This is such an amazing gift shop. The staff has done an amazing job picking out items to be sold here. From plane replicas to books, stickers & patches to toy models, they have all types of things. By purchasing these items, it helps support the museum. I would recommend you purchase at least something small to support the free-admission museum.Tip: this is a wonderful place to buy souvenirs for someone who may not have made it to the museum!
Great selection of Aviation and Military clothing, toys, stuff animals, stickers and anything in between.
If you have visited the National Museum of the US Air Force- I highly recommend visiting their gift and memorabilia shop. It has a lot of good items, clothing, and other sorts of memorabilia- from mugs to magnets, model sets and space themed items that you can buy from the shop- and also they have a wide variety of pins, shirts and hats and other things to look at. They might be a little expensive- but it is well worth taking a look if you have the time.
Service was great! Its a fast food place though, so dont expect them to get your order right 100% of the time.
One of the great free entry museums in the state. History and technology and encourages children to love flying.
Awesome gift shop! Relevant merchandise but some is a bit pricey, but it is the Air Force Museum guys. A portion of the money goes to support the Museum itself. Our aviation heritage is worth it. Bought way too much and I have a flat wallet to prove it! Just joking, would have and wanted to buy more. My brain(wife) brought me to my senses lol.
Unique gifts and souvenirs. Take home a memory, and help support one of the worlds best museums!
Been a long since I had been here. It was great to go back again. Always a fun trip.
Large gift shop at the national museum of the US Air Force. Merchandise for young and old alike. A large selection of books, memorabilia, trophies and clothing.
Enjoyed it very much we stayed for 2 days and could have stayed longer we definitely will be back
This place is simply amazing.... Staff is so friendly and there is so much to see. Great family stop, lots of walking but plenty of rest stops. Being able to actually explore planes was amazing being one of those folks who has never been on a plane. Two thumbs up for family fun and just for a casual day adventure.
Probably the coolest museum Ive been to. This place IS history. And free admission. And the friendliest workers ever that you could tell loved their jobs.
I enjoyed looking at all the planes. That part was awesome. What wasnt awesome? you ask: the price of the stimulation rides....The stimulation rides range from $8/person-$10/person-$16/personREALLY? I think you should lower the price a little. You might get more people to want to get on the these rides.
Super Cute items and souvenirs for ALL! Our Grandsons enjoyed their souvenir picks for the day!
Such an amazing place! If you like planes and history then you will be happy! Plan to be there for at least four to five hours and do a whole lot of walking but it is really worth it. They do have a limited number of scooters and wheelchairs available, free of charge, first come first serve basis. Best of all, its free! At least think about leaving a donation. They do have a giant screen theater that has an admission price. They also have two cafes for food.
The gift shop was a lot of fun to browse thru. There are Air Force and plane shirts, bomber jackets, mugs, hats, and plenty of kids toys, jackets, and costumes. All of the colorful merchandise makes the shop eyecatching and fun to check out. Its right by the entrance so make sure to stop by on your way out! Its fully wheelchair accessible too.
It was absolutly wonderful! Sooooooooo very much to see, we spent the whole day there. Highly recommend this museum!! Enjoy..
We planned on a day trip and only got thru 1/4 of the fantastic museum. Flight/Air Force history from the Wright Bros. thru WWI, WWII, Philippines, Korea,Vietnam, The Cold War and on to Space. We definitely need to plan on a few more trips to the museum. And, dont forget to stroll through the Memorial Park. A lovely day!
So many gifts and souvenirs to purchase. Definitely something for everyone. My only issue is how expensive some of the items are
The experience itself was great. But the pre made foods were all out of date. We had checked all of them and they all had been it least 9 days out of expiration.
This gift shop is run by the Air Force Museum Foundation so all the profits go back into supporting the museum. Something for everyone, wide range of prices(postcards were 25¢-hard to beat that!). Shelves and displays were well stocked, and being refilled over the course of the day. Cashiers were friendly and helpful, even after a long day dealing with elementary children from multiple school trips.
All inclusive resource for books, memorabilia & souvenirs for all things U.S. Air Force, past, present & future.
Huge variety of books, souvenirs, models, and collectables, most reasonably priced and a nice, helpful staff to boot. Needed more time, but probably a good thing I didnt have it because I would have spent way too much money. 😊
Really awesome place many airplanes Ive never seen before and lots more if I could have seen it all you cant see it all in one day and enjoy it you have to go at least two days
Very informative, very cool. Friendliest staff ever, helpful! Most everything photographed well due to perfect photographic lighting in most areas.
The Museum itself is very awesome. The shop is nice too but a little bit expensive. I get that the money will go towards the museum but some things are just too expensive. At my first visit there they had one of the motorcycles from the show American Chopper there for display. Awesome piece of work.
If you get a chance to see this it is well worth the effort and time and these pics are from the first of 4 hangers
Great place to visit love everything Great people very helpful and friendly
Very impressive! Was able to tour Air Force One used by former presidents John F Kennedy and LBJ. Highly recommend and free of charge.
Definitely plan for a whole day. We went for a couple hours just to kill time and barely made it through 2 exhibits. Will definitely be returning.
A lot of neat things, something for everyone
So much to see. Wear comfortable shoes
Love vlunnteering...geeat fun...
You must devote at least an hour here... yes at THIS gift shop! You will see firsthand, a plethora of military & aviation history become available at your fingertips. From books, to models, to shirts, posters, videos and yes a copious array of stuff for kiddos. Be sure to bring your wallet.I always told my two boys to behave in the museum, so u can choose something from the gift shop (touching exhibits only with your eyes).
Amazing place to spend hours learning history and enjoying the displays
A wonderful time.Brings back great memories for my Dad and Uncle who served in the military.
Such a great selection of stuff and nice helpful people! We really had a great time visiting and shopping in the gift shop. Typical gift shop prices, but the museum is free so you can spend more!! Found great stuff and gifts that we love! And a fancy OC chopper on display!! Amazing!
Ive been twice. STILL Havent got to see it all. Love it.
Fabulous. Helpful people up front when you arrive! So impressive.
Free admission! Very nice military aviation museum. This place is huge - it will take all day to try to see everything. Wear your walking shoes. Nice place to visit when its rainy or too hot outside or too cold. They just opened a new fourth hanger. All aspects of military aviation from the Wright brothers to Stealth Bombers. There is a cafeteria with reasonable food at reasonable prices. Also an IMAX theatre. There are simulators to ride at additional cost. I really liked the Presidential aircraft display. You are able to walk through historic Air Force One aircraft! There are four examples from the 40s to the 80s. (FYI - there is a size restriction on these walk through displays and they are not handicap accessible due to the historical nature of the aircraft) The Space Shuttle on display is handicap and wheel chair accessible! I have been visiting this place a handful of times for 30 years and it keeps getting better each time.
Always the best place to learn about the air force from beginning of Wright brothers, WW1, WW2, to moden fighters. It opens 7 days a week and admission is free. A great place to bring your family and spend a weekend day.
Supurb collection of aircraft books
A MUST see. Plan on staying a while. Definitely worthwhile.
This place is amazing! So glad we decided to check it out. Made it a day trip with our 14yr old grandson and he was awed with it all. Dont be in hurry or youll miss some very interesting stories of history and valor.
Its alright, rather small for the amount of air novelties that could be sold. Mostly apparel and kids toys. It would be nice to see some more collectable or unique items. Hard to complain about such a small aspect of the museum when the museum itself is outstanding.
Great place to visit, and may have bought something, but saw the over priced goods and didnt feel like being taken advantage of like that. Haha ;p although the (free) tour itself was probably worth $10-$15 bucks, so it wouldnt be that bad.
Awesome Museum we go every year and we see something new every time we go!
So much to see and learn, youd be hard pressed to do it in one visit
Awesome place with so much to see!Everyone should visit at least once!
Very cool place. It was pretty packed but its so big you dont notice.
Had a fantastic time visiting the museum. Theres so much to see I couldnt do it justice.
Great learning place for aviation history and space missions.
My family enjoyed the museum and all the exhibits.
The Museum is awesome. And the gift shop reflects it well.
Well done displays. We spent 5 hours here and felt we saw everything. Did not attend any of the lengthier movies.
Giant store with all sorts of things for kids and adults. I think the store in the primary funding for the museum, so its large and full of interesting things.
Spent too much money. They had so many things to chose from.
Great place to visit to take a glimpse into our past.
A huge museum. Very impressive collection of aircraft and informative displays. I could have spent all day.
Plenty to pick from. Pricing ok.
Awesome place. Takes 2 days to get through it. Highly recommend it.
Wear comfortable shoes and plan on spending the entire day. This place is huge.
A lil pricey but then again museum is free so it all evens out i guess
Its always a fun time looking at all the aircrafts and its free!!
This museum is awesome dont miss it.
Just an awesome place.
Great selection and wonderful exhibits of USAF history.
Great selection of merchandise. From infant to adult, theres something for everyone.
Lots of cool stuff. Friendly staff
Awesome place. Every young person should go to understand the past achievements in our country.
Found gifts for all the men in our group, but not for the one woman. Also not enough extended sizes available.
If youre even a fan of aircraft this place will blow your socks off.
It had amazing interacting stuff,I loved the spaceship
Awesome place! So much to see.
Thoroughly enjoyed the museum would love to visit again in the future.
You can spend all day here and still not see it all.
Great day at the U.S.A.F. museum. So much to see, could spend several days viewing and reading about all the aircraft and their crews....extremely interesting. A five star day! My grandson loved it.
Lots of Air Force related items and apparel. I bought a great book with all the planes displayed in the museum.
Spectacular. Second only to the Smithsonian.
Lots of great items to choose from!
Brought back some fine memories and solem ones awesome a/c having worked on F-4s A-7s and 105s.
Awsome place to visit with all the family.
Great fun for the whole family
Overpriced stuff. Large selection of things we can live without, but might be fun. Just not fun at the prices they charge.
Thank you for great exhibits and your friendly staff.
So much to see! Helpful volunteers full of information. Wear comfortable shoes!
