This Target is usually very quiet and empty even on the weekends which is great for your average shopping trip. The only time I would avoid is when school is about to start. Therefore, the store is usually kept clean and tidy. Most of the employees are young college students so they are so nice and helpful. With not much going on in Davis, a trip to Target is a cute date idea.

This target is great! Usually doesnt get too crowded. Only criticism is some of their products dont get restocked as frequently as you might like.

The store was out of numerous items, leaving rows and entire sections completely empty. There were also a lot of boxes on hand trucks, platform trucks, and dollies littered throughout the store making it difficult to maneuver through the isles. Boxes were also scattered around on the floors, again making it difficult to navigate around the store. When asked about why so many items were out of stock the reply was because UCDavis had started back recently. This happens every year, the store manager should take appropriate measures to ensure items stay reasonably stocked and there are enough employees working to make sure the store is stocked and easy to navigate.

Good service and price matching. I purchased a WI Fi mesh extender and the prices were fixed across major retailers this time of year and I did not want to wait until black Friday etc. Target Chat helped me tremendously and gave me a 15% off one time offer. I was real happy and will be glad to use Target again. Great deal. Great service.

I felt safe being in the store. I always saw someone sanitizing. Everything seemed very organized. I like to use the app to see if something is in stock or call. They always answer the phone from the times Ive called. Online orders are also pretty fast here. Everyone is always professional and friendly.

No contact and quick service when using the Drive Up option through the app. My order even came with a little package that had an InkJoy pen, cards, and envelopes, all packed with bubble wrap in a paper gift package enclosed with a band that said warmest wishes

Cleanest target I have ever been to!

Employee incompetence and Target cash register complexity is an ongoing problem. If you dont enter your phone number quickly enough, you wont get your rebate credit. And lots of cashiers dont know how to go back to that screen and allow you to enter your phone info. So the tell you theres no way to do it. B.S. There is. So now I make them cancel the order and rescan every item so I get the rebate. Target could just train or document how to do it better. It is possible. Ive had two different cashiers go back to the screen.

I usually find what I need. The staff can be helpful if you need help. I like the new self check stands. The regular lines can be long at times.

No!!! This is not about Target directly.BEBACK rating- 1 star out of 4This is about the Pizza Hut Express.1. You cant depend on their hours. Sometimes closed, sometimes theyre open. Pizza Hut was smart to partner with Target but their service execution is bad.2. You cant depend on their food availability.What?? No pizza or breadsticks available?! Isnt this PIZZA Hut? Its like going to a Chinese restaurant and not having any rice or noodles available. Huh?This qualifies for OOBS designation- out of business soon! Hey, you got to step up or step out. And this is not the only Target location where this happens too often. The one in West Sacramento is almost as bad.The one star and one BEBACK rating is for the fact that I will still shop at Target and therefore, pass by the Pizza Hut area. Well, that is, until Target shuts them down.

I placed an order to Pick Up, but nowhere could I find a phone number to call to say that I was waiting. i finally tried Customer Service Desk and never got an answer. Luckily, a worker was delivering to someone else and I asked her to get me order. Phone number should be easier to locate.

Its a pretty nice store, but the online order pick up needs serious work. I ordered four things and gave them a few days to get everything and in the 2 minutes where I am standing in line to pick it up they send me an email saying they dont have one of my items and would process my refund a day later. They could not tell me in the five days before that, weird. Oh well Amazon is pretty effective, lots of lockers in Davis too.

The employees are really nice and they put up with my classmates and I when we used to go to Target on late start Wednesdays. STAY SAFE EVERYONE:)

Of all the stores I have visited, I truly love the atmosphere this place has to offer. The place is so clean and very cozy from the outside to the inside. The items are well arranged and you cant see any messy part of this store, every corner are so neat and clean. The staffs are very nice and always there to assist. Truly a nice place for shopping. They have a British guy working at the check out. He is the best. Always greets us warmly.

Some people are very friendry and helpful, and I like to go to Target in general. This rating is for bag fee for order pick up. Target charges $1 in advance when you order for pick up, and the note says that you will get refund if you use your own bags. However, I always get charged $0.1 no matter what and I was charged $1 before even though I always use my own bags. I always remind them to make sure that I get refund but somehow, it never happened. When you order to pick up, you should pay attention to the receipts. Its a small amount each time but it adds up and I think its not a good business practice to charge something like this hoping that customers never notice it.

As fairly often us the case with Target, prices indicated underneath item are lower cost than the actual item. Tagged wrong. When go to register fund out you have mistakenly selected more expensive version. Today, the price for ironing board $14.99 directly under ironing board $25.99. $14.99 ironing board not even on shelf even though item was in stock. When I read receipt. Told cashier, he sent me to customer service to wait. Then customer service back to dept. Then wait for help, then wait while employee went to stock room, then back to customer service for refund. Classic bait & switch . make it hard for customer to get hidden item. I have photo.

I come to this Target location quite frequently and ever time I come here they are always out of what is needed on the shelf. Especially the grocery and baby sections of the store. Now I know how ordering products go as I work in retail management, its not that hard to order the things your section of the store needs. I can tell you that there has been the SAME products out of stock for weeks now. When I asked a team member when they do their orders for a specific section of the store she looked at me dumb founded and said oh probably once a month if not 2 months. Which is ridiculous, Target needs to update its ordering model. I will no longer shop here because it is a waist of my time.

This Target is very well organized and stocked. The sections are well labeled, prices clearly marked and grocery section is huge. They also have a Pizza hut and Starbucks inside the store just inside the entrance, and CVS Pharmacy is also towards the entrance. The team members here are friendly and helpful as well. Definitely a model Target store.

I gave them 2 stars at all because their staff is friendly and always willing to try to help, but the problem with the store is that they are always out if stock on lots of items, including popular items. Shipments dont seem frequent enough, or someone isnt ordering correctly, or maybe a bit of both, but whatever it is, it needs fixing BADDDDD!!!!!

Super nice place to be shopping instead of walmart. Theres just a nice layout, nice workers and people are friendly. Only reason its a 4 star is because my wife is peering over my shoulder and she was quite the impatient one.

This store was Davis first foray into a big box store. They made them do tons of wacky extras to get the building permit. Amazingly they are all the things that make the store feel less like a soleless corporation. Ive seen some of these things in other targets but not like here. Its always clean and the clientele is very gentrified.

No one else had the bike for my daughter I wanted but Target did!! I knew I had to order it ASAP 2 days before Christmas and it was ready and so easy to pick up!!

I have never had a good experience with the photo center at this Target. There is always something going wrong with the machines. Maybe it is just my luck. The other Target photo centers Ive been to are great.

Not a super target so food options are low. Always well staffed. Ive always had long waits there at the registers. VERY crowded at peak times. Always clean and fairly well stocked.

We are long time Target people and we are always impressed with their employees, especially in the electronic department. We are very lucky now to have a new wonderful Target in Davis, CA. They hire lots of college students too.

I like Target. Clean store with nice staff in all departments. One thing that I hate is the self-checkout, having an employee saying some cheesy line and staring at me the whole time I’m using the machine can get frustrating for an introvert.

Not much more to expect from Target than amazing service and a great selection of products! Because this is the only Target in the Davis area, it can get pretty busy though. I recommend avoiding this Target the week that the incoming freshmen of UC Davis move in.

Target a place you can Practically buy everything from school Supplies, food, Clothing, toys, video games, and Miscellaneous items. ****Tip Target has something called the cartwheel app To help you save on different things always scan and check your cart wheel app before going to the register.**** 2nd Tip You can also price match at target. Go try to save some money.

This Target sells items more geared towards college students. If youre looking to find things for your dorm room or apartment, this might be a good place to go. Prices are what youd usually expect from Target. The lines are short and parking is abundant, so getting in and out is quick and easy. Theres also a Starbucks inside the store, which is convenient. Freshman that may be reading this, this Target is quite far from campus and I would highly recommend not biking here. If you must, take the bus or catch a ride. Trust me, Ive done it.

Target has added a new clothing line, taking their quality up a notch, and pairing nicely with their Knox Rose line. Good place to start your shopping for Spring.

I like that the Davis CA Target store has plus clothing sizes because no other store in Davis does & people like me are plus sized due to having a larger bone structure which means even with weight loss Ill never be small. Keep respecting diversity Target.

They let me return something I had completely ripped open. Of course, the item was unused, but the packaging was in pretty bad shape. Im also happy they have free-for-2-hours EV stations.

My husband and I came in to purchase A pair of slacks and a dress shirt for a funeral.1)There was no one to help us2)The racks were a jumble of random types of clothing3)It was near impossible to find any sizes because NOTHING was in order!4)There was way to many items on the floor so that when I tried to remove a shirt 3 more fell out onto the floor!MAYBE DONT OVER STOCK YOUR RACKS!

Clean store in a convenient location for Davis locals and college students. Its on the Far East side of Davis, but it is easy to get to, and it has a big parking lot.

Try to avoid this location at the start of the University year or youre going to spend a lot longer in line than you want. But other than that its usually a good location.

A typical Target store that was constructed somewhat recently. Has most of everything you would need after the remodel that added a whole grocery section. The one thing I dont like is how small the mens section is, especially the tiny selection of mens shoes.

Its a so so priced store, most if it is way overpriced but some deals. I would not really chose to go there but I got a gift card so Ill go and make the best of it. I would much rather go to Walmart or WinCo for food but like I said, gift card. OK well I gave my two cents, take it or leave it that is your choice.

Rexi the front end manager was rude and unhelpful. She seemed to talk really loud about the problem on purpose so that we would be embarrassed.But Matt the store manager was easy to work with and helpful.
