I don’t know what’s going on at Culligan of Dayton, but we had an appointment for them to check our broken system and had to wait a month. They called the day before they were to come and they said that they had to push it out two more weeks. Then they called again and said they couldn’t get us until January - 3 months from now!. I told them to forget it. I doubt they’ll be in business in January. It’s a bummer because we’ve always had good service from them in the past.

The installer was polite and answered all my questions as did Eric the salesman. My salt delivery driver today was Jimmy. It is the coldest day of the year, and he was so incredibly nice. My water softener was completely empty, and he had no problem bringing all the salt into the house down a flight of stairs and into the softener. He was so very kind and want someone he works for to know how great that made me feel! Thank you, Jimmy!!!!

I was a faithful customer of Aqua Falls before becoming a victim of Culligan when they took over and stopped delivering my water but continued to bill me. I eventually dropped off my old bottles to their local office. They assured me on 3 different occasions they would pick up the water cooler. I left it outside for them and they never picked it up. Now they are sending me a $600 bill from a collection agency. They get get ZERO stars. I spent months calling them about my missed deliveries to always be assured they were coming. Now they wont even pick up THEIR machine and want to charge me for it. How it is even $600 is beyond me.

I knew nothing about water softeners so when I called Culligan of Dayton, they set up an appointment and with in a few days Ron Blankenship was at my house checking everything out. Ron was VERY professional and VERY knowledgeable. He came back a couple weeks after my softener was installed to check on everything and to see how everything was working and he made a few minor adjustments. The other day I bought some salt and when I went to put it in I noticed that the water looked different so I called Ron and he came right over to check it for me, and while he was here he checked all of the settings again just to make sure that everything still was good. I am VERY pleased so far with Culligan and more importantly with Ron Blankenship. If anyone needs a water softener Culligan of Dayton is the place to go and make sure you ask for Ron Blankenship, I guarantee you that you wont be disappointed.

Absolutely LOVE my water softener AND reverse osmosis system. Eric in the Dayton district was phenomenal to say the least! He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, before and after delivery! As well as Eric, the installers were exceptional. They were in and out and very polite! VERY pleased with my business with Culligan. My glassware comes out of the dishwasher beautifully, my clothes look and feel better AND my skin and hair are more healthy! I never write bad reviews. I believe most businesses do the best they can and these are difficult times indeed! Culligan is an exception. They don’t deserve a star. I was an Aqua Falls customer for 18 years. Not a perfect business, I live on a long lane with trees and it’s hard getting back here. Sometimes they wouldn’t come, but they always made it right. Not Culligan! They tell me they’re coming and never show. Can’t get them by phone. Weeks go by. No water. They charge me though. This has gone on since they took over. I finally said enough! Never will I have anything to do with this company and will always bad mouth their name. By the way I’ve never been late on a payment.

Culligan has been wonderful to me and my family. They provide great service and amazing water since we cant drink our well water. It all started when we called for the FREE water treatment test and we met Mr. Ben Franklin, he was very professional, well rounded, informative yet fun and easygoing all at the same time. He was very easy to interact with and answered all our questions. He knew the sense of urgency during these tough times more than ever we needed fresh clean water to drink and he went way above and beyond the call of duty of his job to ensure his clients were taken care of and has checked in on us even after the transaction was complete. I highly recommend not only culligan but a huge shout out to Ben Franklin! Great job Ben.

We have had our new Culligan water softener, whole home filter and reverse osmosis for about a month and we are extremely happy! Our home has city water but the water quality was terrible. Ron with Culligan came out, tested our water and thoroughly walked us through all of our options. Ron has followed up and even came back out to test the water after the system had been installed. We are very happy with our new Culligan water, we’ve never had better water in a home!

We recently built a new house and had several companies come out to provide quotes on water softeners. We had previously owned a Culligan reverse osmosis system and decided to give Culligan a shot. Ron Blankenship is the rep for Culligan in our area and worked with us on what our needs and wants were. Ron was very knowledgeable about not only Culligans systems, but his competitors as well, providing pros and cons for all the different systems. You can tell he has been in this business a long time and knows his stuff. In the end, Ron provided us a quote for a water softener, whole house filter, and reverse osmosis system to meet our needs. Yes, Culligans prices might be a little higher (which Ron explained why) than their competitors, but after reading additional reviews and doing additional research, we opted to go with Culligan. Well, you get what you pay for, which is top notch equipment, professional installation, which included having Ron stop in and help with the installation and ensure everything was going smooth. After living here for over a month, I can say it was the best decision we could have made. Our water is soft and we have very hard water in the area. There are no particles clogging up screens, shower heads, or faucets and the drinking water from the reverse osmosis system is the best. Ron followed up with us recently and came back out to test our water and ensure everything was running smoothly. It has been great service. Many thanks to Ron and the folks at Culligan Dayton!

I’ve had nothing with problems with Aqua Falls and now that Culligan and AF are joined it’s not much better. Two cycles in a row I’ve had my water delivered to the wrong spot and haven’t gotten my empties taken for credit. Truly disappointed with the service.

I wish I could give them less than one star! They are misleading and take advantage of you. Do NOT purchase their reverse osmosis system. Find somewhere else and save yourself some serious money. Not only are their units expensive, the replacement filters are OUTRAGEOUS. They truly only care about making the sale and taking your money. After that, you are a joke to them. Called the office and they too only care about making sure who signs you up to get credit. They are thieves.

The sales guy randomly comes to my place of business to sell a hot and cold dispenser with no money upfront and a month free. He installed our cooler and then told me about a cash weekly referral program he was offering. I agreed and promoted the program online and through word of mouth through my NPO and then he suddenly stops working. He doesn’t show up to my referrals homes when waiting and he is calling from a scam likely phone number. He stopped paying us and refused to schedule our referrals. So now at least 15 people are without the coolers Culligan promised and we are yet to be paid.

When I bought my new home I needed a water softener. I knew that our churches scoutmaster worked for Culligan so I talked him. Being an Engineer I took all of his advice and did my own research as well. As it turned out Ron Blankenship provided the best info I could find.So I purchase a water softener from Ron. I went on to purchase a reverse osmosis water system. Everything Ron old me was spot on. I went on to install a Culligan system at my lake house. Everything was great.Sadly my lake experienced a flooded crawl space. Ron came to m rescue and made everything good. Three soft water system and a water purification system and I’m totally please.I highly recommend Ron Blankenship for all your water issues.

Culligan purchased Hunter Water which we have used for 20 plus years with no problems. Received a letter that OwnerHunterWater retiring and our service would not change. Twelve days ago we called to have salt delivered. One week ago we called again to have salt delivered. Delivery was scheduled for Thursday the 3rd September. NO delivery. Called this afternoon and complained, was told delivery would be made this PM. It is now after 6 pm. NO SERVICE! But I did get Culligan’s bill in the mail! Looking for a new company and donot care about their excuses.

Love getting my bottled water here. There is a dispenser on the outside of the building where you can get a gallon of water for only a quarter. Not only is this ecological because you dont keep buying plastic bottles, but its economical because it says 75% on the cost of a gallon of water.

Had been contemplating getting a water softener for years, tired of the calcium deposits on everything and the way our water felt was terrible. Ron from Culligan came out and tested the water and confirmed what we suspected. He showed us some different options and setups that would well for our household size and then walked us through the purchase process, Ron was a true professional and did a great consultation job with us. Were very happy with our purchase (has been many months now) and Ron has called back a few times to see if were happy with the softener and if we had any questions, appreciate the followup!

Less than one star if I could. Despite my multiple phone calls, no on bothered to record my name with my address. This led to utter confusion when trying to check up my service appointment. I was checking up because even though my husband, myself, and a friend were here all day, the rep showed up but somehow magically disappeared. Of course no apology or any kind of explanation. She had an attitude from the second she got off the phone and simply talked down to me. He was supposed to be here between 11 and 1 and came supposedly at 1220 when my husband was right next to the door. No knock. No door bell. Just left. The office staff couldnt have been less helpful and were in fact extremely unpleasant. How do businesses with such terrible customer service stay in business?

We do love our water softener, but we were really concerned about some of the sales tactics being used by the salesman who came to our house. Not only did he come into our home not wearing a mask, but he also tried to sell us on the under the sink drinking water by talking about globalists and the dangers of fluoride. I am very concerned about the use of conspiracy theories to try and sell products. I dont know if that makes up a customer base in Dayton that he is trying to tap into, but it did make us very uncomfortable. Overall we are happy with our water softener, but we did pass on the under the sink drinking water because we were very concerned from the sales pitch.

Ron Blankenship is the salesman who sold me our soft water and reverse osmosis system. He said we would love it and he was right! Ron was very helpful and informative about any questions we had. Our installer was quick and showed me everything I needed to know. He reassured me that nothing would leak and it has not.I have to say the only issues Ive encountered were trying to schedule a maintenance visit and when our pellets would be delivered. Like any company there a few bumps and no one is perfect. The tech that came out to maintain our system went above and beyond as well.Despite what some people have said, we enjoy our system and the quality we get from having a Culligan system is superb! I will recommend Culligan if anyone asks.

Its been 4 days since I should have received our first delivery. No call, no show, and now no water. The salesman was quick to deliver my initial order of water and ::crickets chirping:: i have heard nothing since. Dont worry though, Culligan was prompt to send me my first bill though. This is a continuation of a previous review from last week. I have still not been able to make contact with Dan Thomas. After he sent me the response below which looks like it is just a generic statement that is posted after every review that is stating they have a problem. I have called the office 3 times and have sent an email as well with NO one contacting be back. I have tried today and it looks as if their phone systems do not work anymore. I am at a lost on what a customer is suppose to do to get service with this company. IS there any higher up than Dan Thomas that would be willing to contact me back??????????I have a system that works great and would recommend to anyone. I do have issues with this company on trying to make contact over the situation I am in. I do not want to air it out in a review but hope this comment will get someone to contact me back. I have dealt with a Patty many times and she is wonderful to deal with but anyone I come in contact with in the Dayton office has been no help. Please someone contact me today.

Our office uses Culligan for our water services and we had an issue with them recently trying to deliver on a Friday, which doesnt work as the office is closed and no staff is available. So we called and the customer service rep was extremely rude! We were told that we set up the Friday delivery, which was not true & then we were told that we couldnt change the delivery date or we would be out of luck until December?!? That is a sure way to encourage our office to look elsewhere for our business. Based on similar reviews apparently Culligan is used to staffing poor customer service representatives.

Our experience with Culligan has been disappointing since the schedule installation date in the beginning of November for our new water softener and carbon filter. When the installer showed up, we found out the size carbon filter that was ordered for our home was too large for the location. A new filter was ordered and scheduled to be installed the following week. When that installer came to our home, he did not have the proper tools with him to install the filter. He asked to use our tools, and asked for our assistance with installation. After about 2 hours, he decided he could not complete the job due to not having his own tools. By phone call the next day someone was scheduled to come the following week to complete the job, however, three days later the pipes they had placed for installation came apart, and water began spraying into our home. This was on a Saturday morning. Thankfully we were home and able to shut off the water to the house quickly. We immediately called Culligan and they asked us if we knew how to bypass the system. We do, however the issue was water spraying into our home and we needed this fixed immediately so we could get our water turned back on. Bypassing the system would not have stopped the water from spraying into our home. A few hours later a tech was sent to our house to repair the pipe and finish the installation of the carbon filter. He was very helpful and said he would talk to the sales person who sold us the softener and filter about getting us a discount for all the trouble we had. We waited a week and did not hear anything. No one even called to make sure everything was okay after the pipes broke. At that time we called the salesperson and he said he knew nothing of our trouble. He said he could ask his manager about a discount. He called a few days later and said they could either send us 8 bags of salt or give us one month of their maintenance plan, a value of approximately $40. After a month we called again as we had not received the salt we were offered for our troubles. The salesperson said they would send it to us. It is now another month later and we still have not received any salt, apologies or compensation for the install troubles and broken pipe in our home.We also chose to finance this purchase, and at the time we were told we would have 6 payments with no interest. The way the finance paperwork was submitted, we actually have to have this paid in 5 payments before interest kicks in. This increases our payment over $100 per month. When we contacted Culligan we were told there is nothing they can do. We contacted the finance company who told us Culligan would have to make any changes. Now we have a larger payment than we initially planned when making this purchase.Overall, we have been very disappointed with the customer service provided by Culligan. It is very disappointing as we trusted this company to come into our home and provide a service for many years to come.

I dont really know when my water will be delivered at times. I was told they would deliver on a Friday but ended up the whole weekend without water. One star because we had to. Had a water softener installed. Tech dented my metal door leading from garage to house. We look at the dent from inside. Tech complained about the job, the company, and that he needed to hurry as he had to pick up his child. Rushed out, left the hot water off, punched a hole in my washer drain hose. My husband called the office and they sent another tech out to finish the job and make sure things were programmer correctly. My brand new metal door which was left dented was never addressed nor the washer drain hose that we needed to replace. When we ordered the water softener we went ahead and got a cooler/water delivery. We have received bottles which leak, we have been missed on multiple occasions by the delivery guy. We have been over charged etc. If we had it to do all over we would have went with one of the other companies around. CULLIGAN IS POOR IN EVERY ASPECT.

I really have no idea if a water delivery will be made as the delivery date has been missed three or four times in a row. It is frustrating as then it takes about a week to finally get a delivery of water, but I always have to call and tell Culligan that I didnt get a delivery. You would think they would already know that a delivery was missed and that the customer deserves a call. Who is in charge of customer care at Culligan? You would think they would have reached out to me after so many misfires. I gave two stars, but honestly, one would be more appropriate. I MISS CRYSTAL WATER, they were rock solid.

Culligan of Dayton’s service is awful. Multiple deliveries have been missed and rescheduled by the Culligan office, leaving us without bottled water for up to a week. Sometimes, only three bottles of water were delivered instead of the usual five. Office staff are rude and not helpful. Since this company bought out our previous water delivery service, customer service has been abominable. I tried multiple times, at different times of the day and different days to reach someone about deliveries that didnt happen and could only reach an answering service. Even though I left messages requesting a return call, none were ever received. After weeks of trying to reach someone, we finally found a new supplier and returned our empties to the company ourselves. When we requested a refund check for the deposits on the bottles, we were told it would take 6-8 weeks to process., Then we were contacted and asked if we had returned the cooler, which we had for five years or more and had paid off the cost to the previous company. In conversations with other businesses that I had referred to our previous company, they had identical experiences with Culligan.

Single handily the worst company I have ever had to work with. We decided to get a water softener for our home, we called Culligan to set up a quote and water testing, this appointment they NEVER SHOWED UP! I give it another chance, call them next day and schedule another. We have Erik come to our house and test water and fill out paper work to finance water softener. We then are scheduled to have it installed November 25th. November 25 they call saying they’ll be here between 2-4.. 4:30 rolls around I call and lady says he is running late. WELP! No call no show again! I call next morning and they give no reason why this has happened twice now but I had to threaten to leave for them to get the water softener out that day. Then, less than a week later, we go downstairs and water is spewing out of water softener and going everywhere in our basement. I have never been so unhappy with a company in my entire life. I wish I would’ve never called them in the first place. Awful!

I have had nothing but issues since Culligan took over our water delivery from Nestle. I have had a delivery scheduled and rescheduled 3 separate times. They dont deliver when they say they will and they do not call to try to reschedule. I have to call THEM and they arent nice or apologetic about it. I have asked for the manager and am told repeatedly that they are either unavailable or on the phone and will call me back. Ive never received a call from management and at this point am fed up with the lack of customer service shown with this company and am cancelling my service today.

I had my water tested at my home by the sales person, Eric Wilson, and found out that my drinking water was less then desirable. So, I had a RO (reverse osmosis) System put in and my kids are loving it. With kids in sports, water consumption is high, now, they take water from home instead of me spending money on bottled water. The cost of the RO system has already paid for itself in savings from my grocery bill. Plus it got installed quickly and everyone was very professional. So when my water softener goes out, my first call will be to Eric to get myself a new one to replace instead of a cheap model from a local hardware store. Thanks for the great tasting drinking water. The sales rep Dave was awesome to deal with. That being said, the tech showed up and did the install. Twenty minutes after he left an alarm went off and I had to call so he could come back. He crimped a line so it leaked. Two days later a pipe that he didnt glue came APART and flooded my laundry room, went under the walls to my living room and dining room. The sales rep Dave came out and glued it. Four days later the same pipe came apart. Here we are 5 weeks later still battling with their insurance company to make it right, and now the pipes have so much condensation on them I have more water on my floor and Im trying to get the system moved out to the garage or they can come get the whole thing. This is the worst experience I have EVER had!!!

Long time customer of another provider and ever since they were purchased by Culligan we have had HORRIBLE service. They dont show up and when I call Im told the next day but dont show up. Its happened several months in a row but Im told they have a driver out. You only get one opportunity to make a first impression but I gave them several opportunities. Ill tell you, Culligan has definitely made a first impression. A very bad one!

I honestly cannot understand why Culligan doesnt pull the franchise from the grasp of this inept and underperforming collection of people who couldnt seem to care less about customer service. I called last week to see if they could deliver or ship a whole house sediment filter for my system that they have been supporting for years. The indifferent person that I spoke with on the phone informed me that I would have to make the (50 minute) trip to their Wilmington Pike location to pick up in person. On Saturday, we made the trip in, only to find that they had no filters in stock! They werent sure when they would have them, but assured me they would call me when they are back in inventory. Not only was this a wasted trip, but if you know anything at all about this bunch then you can bet for certain that I will not receive a call. If you are considering a water service for your well, I would strongly advise you to look anywhere but Culligan. The proprietary components can only be supplied by authorized dealers, and in the Dayton area you are stuck with the hellish experience of this outfit.

Dayton office is horrific to deal with. Never answer the phone and even after I cancelled service, I had water show up at my house and have been billed. I dont even have my cooler any longer since my account is closed. But of course I can reach anyone at the office.

The customer service at this Dayton location is absolutely white trash. The manager, Heather Baker, is extremely disrespectful and not at all concerned with professionalism, quality of service, or customer satisfaction. I called to report another missed delivery and she told me there were kinks in the system. When I began to ask her; What kind of kinks? She spoke over me, telling me they could try again in a month! I tried multiple times to speak, but she kept cutting me off. I raised my voice to try and be heard over her talking and she hung up the phone. I called back and she told me that I may as well use someone else for water delivery. Thats just what Im doing, but not before filing a report with the corporate headquarters in Illinois!

Currently a customer . I find these guys adequate but not much more. Sales force is very good and helpful but the follow up customer service is not so good. Also dont try to auto pay. Their system doesnt work and when it fails they blame it on you and when I say blame. .... I mean it. With all that said the water tastes pretty good.

Unfortunately, we wish we would have read the the prior reviews before purchasing our Culligan water softener. The customer service department has the worst scheduling of any company we have ever dealt with and are NOT friendly people to talk with. We have scheduled maintenance plans with other companies that work great, but, would never consider one with Culligan and their customer care.

I do NOT recommend their system for well water with iron. The Dayton office has been out to service the system numerous times (over several years) and cannot get it to work as they promised it would. Management are non-responsive, they do not return calls when they specifically say they will call, even when you call them to remind them they are to call you. They seem to want the sale but cannot be bothered after that and do not make recommendations for additional equipment. If the service manager is to check your system they do not let you know when the they will arrive as they say they will. However, I will say the service technicians are courtious and professional, it is the opposite with management. I do not recommend Culligan of Dayton.

Beware do not use, I have had my system for a few months now,was to be on 6 months no interest with a fiance company. First bill has interest. I have called probably 30 times,each time the person saying we will call you back. Last time they said dont pay bill we will check I to it and call you.three Bills now and no one has called. I did some research and found the fiance company they go thru,they have no account for me.i hope that someone from culligan sees this and calls,doubt it

They failed to deliver on the day they said they would, then failed to deliver on two alternative dates. Now they have promised me a fourth date. Who knows when and if they will come? Will I ever get my bottle deposit back for the empty jugs I have left? Do they charge rental for coolers when they dont bring water? Terrible service. Why does Culligan buy up all the water delivery services when they cannot provide service to the increased number of customers? Response to Culligan: Dealing with Culligan was the worst consumer experience of my life. I totally regret that Culligan bought out the small business that I had been dealing with. I assume you guys just wanted their processing plant and not the small account customers. I called and emailed and messaged on Facebook so many times. I called the local number and a corporate number. I once got lucky and spoke to a staffer who had worked for the former owner, AquaFalls. She said she was sorry for the nightmare we were experiencing, and if she said anymore she would lose her job. After I closed my account, I didnt get my bottle refund until I contacted the attorney general of Ohio. I really enjoyed the service when I had it but I am afraid to sign up with a new water delivery service for fear it might be owned or taken over by Culligan.

Our service here at WPAFB was great and the delivery guys were awesome when we were dealing with Aqua Falls, and I would have recommended them, had they not been gobbled up by Culligan / Waterco. Now....we havent seen a delivery guy in three weeks, since he dropped off only HALF of our usual amount, and we are being told they wont be back out until the 30th of this month....with LESS THAN HALF of our normal amount. When we try to call to rectify the situation, theres NEVER an answer, and voice mails do not end up with return calls. What the heck, guys?! Do you WANNA lose all your customers?? Because, this is how you lose all your customers. And quit posting about oh, thank you for your patience....blah blah blah, rhetoric. This is completely unacceptable! Pretty sure WPAFB is a VERY large account for you.
