Top notch organization. From first contact with Keith, to the install with Tom, they were professional in every aspect. The install was a complete new system with ducts, heat pump, and air handler in a 120 year old house and Tom and team did a fantastic job in working around obstacles that an old house can come up with and in keeping me informed of field solutions that came up. They were personable and professional and I would highly recommend Drake for any work that needs to be done. Well done gents!

Joshua and Aaron installed our furnace and air conditioning. They were on time, professional and courteous. We have a small space to fit the furnace and they worked non stop and stayed late to make sure all the codes were correct. Everything was explained about the new system. Ive been with Drake for a long while now. Their maintenance programs arent the cheapest and theyre not the most expensive either. But they keep your heating and air going. I purchased a new system a couple of years ago. They offered a really great financing program that made a new system suddenly affordable. I didnt like spending the money then but its great for the value of my house and peace of mind now.The people that work there make the company what it is. Ive only dealt with a few people at Drake. Theyre always working when I call and theyve been there since I became a customer. Jamie seems to always answer my calls and Tom always came to my house to keep my system maintained. Tom retired and Im hoping now that Anthony will be the one thats maintaining my system. Theyre not perfect ( no one is) but they sure do try and that means something now a days, it does make a difference. I know theyll go above and beyond to get you fixed in a pinch or to get you set up with a new system.

I cannot thank Drake Heating and Air enough for the excellent work they did. Wendy was great at getting the parts needed for the install and communicating when everything would be happening. Nick was excellent in getting the services set up and keeping the old unit patched up until a new one could be installed. Tommy and Aaron were phenomenal technicians. They took care of everything with expertise and precision. They answered all my questions and took the time to explain to me how my system would work and walked me through how the installation was going to happen. They worked all day in hot, humid conditions that turned to stormy torrential downpours and didn’t skip a beat or complain while getting the install completed. I usually get anxious when someone does work on my house. Drake’s handling of everything from start to finish set my mind at ease.

She was very personable and answered all my questions in detail.My installer Tommy and Zach, Tommy was also outstanding in professionalism and payed close attention to detail. Tommy has pride in his work and you can see that by the attached photo of the finished product. I spent the day with Tommy and he answered every question in detail and to my fullest understanding. He explained many aspects of the furnace and as well as how and why the furnace worked the way it did. He let me know what to expect when operating the furnace and AC as the York equipment was much different that the units he was replacing.Zach did a great installing and hooking up the outside AC unit. Our AC was shorting out somewhere so it wouldn’t stay on. Anthony inspected everything thoroughly first, thermostat, furnace, AC and all the wiring. He pointed out a couple areas of concern to keep an eye on, even checked my furnace filter which I had installed backwards. He found the short quickly and did a great job reviewing the options and getting us back running. Had service technician check out our AC unit do too not working, found compressor bad, gave us multiple estimates to determine our best way and total cost of each one. Got us scheduled for replacement of the unit and what they will be doing.

Joshua and Aaron were great. Very professional and checked if I had any questions throughout the installation. Explained the new system in a way that I understood and did not leave until all my questions were answered.Only negative was related to scheduling and the lady that coordinated that. It was a two week wait to get an appointment and then it was postponed by a day. No apology just was told they won’t come until the following day. Lady was brisk and did not seem to have time to ask her any questions.

I’ve been a Drake customer for close to 30 years. Always professional. Always helpful. I love these guys! I had a new furnace and AC system installed in January and some questions about my new AC unit after I turned it on for the first time this week. One call to the office and they sent Anthony out to see me THAT SAME DAY because we know its gonna get hot this weekend and youll need that AC!!! Anthony explained the new system to me and did a quick check to make sure everything was working correctly. Everything was fine and the system is working as it should. Anthony was so patient and so kind to explain the differences between my old system and my new system and to assure me that everything is working the way its supposed to. I honestly cant say enough nice things about the Drake team and how they take care of their customers.

We signed up for their business for our hvac system to be serviced and maintained. Mike came out and gave us loads of useful information about our system since we moved in last year and didn’t know much about it. He also was very personable and down to earth and had lots of helpful information about the area ect. The price was fair for service on the hvac and the company seems really reliable and honest. I’m excited to do business with them in the future.

Previous major repair required some rework. Drake service department responded quickly to diagnose problem and then installation team to follow up with needed work. Noted that additional filter not rack had never been installed by previous company, so Drake completed that work at the same time, at no charge to us. Department Manager, Keith Moody, oversaw the process and provided excellent communication and responsiveness.

Explained everything in laymans terms so I could understand what was happening. Showed test results and explained what they meant. Appreciate the shoe covers in the house. Good customer service!

We received a reminder of the appointment, the Service Technician was on time, polite,informative. Explained the results of his testing, gave suggestions for what could improve the system.

AC went out over a hot weekend. Drake came out to inspect the problem the next day. Gave me a very reasonable quote that I gladly accepted, gave me a little “cold juice” to tide me over and keep my house cool until they could come out and completely replace my 16-year-old HVAC system. My AC stopped working over a holiday weekend - I tried and left messages with several places over the course of a few days… expecting there to be a delay due to closures.I tried Drake - and not only was I able to talk to someone, but they had a tech sent out the next day. Arrived exactly on time - did not stay over the quoted time period. - Michael was friendly, efficient, and respectful. My AC unit needed more work than I initially thought it would… but Michael provided me several choices with different price tiers and financing options. Overall, making it easy and taking away some of the stress of new homeownership. Would definitely recommend.

Disclosure - our home is a historic property, was not designed as a home, but a shop, HVAC was obviously not a thing when the structure was built, & though we did have 2 HVAC units functioning, they were dated, dirty, noisy, & undersized. Without question, this was a TOUGH job to undertake!FROM THE START... of the handful of Dayton area HVAC firms we solicited to replace our homes existing HVAC units & related ductwork, Drake was the SOLE firm willing to take on our project! This point is worth emphasizing... it was the middle of July 2021; our HVAC units were ~29 years old & undersized, and the ductwork was also inadequate. All of which resulted in both of our AC units running all day & night -literally-, with air temps in our home NEVER dropping below 75-76 degrees during the day. Drake was the ONLY Dayton area HVAC firm willing to help us out!!! Steve, Drakes CEO, outshined his counterparts from the start. Rather than us -the homeowners- having to convince the other Dayton area HVAC firms to take us on as a client, Steve showed up ready to convince us that Drake wanted us as a client (presentation in hand... pictures, examples, unit comparisons, calculations, etc.)! NO BRAINER... Drake earned us as clients from the start!THE PROCESS... under the auspice of Drakes highly competent and thorough installer Josh H., our homes indoor air & related noise comfort levels underwent a DRAMATIC transformation (air moving in places it never had before, units running far less frequently and effortlessly, etc.). Impressed with Josh Hs friendly, customer-focused demeanor and management of our expectations throughout the project, the stress of the project (as with any such project) went largely unnoticed. Quite an impressive feat, given that the entire project (lasting ~ 2.5 weeks) was chalked full of latent challenges and the need for customized solutions. Surely our home has to rank amongst Drakes most notable/challenging jobs!?! Nonetheless, Josh H, Lee, Young Josh & Tom, were all highly professional and very attentive to the fact that Drakes presence in our home was foreign to us as homeowners. Special attention was paid to clean-up and returning our home to its original state -to the best of their abilities, of course- each day.Ultimately, I was left with the impression that Drakes underlying theme or motivation falls somewhere along the lines of Do It Right, Do It Once. I believe I can make such a claim, as I was with a member of Drakes team throughout the entire project (constant vigil). Its fair to say that we, as homeowners, were fortunate to have discovered Drake!

First must say the office staff was very polite along with Donnie who came to provide an estimate. Contacted Drake on estimate for new Furnace and A/C system due to promotional letter we received. It is worded very deceptive. Price went from $947 to $8,880. Donnie understood how I come up with my understanding after I explained. Being reasonable I figured there would be some up charges (Freon, sheet metal ETC) possibly double the $947.00 advertised. Our home does fit one of the 4 sizes of talked about in the advertisement.Simply a FYI for those who received the letter.

AWFUL SERVICE!!!! On May 21st we scheduled an appointment online for May 25th. They called us on May 24 saying that we were originally on the schedule but for some reason they overbooked... So they scheduled us for May 26th. Which I completely understood... accidents happen! But then we got a call on the day of our appointment saying that they couldn’t come out because they were “backed up with emergency appointments with their priority customers”...So glad I wasted my time on a company that doesn’t truly care about every client. We would have contacted another company if we knew this is how we would be treated. So don’t even bother contacting them... If you aren’t a “priority customer” they will just keep pushing you aside.

Rob did a great job, answered all our questions, and was very knowledgeable.

Thomas Schlorman and Lee Gaines were the two men who installed the new system. Both were well experienced and worked well together while paying close attention to detail.

Rob provided the most enjoyable service call I believe I have ever experienced. He gave my wife and I more personalized attention than any service man from any other company ever has. It was a breath of fresh air. Courteous, well-read, professional. Although it was his first visit to our home, it was like talking to a neighbor weve known for a long time.

We had Drake install a new HVAC system in our house about 8 years ago. This system replaced the builders system that last about 8 years. The Drake installation team was quick and efficient and got the whole system completed in less than a day.We have a service agreement with Drake and Tom came today to service our furnace. Tom noticed the exhaust fan was quite noisy so he replaced that inder warranty. Tom checked out the system thoroughly and days the furnace is in great condition.Tom arrived on time and was respectful of our home. He wore booties and placed a floor mat to catch any moisture on his feet as he came into our house.Thank you Drake Heating and Air for your continued support.

They renovated the utility space by removing a soft water conditioner, a hot water heater, replaced a humidifier, installed an on- the- wall water heater, a UV light to disinfect the furnace air flow, and a digital humidity controller. They replaced all the old water valves with more modern ones and rearranged the piping and ductwork in the space.

Very considerate and friendly. Efficient and left our house neat and clean with no leftover old parts or trash. All day job, yet they were both really great the entire 11 hours! Would recommend to everyone. Drake is 5 star for a reason!
