Glad someone told me about M&R Electric Motor Service. I was restoring a wood Jointer and couldnt get the motor to start. Needed a new capacitor I thought. But M&R was able to rebuild the whole motor to like new condition for less and all the mounts still worked and wouldnt need retooled. Their turnaround was days, not weeks and I could not be more happy with the results.

We had an issue with our well pump and they promptly addressed it. They were very fair and flexible. Would highly recommend.

Condenser motor decided to die on a hot morning. Took the old one in and swapped it out. The tech there, made sure it was the right motor match, checked the shaft spin and explained which wires I needed to match the existing. Simple process and good prices too. Wife is very happy!

Great place for any motor related issues you might have. I brought in a belt drive blower motor (fan and all) for a fan shaft issue and they fixed it up quicker then I expected. Great customer service and very knowledgeable. 11 out of 10 for me.

Ive purchased several motors from M&R and its great that we have access to a business like this in the Dayton area. When the motor went out on my AC compressor, I took the old one in and they provided me with one that I could replace it with. I did the same for an attic fan that went out. Most of the big box stores and Amazon carry cheaply made motors from China that only last a couple of years at the most. M&R carries motors that are well made that should last a whole lot longer.

In a pinch yesterday with a broken furnace fan. The folks at M & R hooked me up with a new motor in stock and it’s working awesome! The customer service was great, they worked with me to get the right motor in the right timing for a great price.

Amazing service. Its not often in todays world when the service you get far out weighs what youd like to receive. M & R Electric Motors did just that five times over. When my AC fan motor went down on a Friday night the next morning I did a Google Maps search and found M & R and was very pleased to see weekend hours (+1) till noon on Saturday. When I call the gentleman was very pleasant and helpful and suggested I bring both the motor and the capacitor when I visit the shop. When I arrived he tested my capacitor for free (+2) and found it weak. He helped me remove the fan blades (+3) from my old motor again free of charge. They had the motor in stock and he prepared it for installation by shorting the shank to match my old unit (+4). He then gave me information on how to reinstall and wire the motor to the new capacitor (+5). I would give them more stars if it was an option. What a great company to have in Dayton! M & R Electric Motors, you have my thanks. Everything is back up and running.

It is nice to be treated like a pro, even if Im an amateur. I had a small motor from an antique power tool, and standing in line I could see electric motors that needed a hoist to move them.Tony and the crew at M&R treated me just the same as the pros. We talked over the joys and challenges of owning antique power tools and finding parts today to keep them running. Great people.

Best day of my week!!!! My HVAC friend told me to go to R & M, and Im so glad he did. I walked in and Eric looked at my blower motor, reached under the counter and pulled out the replacement,,, then the new mount and then a new cap. He had the answers to my questions before I asked, Wrote the new wiring diagram on the box based off my old motor and I was back in my car in less than 10 min. I just wish other businesses would follow their work model. Best in Dayton!!!!!

Stopped in there yesterday after a failed attempt at the big box store for a exhaust fan motor and these guys are top notch! They guys at the counter knew exactly what I needed just by looking at the bracket! Not only did they have what I need but they even painted my bracket and put a plug end in the new motor all while I waited without even me asking them to!! I will use these guys from now on!!

Scott was super quick to test my motor run capacitor and helpful in providing the replacement. Unfortunately, it didnt help with troubleshooting my outside AC unit, as the compressor was bad. Thanks for helping, M&R!

Thank you for having the part in stock, the guy helping me out showed me exactly what to wire, got everything matching the old motor, and was able to easily fix my AC. They ended up being cheapest around and costed less than online, and I was able to fix it right then. I will be back if I ever need anything else motor related! Start with them and save yourself time!

Blower motor went out on home furnace. Manufacturer supply house said 2 days. Took motor to M&R. They found me a replacement motor, double checked specs to be sure we had correct motor, and I was out the door in 10 minutes. Superb Service. Friendly Techs.
