I love this place! Its a little grocery store with a liquor store connected. The workers were nice and happy. Its like one of those small-town Mom and Pops stores where people know each other. I personally got the Titos with the cute little sweater and this little value pack with 15 shots in it for right around $10.

Nasty! Afraid to shop...not clean...had a terrible smell...meat was outdated or expired. I did not buy anything...nope.Never...

Im not sure what is going on at this store. I dont live in town, and its been a year or two since I was last here. This is a medium size full service grocery store ( or at least it was in the past) yet time the shelves and coolers were half empty (many coolers were completely empty), and there was a very small selection of brands and of items within the brands. As an example, the entire bread selection ( including buns) takes up about a 4 foot wide by 6 foot tall section of the store. The fresh vegetable section was also very small,, and the bag of yellow onions (99 cents a lb) contained some that looked blackened and half rotten. The two staff on duty were friendly and efficient in checking me out.

Because Ridge view is awesome I have a fondness of this place!

I love the workers here, you get to be on a first name basis if youre a regular and theyre all super sweet.

Standard little town grocery store, nothing special other than open a little later.

The employees are very friendly they will help you find what you need or tell where they think you came possibly find it even if it is another store because they do not have what you need. That is what I call employees being helpful to the local community.

Yes, it is a little over priced but you pay for convenience. Great night and weekend staff, not sure about day shift. Never usually there until evenings. Saves time when you only need to pick a couple things up.

Small selection of name brands and generic food stuff. Good prices and the attached liquor store has a wide variety of spirits.

This place is great. Ive always loved slagles. I would go here over any other grocery store. Its great for quick trips, they have a great selection. It is a little pricier than hy-vee and wal mart, but its a smaller family owned business, thats been around since before I was born. I highly recommend slagles, especially if you need bread, they usually have a huge selection of loaves that are about to expire for 99 cents, and you cant beat that!
