Came out of state to finish my open water certification and found this shop and so thankful I did. The staff was so helpful and kind from the moment I inquired about the class. The shop, the instructors, and the experience made it all worth it and I cant wait until my next visit.

My daughter (13) and I got our PADI Open Water certification at Divers Cove and had a really good time. Donovan (Instructor) and Scott (Divemaster) were great, friendly, patient and flexible. Tom at the shop was very helpful giving us advice on which diving gears to get for the certification. Natalee (Owner) made it very easy to exchange our masks if they didn’t fit properly since we had purchased our equipment at the shop.I am looking forward to getting our advanced open water certification at Divers Cove.

Great experience obtaining PADI open water certification through Divers Cove. Instructor Donovan and dive master Scott were patient, professional, and overall did an amazing job in preparing you as an open water diver.

Really terrible service extremely rude if you go there plan on spending the day there and getting nothing done! The guy just doesn’t stop talking! The wife is extremely rude! There prices are double compared to divers direct!

Amazing experience getting diving certified here--and if you happen to get Donovan and/or Pat as your instructor team, count yourself lucky. They (and the other staff) are very motivational and great teachers to make you feel beyond comfortable in the water.

I spent the weekend with my parents in Plantation, so I was not close to my go to Pompano Dive Center (my go-to dive shop).The Divers Cove staff greeted me as I walked in with the tank I needed filled. I browsed the store as they filled my tank. Divers Cove has a decent selection of gear.The new owners made the shop look much better. The gear displays are simple, but sharp. They did a great job.My tank was filled after a few minutes, I paid my $6 and I was out the door.

My favorite dive shop with talented staff, quality dive gear and a lot of fun events! I have received all of my certifications here and so have my two kids. We’ve worked with several different instructors and have had good experiences with them all. One of my transmitters stopped working after a few dives and they handled the return and replacement for me. I’ve done many boat and beach dives organized by the shop. I went on my first live aboard trip with them last year and it was amazing! The food was fantastic and the diving was wonderful. If you are new to diving or a long time diver this is the shop for you!

Broke my gear said it was my fault parts were missing. I brought my regulator in for service because I have heard nothing but great things about the shop. This was the first time my gear was ever serviced btw. Got a call that they cant fix my air control because its missing parts and they dont have them. (I used my gear on Friday and brought it in on sunday) so someone took my air control apart and dropped misplaced what ever my part and they said it was missing. Heres the thing the part they said was missing was my diaphragm cover. You can see if its not there because the diaphragm is bright blue and the cover is white. So how does the tech at the dive shop not notice this and take the regulator apart only to crack the screen that was over it. I would never bring anything here again and for all of you take a picture of your stuff before you drop it off. Now where i had a small problem i am unable to dive thanks to divers cove

Yesterday was a really enjoyable fun night dive. Mostly because of Tom, I really not say this because he is my friend...I am sure the rest of the divers feel the same .Looking forward to more dives like that.

My son lives in San Francisco and he was planning a trip to Australia where he wanted to scuba dive so he wanted to get certified while he had a short stay back home in Davie over the Thanksgiving holiday. I havent scuba dived since I was a teenager so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to get re-certified, and do it with my son. Jeff and his staff were so accommodating to provide us a private pool lesson and then experience the two days of four open water dives with Chris the weekend after Thanksgiving. Luckily the pool was warm as was the weather. Chris was a great teacher and was fun to work and dive with. He was always eager to offer advice and suggestions during our open water dives. We had a great time and look forward to many great dive trips. Its nice to have them around the corner to call upon them for equipment and advice. Thanks to Jeff and his wife and staff for a fun experience.

Ive been going to Divers cove for years. They have only gotten better with the new owners. Jeff and Natalee are extremely nice people and practice the highest professionalism around. Im proud to spend my money there. They are the best. They sell top quality gear and at a reasonable rate and also have really good instructors. Their dive charters are fun and you will meet cool people buying and diving out of that shop.

This is a great scuba shop! I got my certification from them seven years ago and have been using the shop ever since. They provide personalized service, very knowledgeable staff, quick turn-around on repairs and equipment maintenance, and fair prices. They also sponsor many trips from local shore dives to dives in the Keys and up to Jupiter, as well as international trips to resorts and live-a-boards. Their trips are very well run - with Divers Cove staff going on each trip things run smoothly.

I was on Christmas vacation for a little over a week, and the only place that was able to accommodate me was Diver’s Cove. Not only that, but it was my first time diving. I needed to get my certification, equipment, and dives taken care of, and knew nothing about the process.Natalee, Jeff, Chris, and Abby were amazing! They were able to schedule all of my training as well as dives. They made sure that I was comfortable the entire time, and never pressured me to buy a bunch of unnecessary stuff.The training was great. I felt safe and in control the entire time, and my checkout dives were an amazing experience as well.I have nothing to compare this experience to, but all of the great people at Diver’s Cove set the bar incredibly high going forward. The staff were friendly, experienced, helpful, and professional. Renting dive equipment was a simple and quick affair. The equipment was in excellent condition and performed flawlessly. Needless to say I will be returning for any and all dive rentals.

Great shop with wonderful employees that really know their products. I had been looking for a mask that fit properly for some time and Natalee helped me with some suggestions and patiently helped me try on several different masks. My first time at Divers Cove I was met at my car to assist me with my tanks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I came back a week later to pick up my tanks, I was a bit hesitant because they were not all labeled, but I recognized them and I’m confident they know what they are doing and they know how to recognize their customers tanks.The associate made sure to explain to me their punch card system, and their group dives. They helped me back out To my car with my tanks as well.Overall very happy with this small business and I will continue to support it!

Went in to ask for help looking for a product and the woman working was incredibly rude and not helpful, taking our business elsewhere.Regarding the response below, the woman was dismissive when we walked in and barely gave us any attention. The visiting customer was more helpful than the store staff. Found a great location near Aruba’s on the beach and the staff was wonderfully helpful.

Not every dive shop has to be on or near the water to be great, and Divers Cove is proof positive. Jeff and Natalee are head first every day in the shop, not absentee owners. The place is stocked with only quality gear and accessories. I dive for work and pleasure, so its critical mass I have an experienced set of hands service my rigs. Im not gonna risk my tear downs and rebuilds to some part time kid. Jeff does all my rig services, I trust him implicitly. The air fill machine is the cleanest anywhere Ive used, and when you dive 3-4 times a week all year, you need clean air brotha.You cant cut corners with quality and safety, dont even try. Just go to Divers Cove for all your dive needs and get pros in your corner.I can go pretty much anywhere for my dive needs, I choose Divers Cove

We highly recommend Divers Cove. Our time is critical on work-related dive trips in south Florida. On a recent trip to Ft. Lauderdale, we arranged to rent and refill tanks with Divers Cove because their prices were lower and their shop is open later than other shops in the area. Our work truck broke down, and we didn’t have a vehicle large enough to transport a dozen tanks per day all week. When we explained our situation to Jeff Randy, he was super friendly and eager to help. Divers Cove delivered tanks to our boat launch site and exchanged our empty tanks each day – talk about excellent customer service! Thanks to Jeff we did not lose a single day of work. When our truck was finally repaired, we stopped by the shop to return tanks and thank the staff. The Divers Cove shop was clean, well-organized, and stocked with a great selection of high-quality, reasonably-priced gear. The staff at Divers Cove were friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable. We look forward to working with Jeff and his team again.

Great selection of gear in this shop and the staff is pretty helpful....but....way overpriced.My biggest issue though, is that I dropped off a tank to fill and I asked for 36%, what I picked up was 32% and only at 2650 psi. I did test it in the shop but did not gauge it, took it anyway as I didn’t specifically need 36 in the immediate future.Good thing I didn’t actually have a dive plan that called for 36 or actually needed a full tank worth of air.

Just completed my Open Water Diver course through this shop and it was awesome! I highly recommend checking this place out if you are thinking about getting SCUBA certified. The lead instructor, Brian could not have been any better! He was extremely professional, highly knowledgeable, and you can tell he has a passion for diving. The dive master Harvey, also known as Q, was always right there helping Brian out and he too was extremely knowledgeable and helpful for us students. Safety was the number one priority for both Brian and Q, and the two of them made sure the entire class was well versed in all of our skills in the pool prior to our open water dives. Again, If you have been thinking about getting SCUBA Certified, I highly recommend giving this place a call, youll really enjoy the course through Divers Cove!

Owner Jeff R is simply fantastic! I worked with him several times and bought gear from him through a scuba shop in Phoenix when I lived there. I recently moved to Miami, and called the old dive shop in Phoenix for a referral to a shop in Florida. I was really excited to find out Jeff had moved to Florida and opened a new dive shop! It is a 50-minute drive for me, but I will happily drive that far to buy gear, get training, and get my equipment serviced by someone I know is trustworthy and great to deal with. I can’t recommend Divers Cove enough! Hope to see you on a group trip someday!

Divers Cove is a great shop. It was my first time visiting there to buy scuba gear and the staff was really helpful. They were patient enough to hear what I wanted for my diving equipment. Even though they do not have a wide selection of products inside the store, they are able to order anything.They definitely will have my service for a while!!!

I have been looking at several dive shops in the Ft lauderale/Pompano Beach area for my first purchase of a dive set up. In all of the shops I have visited, Divers Cove has been the most patient, attentive and informative. Mike has explained several different computer, BC and regulator options and was kind enough to allow us to dive on two regulators we were considering. Divers Cove also had the best price on the package we chose.We also took our open water and are taking advanced open water from them. This is a great full service no pressure no hassle shop which I highly recommend.

We just finished our PADI open water certifications today and had the most amazing time with Divers Cove! Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. The owners are very friendly, and made us feel welcomed in their shop from the moment we walked in. We had one of their instructors, Mike, when we did our pool dives, and then Brian for our lake dive / ocean dive. I cannot say enough good things about them. They were extremely knowledgable and worked with us at our own pace.I strongly recommend anyone who is looking to get certified to go check out Divers Cove. They will relieve any worries you may have before hand.

Recently completed my open water course through divers cove. The shop has a great friendly atmosphere and very knowledgeable and helpful customer service. Staff is amazing, the class was amazing, and I do have to say that I am definitely looking forward to making this place my one stop shop for all my diving needs.

Highly recommended. I can honestly recommend without any reservations. Great staff, great service, and great support. I recently completed my PADI open water certification and enriched air diver courses with them and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. I wanted to certify with my own gear and they walked me (patiently) thru the entire process of selecting all my gear as well as the set up. Prices are hard to beat as well and competitive with the best deals you would find on line. Great instructors. I felt confident the whole way thru. Dont go anywhere else.

It is under new ownership and the staff is very friendly. I needed an reel for a dive and the staff gave me one of theirs to use since they were out of stock! Also a quick turn around on having my equipment serviced.

We have been renting from Divers Cove already from the previous owner MIke and then Jeff when he took over for our business - non-scuba related. Did our fills there, visuals and hydro. Today all of a sudden they cant rent anymore because of some insurance thing they now face. Well glad other scuba shops must not have these issues. Its a shame Jeff was always very halpful and friendly . My partner did not get the same friendly treatment from whatever lady there was. If they have changes in their business that impact customers how about sending people an email ? Obviously we have been in the system for years. We rent scuba tanks all across the US and internationaly and the most we are asked is to sign a non-scuba waiver. Glad we found a place up the road, very friendly, very helpful.

I cannot begin to describe what a wonderful experience it was to deal with this professional dive shop.The staff is very friendly and professional. They are not out there trying to sell you equipment or being deceptive about what you really need to get started. My two teenagers became Padi Certified at Divers Cove and the dive shops concerns where making sure my children where safe and would remain safe after the course was over by making sure the understood everything. Tommie their dive instructor would have me call him for updates, he was even kind enough to take pictures of them diving. Mike, the store owner was always so pleasant and helpful. Overall wonderful experience. Will me going back for more advanced classes

Do it!I wanted to start off my scuba certifications with the PADI open water diver certification but winters in NYC are brutal and I was looking to find a dive school in Florida. I am so happy that I came across this shop! Jeff, Natalee and Abby are few of the most wonderful people I have come across. Jeff is a wonderful teacher and helps you through all the questions you have and has completed thousands (?) of dives. As for the certification itself - we went to a pool (a good one) near the shop and got comfortable with the skills required for the PADI certification. We then went to a lake followed by ocean dives which were pretty beautiful!I had tonnes of questions about the equipment in the shop and other course and Natalee was super patient with me while explaining the things in the best possible way. All in all, Im going to be back super soon!Thank you Jeff, Natalee and Abby!:)

Poor service, poor attitude. Failed to properly service gear after multiple visits and purchasing new items and parts ($280). Refunded me for $30. Obviously no interest in customer service or retention based on his statements to me: Youre pissed off and its obvious Ive lost your business. I can live with that Next time, bring the gear in for me to service, but thats not going to happen since youre never coming back here. - Mike, the ownerI have been using Divers Cove to service my gear for the past year and a half. In June of 2016, I brought in my gear to be serviced and identified two issues I was having: 1) my BCD was auto-inflating (some issue with the valve on the power inflator not closing properly), and 2) my ABS aqualung octo was consistently free flowing. They could not figure out what the issue was with the octo and ordered parts from aqualung to hopefully solve the issue. All other gear they serviced and returned to me.Two weeks later I had to bring my BCD back in because it was still auto-inflating. They replaced the low pressure inflator and gave it back to me. At this time the parts for the octo had not yet arrived. I was leaving for Belize the next week for research diving work and needed a working octo. I decided to purchase a new octo from them.Arrived in Belize and was still having the same issues with both the BCD and the brand new octo. The issues were manageable but annoying. After returning from Belize I continued having issues but continued to dive with the gear. In hindsight I should have took the gear in then. It finally got to the point that my octo was free flowing uncontrollably and was forcing me to surface and end dives early.At this point I decided to take my gear to another shop because I was tired of Divers Cove failing to fix the problem. I took my gear to Sea Dreams and they fixed the issue with my octo in 10 MINUTES at NO CHARGE! The pressure from my first stage was too high (160) and they adjusted it 140 (recommended is 130-150). And then they rebuilt the auto-inflator on my BCD for $20. The gear has worked great since then.So, I spent $280 in service and parts at Divers Cove, and neither of the issues that I had originally brought the gear in for had been fixed. I took all of my service receipts into Divers Cove today and explained all of this. I conveyed my frustration in a calm but direct attitude. Mike, the owner, explained to me that when a first stage gets serviced there is a valve inside that takes some time to set and close properly and that this may have caused the issues. Whether that was the problem or not, they failed to repair the issues I was having after my gear was there multiple times. He told me that I should have brought the gear back in to them. Why would I do that when they repeatedly failed to fix the problem? He refunded me $30 and was completely satisfied with losing my business. Not a place you should be supporting if thats the attitude they have towards their customers.

I have been shopping there fir seven years..I bought a new diving mask. five months agp and the strap was dry rotted and busted on me about one mile off shore of. Key largo..when i went back to the store. The employee named mike charged me to replace the strap because i didnt keep the receipt lfrom five months ago.. Be careful with this shop.. Money hungry...shame on Mike.
