Couldnt meet a more knowledge or helpful salesperson, and such beautiful merchandise and appreciation for the finer things.

My experience with Gayle was excellent She was in charge of both the sale of the estate and of the home for my mother who had passed away. Neither my sister nor I lived in the area any longer, and Gayle was very flexible to work around our busy schedules to meet us at the house when necessary. She was also excellent at communications, making sure we had the necessary paperwork quickly. Often this involved e-mail and other digital transmissions to help the process move along efficiently, and this was a big help. Given the nature of the estate sale Gayle was also very helpful in staging and preparing the house, which was done expeditiously and with great care. We hired Perkins to sell some items. Easy and we sold it all. I would recommend Perkins to anyone needing to liquidate.

I used Perkins for an Estate Sale in Springfield. I have never been SO happy with a company. They went through everything, pricing, asking me about things I may want to keep, even repairing jewelry and washing glasses. The house was stage beautifully for the sale. They were so respectful of me and my property. It was obvious that they care about what they are doing. They actually made the process fun. Bertine (associate) even brought homemade brownies two days of the sale. Friends who shopped the sale were impressed by how friendly everyone was. I would recommend Perkins to anyone needing to liquidate an estate. I had heard horror stories about how depressing an auction can be and how little concern is shown for your items, that is not the case here. Hats off to Gayle, 3 Bonnies, Marty and Dan. After the sale, they took items that would sell to their shop and arranged and supervised the pick up of the remaining items. I could have never done it all without them. Thank you!!

I've been here 3 times. No one ever greets you. One time, 2 trailer trash helpers were in the back with owner, swearing up a storm with no regards to me and another customer who they didn't know were browsing. That's just lousy! The "trailer trash" helpers also park their vehicle(s) so you can't pass them in the back. This is not how a business that deals in high-quality items should be run. (UPDATE) I was treated like a petty criminal at their estate sale this morning. It was the same person who was at the store in my earlier entry (above). She just went off on me on the bedroom level about something, and I have no idea what it was about I just set my items down and left. Ive been to several of their horribly overpriced estate tag sales, but this will be the last. Obviously they treat customers the same whether it is their store or estate sale. This is not the way businesses of this nature should be run!

Gayle and her team have staged my parents house twice in the past two years, including once for an estate sale. They do an outstanding job. The first time they did work for us, they took a disorganized house filled with clutter and, in a week, transformed it to be fit for an estate sale. The second time, we hired them to stage the house in order to sell it. She and her employees have good taste and staging sense. In both instances, the changes made were dramatic. Many people have commented that they made the place look like a show house. Couldnt be more pleased!

Poor service. The owner forgot our first appointment, then showed up late the second appointment...without an appraiser. She was going to get with an appraiser and get back with us...that was in April. Havent heard from her since. She is only interested in listing your real estate...as she is a realtor as well.

I was looking for estate sales in the area and clicked on a couple pages at the Perkins web site and AVG warned me that the site was unsafe for browsing. The name of the threat is Exploit Blackhat SEO with a severity level listed as High. Based on this I dont plan to ever attend an estate sale by Perkins.
