it all. Theyre also open on Sundays, which is a definite plus too.

We just bought a house that had a hot tub and we had no idea where to start with taking care of it. Took a broken part and a water sample in, and come to find out, the water was so acidic that we couldnt even get in it safely. The guys here have been so helpful and willing to help us figure out how to fix the problem considering we have no knowledge at all about how to take care of the tub. I cant thank them enough for all their generosity and willingness to help! I HIGHLY reccomend Pleasure Pools and Spas for all of your hot tub needs! Thanks again!!
