I felt Ed is a best customer service that I love talking to him and he’s actually helping me around the shop one time. I love this place because they have a lot of Anime, Video games and more. I love the weird soda flavors and they even got some snacks too. So Yummy!😁Ed is also working for the Owner since he doesn’t work in the store he owns because he’s a luxurious guy. I haven’t met the owner in person or talked to him on the phone.

Today is the 4th of July and we showed up 30 minutes before they closed. My daughter is new to the comic world and Eddie helped by explaining how everything works. He was very nice and knowledgeable. Stop by you will be satisfied. Thanks Eddie.

Was looking forward to going to this place on a bright Thursday morning. It was a bit of a hike since we came from Miami. We arrived at 10:15am, and to our disappointment the store was closed, despite the sign saying that its open 7 days a week from 10am - 8pm. Stores phone number seems to be connected to a fax machine. We waited another 25 minutes to no avail. Id suggest calling ahead before going... Or just going to Tates.

The store has a lot of space and books and yet almost none of what I was looking for, also the “dollar” boxes just had comics that they had no space to put on display (even though the place is massive) for over 20 bucks.This place is way overpriced and I’d recommend to people to go anywhere else but here.

WOW!I was VERY Impressed on how rude a person could be for NO reason. Owning a skate shop I deal with questions about a persons hobby everyday. I have never been spoken to with such disrespect or spoke to one of my own customers the way I was spoken to. Making someone feel unwelcome and being too cool (laughable) for their questions, is NOT alright! If a grown man that does not know how to skate asks me what the metal thing that holds wheels are called?...I TELL THEM! I do not EMBARRASS THEM IN-FRONT OF CUSTOMERS!!!! Nice comic shop for this interested in graphic novels, They also have a variety of Anime merch and mangas as well. Highly recommend.

I walked in and was immediately dismissed because I had a bag. The gentleman wasn’t rude but lost a potential sale because I couldn’t browse. Other than that, from what I saw from the front door, I guess it looked ok…

Went here today to buy some manga— the store is h u g e lots of comics and figures. the figures are a bit pricy. they had a good manga selection and i found a few volumes i was looking for. if it wasn’t a bit of a drive from my house i’d come more often.

I had a good experience when coming to this comic book store! The outside makes it look small but dang, the store itself is big, clean and spacious on the inside! Service was curt and nice and knew what he was doing when I had things to ask! Inventory was just rad, comics are everywhere and those statues are fricken stellar, whether they be big or small! I didnt get anything but it was just fun walking around and browsing some! Definitely a fun great spot to visit and shop in, I aint got no complaints!

I went in looking for gundam models and their prices are awful. They had kits that should only be about $20 listed for $70. I highly suggest buying model kits literally any where else.

Fantastic place to shop for all your collectables and memorabilia. I love the owners mindset in keeping everything in person and staying away from online shopping. It really gives you the old comic book store feel that seems to be on-exiatant anymore. Hope you guys keep up the great work and flourish, because we need places like this in the community!

Horrible customer experience. I entered the store with my 4 year old son to buy him some collectibles & the guy behind the counter gave a cold greeting as he was entertained with another male. Shortly after, he told me to leave my purse behind the counter as he cited store policy. So so sad that he would require that of us or even anyone. Keep in mind that others were inside the store with purses on. Profiled? Not sure, but why to us? I would rather take a longer drive than to spend my money at this location.

We went here for an appearance by Jason David Frank. The regular staff was friendly but a bit overzealous (telling people where to stand, giving directions, volume control). Lots of nice comics and display pieces.

Great comics, I like it but theyre missing some comics such as jjk which makes sense since its kinda new but its really great there, so much cool stuff there that I got indecisive and had no idea what to do

Love this store. Huge selection of comics and action figures. Eddie was great, I was looking for some trading card protectors, but didnt have what I was looking for. On my way out he offered me some from behind the counter and had a great conversation about the industry. Ended up grabbing a TMNT figure because of his customer service 🤙🏼

Today’s haul! Isn’t it precious!? I’ve been coming to this store for 3 years now between their locations in Lauderhill and Davie, and I can say I’ve never been disappointed. Their inventory is really good and diverse, their staff is super nice and knowledgeable (Eddie is a riot). Would definitely recommend anyone to stop by and get their geek fix over here. Can’t wait to see what my next hauls like. 👍🏽

Chill place with lots of board games, comics, and aestethics.

I am disabled and the clerk helped me a lot. He got the books I wanted. Then waited, stood by the door, held it open for me. I went to my car, drove up to the entrance and he handed me my paid merchandise. He went above and beyond. I was very happy with my experience. Thank you PPF. I will be back and recommend you guys.

Nice little shop, seems to mostly focus on comics/manga and collectibles. Also had what looked like a good selection of miniatures and models, and a long wall of board games. They have dice and mats and books for the major RPGs, but I didnt see much Warhammer. Had a good vibe.

Owner seem genuine and well knowledgeable about his business. The soda pop drinks are awesome. I wanna try everyone one day. Im at three so far, all different types of quirky soda pop names.

One of the rudest people ive ever met. I had 3 bad experiences. I was looking at one of the comics and the owner rudly said i know youre not looking at my comics without buying it right! I was really going to buy it but i just left it there and bought it online. I like to support local business but in this case im better off buying online. Or better yet go to tates comic book store. Way more friendlier staff. Another incident i had there was i asked for a certain comic book and they began to laugh saying i was dumb to ask fpr that comic because its rare. I dont know much about comics. I was looking for a comic for a gift. Wont be going back.

Ive come to PPF comics for several years. I was a customer of their Lauderhill store before it was merged with the Davie store. Their selection of board games is incredible, they cater to all comic book and graphic novel enthusiasts. If they dont have it, they can order it for you.

Though they have a great selection, they mark up their prices on Day 1 of release. The manager was explaining to me as to why they mark up prices so quickly but from a consumers/customer stand point, I cant just agree with it. What is the point of displaying a $3.99-4.99 cover price for a variant if its just going to be marked up literally on the same exact day its released?Only giving a 3 star just because they do have a large selection of comics. Just not fond of the super quick mark up prices.

It’s got a little bit of everything, me and my friend visit this comic store once a month on average even if it’s a bit out of the way for us. They take care of everyone and they’re willing to grow a one on one relationship with you that you won’t get at other stores.

Contacted them if they carried a specific product. Counter person couldnt be bothered to go look and just said no. I happened to stop by later that looking for something else, and saw what I had asked about, within clear view of the front counter.Location used to be a lot better.

I go here for the Gundam and they have a really good collection. Half the store is for comic books and the other half is.... Other stuff. Cool place.

I cant say I had any bad customer service. What I can say is that the pricing is horrendous compared to other shops. Youd do better to go to Tates, Korka, Gauntlet, Phils comics. All of those are far more inviting than this store with reasonable prices. The guy must spend half his day on e-bay looking at the buy it nows before new books come out.

The guy that works there (The big dude with the tattoos) knows his stuff. He doesnt just try to sell you stuff to make a quick buck he is very honest and takes the time to talk to you . Hes super friendly and I have been to a few stores in the area. I met the owner Mark who hangs out in the stores, which was really cool too!

DO NOT SHOP HERE. My boyfriend and I went into this shop today excited to check it out, as we had never been before. We browsed the selection, and after seeing a 1/4 scale comic book character statue without a price tag, my boyfriend went to ask the employee/owner what the price of the item was. After being informed of the $600-2000 price range my boyfriend responded “Oh, wow.” To which the employee/owner asked him “How much did you think it was?” My boyfriend responded to his question with “I don’t know, $200.” This response sent the employee/owner into a full-fledged rant where he berated my boyfriend about not having any idea about the pricing of specialty comic book items. After I suggested leaving to my boyfriend by saying “Hey, are you ready to head out?” the employee/owner responded “Oh, now she’s getting all offended, everyone is so sensitive now.” I said “I’m not offended, we just have things we need to do.” He proceeded to continue his rant and ended it by saying “I just think it’s really funny that at 25 years old you don’t have any idea about pricing, that baffles me.” After that remark we left. We will never be returning, and I will advise all friends/family that are interested in comics to never patronize this establishment. This experience was a genuine nightmare. I’ll be surprised if this place can remain open with customer service practices like that.

Always an absolutely brilliant experience. Every time I need anything comic, statue, or manga related I go there first. The manager knows what hes talking about, always recommends the best story lines to get you engaged in a line. Theyre constantly improving the store by re-organizing the layout and the items for ease of use for everyone. Great stuff man

My dad, little sister, and I all come to this store. I like looking at comics and they are organized very well. My sister likes reading manga and always finds something on her list. My dad likes playing board games so he looks at those at the left wall. There is always something for every nerd. The staff is also always very helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable about games, comics, etc.

Great staff, amazing selection. My brother has been taking my son here for the past 8 years. They are so helpful! They have a free membership and have all the materials ready for them when they arrive. They have always been able to answer any questions I have had and if, on the rare occasion they have not had it, have ordered it. Am sad they closed the Lauderdale location but Iove them so much will visit them at their Davie location instead of visiting a different store that is closer. They have everything at the best prices, love these guys!

After 8 years of collecting comics, I took a break. I decided one day to go to PPF with my son and it was like I never left the comic world. Chris, the dude who runs it, was super helpful, told me what I needed and helped out my son who wanted cartoon comics. Was able to learn about some history and overall had a good time. Would have stayed longer but, will definitely being going back again soon. P.S hes got some really sick tattoos

Tried doing friendly business with them and whoever was on the line, yelled at me for trying to sell them something (which I was not) and hung up on me TWICE! Anyone that acts that way to someone trying to cross promote both businesses is simply not worth the time.
