Ive been going to this smoke shop for several years and have loved it. Very friendly and helpful staff working there. I only gave them 4 stars because they are selling a lot less cigarettes and cigars these days and are selling mostly ecigs and cell phones. Love everyone that works there and still stop in from time to time.

Very friendly, always have a great stock of hookah tobacco flavors and they’re fair price too. It’s the only place I grab coals and tobacco for anymore. It’s local, affordable and I get helped right away and given suggestions on which flavors to try next. I highly recommend going if you enjoy smoking hookah or want to go for other smoking needs!

I visited this place today was amazed with all the cool things they have inside that little store. Owners seem to be stocked and thorough. The little old lady at the register really needs to pay attention to customers and tell whoever she is socializing with the hold that thought until shes done with business. The lower prices mentioned in the responses youve made to previous reviews?I see this as a poor attempt at manipulation of customer trust. Its lame and not felt well.I suggest you find a new vendor and take some sales, customer relations and marketing courses. To me, youre obviously more interested in getting money from my hand, into your hind pocket. This is an ugly show. Its not a taboo question if you truly want to help the customer find what they want. However, it is taboo to those in customer service who only care about the money thats in their customers pocket. That is exactly the light you shine.Did they buy it? Find ways to keep touching base with customers.3. Are your customers truly satisfied with what their experience with you at your location and how can you continue to earn their business?Max, I care and its why Im posting this online. I hope this relights your entrepreneurial flame, because you do not express a desire to help your customer and your secondary attempts to reach out on google are insultingly disinterested and shallow. The volume of customer dissatisfaction is obviously trending toward the opinion of high prices on low quality products.This IS a sign!Youre solution of roping the disgruntled customer in with lower prices is absolutely non sense.

I was ripped off! I made a purchase for $50- and made the mistake of telling the man that I knew nothing about the product and asked if he eould advise me. Well he first said it was $60- and all I had for cash was a $50- bill. They were getting ready to close and there wasnt any time to go to the ATM so he said he would sell it to me for $50-. I then told him that I dont have enough on me to cover the tax, he said that he would work out the price for me so that with tax it would come to a total of $50-. I thanked him and when I got home, I wanted to learn more about the product so I looked it up online and the first one I saw was only for $9.99!!! I found 3 others for only $7.99!!!!! It was the same thing!!!! So naturally, I havent gone back there and I dont plan to either!!!! 🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫

I tend to visit here often as I am a RYO smoker. My primary shop is “The Tobacco Shack” on Markey Rd, but Eastown Smoke Shop being open on Sundays has an advantage. Somehow I always run out of supplies on a Saturday night / Sunday.The employee is always nice. Not sure if he is the owner or not but in the 20+ times I have visited, it’s always the same guy. He’s very friendly, helpful and polite. I always hear that “Eastown has a better selection than _______!” However; I feel like a good majority of that “selection” is cell phones, pipes/ hookahs, t shirts and other things that have nothing to do with RYO / Cigarettes At all. Granted they might be items that are typicalFor smoke shops, but in comparison to a *tobacco* shop, the selection is larger because they carry more than tobacco products.Prices are fair. I typically buy American Club tobacco which is $4.99 for 6oz. I prefer that brand not because it’s cheap but because they guarantee zero additives or chemicals. I usually get ZED tubes when I go here also which are $1.99 per 200ct (compared to the ACE Tobacco and Golden Harvest tubes I typically get at my regular shop.)The only downside (which isn’t really a downside but more of a learning curve) is that the cheaper items they advertise, Are cheap because they’re cheaply made. For example: they always have a pyramid of “High Card” brand tubes in the middle of the store. They’re always on sale “$1.49 for 200ct PLUS 50 free tubes! [so 250ct total) but I feel like the reason they’re always on sale is because they’re cheaply made. The paper is so thin I have a hard time with them in my Top-o-matic2 because the paper will crinkle up like an accordion. I end up throwing out 50 of them anyway.All in all, I like the store, the employee and atmosphere. Plus the easy to access hours and location aren’t bad. It’s right on public transit, across from the Eastown Hub and/or directly across from ALDI. The downside to that is that public transit will take over an hour to get there from almost anywhere in Dayton. It’s not a bad area though and they don’t close until 9/10pm most nights which is good for people like myself that don’t get moving until late in the day.
