A real small, local record store that gives off great vibes. I recently found this gem of a music store with my daughter one afternoon. The store is surprisingly large and holds a very broad range of different vinyl records from a vast array of music genres. The store also sells new and used music hardware. From new Audio technica record players to new and used receivers to a ton of different new and used products to enhance your listening passion.Also, it appears as though this spot either doubles as a bar or once did before the pandemic changed life as we all knew it. I didnt have time to inquire about why there were beer taps located throughout the store as I was extremely short on time and the friendly employee had his hands full at the moment we were there. Ill definitely ask next visit though. It would be a great place to have a few beverages while sampling some great music.

This place is absolutely amazing, you don’t have to know a lot about vinyl to have a good time and a great conversation. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful and the owner goes above and beyond to make sure customers are happy. I was just there for record store day very early in the morning and everything was run very efficiently and it was all very clean. Unfortunately they didn’t have all the records we wanted but, we didn’t leave empty handed. Honestly we never do there’s always some hidden treasure you find here that you just can’t leave without. If you ever have the chance to check them out you won’t be disappointed!

What a great record store in downtown Davis! My wife and I visited last Saturday and were quite please with the selection and customer service. Found a television greatest hits double album with the theme songs of classic TV shows from the 50s 60s and 70s ! Album was like new and sound was amazing ! Listening to those tv theme songs really takes you back! They have listening stations for you to play your selections prior to purchasing. Also have c ds. The serve coffee and beer for a really comfortable vibe, and have a store club card that saves you money on future purchase. Armiadillo Music is one of the fun places that make downtown Davis a great place to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Amazing little record store. They carry vinyls, cassette tapes, DVDs and CDs. They have a wide variety of genres and artists at reasonable prices. I go there all the time and I will always return for more amazing music.

Outside of the pandemic this place was fantastic for live music from local performers. Very much looking forward to watching the next live event here!

Great Vinyl Record Store. Owner always knows what to get for sale in store. Rare these days. Everytime I have been here I scored some awesome vinyl that I collect. Thanks I will return many more times.

This store is awesome. Ive only been here a few times, but every time I leave with new vinyl. The staff is friendly and I never feel intimidated or pressured to buy anything.I havent yet gotten the full experience due to COVID - but I look forward to a time where I can grab a beer, listen to a concert, and leave with new vinyl.

Clean, organized place with a wide selection of new and used vinyl. CDs as well, but I look for records and got two off my wantlist. Friendly person at the counter who was very helpful. Ill be back.

Great prices for vinyls compared to Dimples! The people who work here are always friendly and helpful. I love the vibe and the amount of music they have. Always come here whenever Im in Davis.

This is the place to go if you love music. The service at this place is stellar. I got help from Paul and another guy--cannot remember his name right now but he wore glasses--and they were so friendly and helpful. Armadillo Music sets an example of a great customer service.

You walk in and immediately know youre in a music store where they get it. They get that youre a vinyl enthusiast and have a great selection. Its nice to know there are still people who appreciate the art of music and especially vinyl.

Paul and the rest of the staff? YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST. Extensive collection of vinyl records and other music and video media. They also sell used but in excellent condtion stereo equipment.A must place to visit and shop if youre into vinyl records.

They are constantly getting in used records so I can usually go in and find something I didnt know I needed. They also have a fantastic new vinyl section as well as CDs and some old cassettes.

Great selections at good prices

The assistant manager was very helpful, in an area I was not familiar with.....still, familiar with would be a stretch for me to say, and speak truthfully. Most of the time as were going through old records, they used to belong to our parents. Whom have either passed or they have left their record collection for you to decipher and figure out. I found, really good memories from my childhood But the other portion of the records I had no idea what to do with and/or who the artist is. I have been into numerous record stores trying to figure out what I do have. And Ryan from Armadillo music was very kind he took his time he explained what was of value and what wasnt. He did not judge me or do the audible sigh and I roll of my lack of knowledge regarding the lp era. I would suggest armadillo music most notably Ryan at armadillo music. Highly suggest.
