Great atmosphere. They definitely have the right type of personalities here. Well educated about firearms and ammo. They are not about sales they focus on meeting your needs. I must say this is the best indoor range Ive visited thus far. They have an actual range safety,which kept me at ease enough to shoot comfortably and not be concerned with inexperienced shooters. Special thanks to Tiny, great guy and knows how to run a range. Definitely will return soon.

The owners built a new deck outside and with Biketoberfest coming up, I think it will be a big improvement. More space, room for a live band on Saturdays. Great place to shoot, drink, then eat. As long as you shoot first, you can enjoy a couple of cols ones.

Everyone here is nice and helpful, whether youre spending money or window shopping. On the range, the range master is always on his toes and not afraid to disinvite anyone whos even marginally dangerous. I feel perfectly safe on the range because of this, even if all the bays are in use.

These guys rock! Took my wife for CCL class and it was a great experience.They havent decided to absolutely gouge the price of ammo. Higher than norm, is expected in these times. Florida Gun Exchange decided that 30 dollars for a box of low end 9MM ammo is acceptable. Top gun is closer to 20.00.They may not have the inventory of guns on their shelves, but their pricing is was way more moderate.Their range is excellent, but their range guys are top notch. I will use these guys everytime going forward.

They sell the finest quality guns and ammunition and I also took gun safety lessons and did target practice there. Very helpful and informative staff.

Took a concealed carry class today and have nothing but good things to say about the whole process. After doing lots of reading and research I thought I had a slight clue as to what I’d learn today, what I learned was that I had absolutely NO clue. At the end of the class I had so many answers to questions I’d never thought of. To say I learned a lot is an understatement. I’d highly recommend Top Gun to beginners like me, as well as anyone wanting more training. I look forward to getting the experience I need from these awesome folks.

I went here with my two daughters as the website said family friendly. This place is not family friendly starting with the instructor at the counter as he was rude and condescending. After this terrible experience we went axe throwing and had a blast. Not only did you loose our rental business forever but we were looking to buy multiple guns as well. No stars is more like it.

Ive been here a few times & i like it a lot. The price to shoot an hr (with your own gun & ammunition) is kind of pricey but you are also spoiled with air & fanned air, nice bays & the range men are constantly sweeping your casings away for you😭😭. The guys here are extremely knowledgeable, helpful & not cocky in any such way. They are extremely vigilant i have noticed & love that a lot. Thats what i always look for when going anywhere is vigilant men that are always on their toes & i feel safe here. Ive not felt safe @ a few other ranges (muzzle & trigger discipline should always be practiced..& corrected if not). I go alone most times.

I found the staff was really rude to my father in-law (retired vet) and his friend (retired Sherrif) when going to the gun range. Their gun range was not air conditioned and they treat you less than human. Very uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place. Customer service is not up to par.

This is my favorite place to visit any time I am in the Daytona area. Super clean facility and friendly staff. The restaurant attached also has very good food.

Checked out Top Gun for the first time today. Cannot express how much I enjoyed becoming familiar with the establishment. Very friendly and accommodating staff! They took the time to answer questions and provide valuable insight. Will return next week to shoot the models of interest. Felt like a kid in a candy store! I bought my sweet iwi masada 9mm 17rd from here. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel safe, welcomed and comfortable. The fire range was a great experience. Theres a gentleman that goes by Tiny, he was such a great help very friendly and kind to me and my mother. If you are reading reviews and thinking about checking this place out I promise you that you will not regret going.

Will not allow you to shoot reloaded ammo on the range. I purchased my reloads from ZLS an ammo manufacturer of 40 years. Top Gun is just trying to sell their own over priced ammo.

My daughter and I attended the first class for getting our gun permit this morning. Let me tell you, if you are interested in obtaining your gun permit, you have to go to Top Gun. Its a very impressive building when you first walk in. We had a young lady from an insurance company with some very important information in the beginning. Then Paul was our instructor and he was so very informative about gun laws in Florida and he was also very entertaining and kept us all amused. Then we all had the chance to shoot a gun at a target. All we have to do now is take our certificate to get our gun permit.

I attended a concealed carry weapons training course at Volusia Top Gun and had a wonderful experience. Paul, our instructor, did a great job of providing us with tons of information and thought-provoking scenarios in a concise and entertaining manner - the four hours literally flew by.The staff was attentive and the facility is huge and very nice! Ill definitely be back!Also, theres a GREAT restaurant/bar on the premises (Double Barrel Grill) which was perfect after a 4-hour course! The food & drinks were amazing!!! One of the best burgers Ive ever had! And I love the decor and ambiance.

I went to the CCW class here, and I have to say.. very informative and Ive paid more for stand up comedy tickets that made me laugh less. Paul will have you in stitches for most of the class.

BUYER BEWARE( Volusia )I am not a person that usually complains or has conflicts when purchasing items. This is my first time ever purchasing a gun which I had a great experience doing it . However I ended up getting two of them and needed to return the second one. At no given time was I informed of a 20% restocking fee and and when I asked them where it was posted the store manager said everywhere?? So I continued on and looking around and no where was it posted . It is not posted everywhere it is ONLY posted at the managers desk! Which I never was at only at service counter. The sales associate JOSH never informed me or my husband of the restocking fee. They were more worried about us purchasing the gun before making sure we both passed the background check.

I went into my CCW class expecting to be talked at for 4 hours. That was not the case at all. Paul, the instructor, was energetic and engaging. I would absolutely recommend!

We took a CCW permit class and it was great! Paul did a great job providing the class with the information needed in a way that held everyone’s attention. We had a lot of good laughs but learned a lot as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get their permit.

My wife and I took a gun instruction course and were very satisfied. We bought 2 new 9 mm. We also bought 2 boxes of target ammo and a box of hollow point. The hollow point would not slide in magazine and would jam. I was told they do not take back ammo but it was sold to me with the gun. I was told to give them to somebody that has a different 9 mm and maybe they would work. I did not even get an apology or anything for their mistake. Make sure you try ammo in magazine before leaving store.

Volusia Top Gun has very poor service!!! My dad went into the shop to look at a gun they had put aside for me. He was told they didnt need a down payment and to come back the next day since it was not entered into the system yet. We then went the next day to buy the gun but it was still not in the system and was told to come back again. We also asked Paul, the manager about a down payment and was told that we still did not need to put a down payment down and that our contact information was enough. We left both of our numbers so they could contact us when it is ready. We never got a phone call so when we called to check on the status, were were told the gun was sold...even though it was put aside in a box with my contact information. They then tried to say we never came back to buy the gun and that there was no down payment. I am highly upset, especially when I did my concealed weapons class there. I will not be going back at all to Volusia Top Gun and will be telling friends and family about my horrible experience!!!!

My wife and I attended conceal class 10-2-2020 with Paul. I just want to say I have taken the conceal class in Minnesota 2 times and different locations and by far Top Gun was the best. Paul will keep your attention through out and is very knowledgeable. They may be a few dollars more than other classes but it is worth it as they do provide discounts on training.

Was an extremely informative class on Florida Law, covered survival skill choices as well as consequences, got to shoot, was a very good speaker who made it very interesting with stories and many many scenarios. And options...i learned so much from Instructer Paul Jabaly, top ratings from me!!!Paul also didnt sugar coat the seriousness or profound responsibility, really got us thinking, best of all I learned that the Law in Florida must be learned as surprised me actually in some areas...Thank you Paul, you were a great educated and I will be back for more training

Great range especially being indoor in Florida. Best choice to stay dry. Wednesday’s are ladies days, half off range price. A bit pricey for an hour (you’ll pay extra for an extra shooter) but the restaurant makes up for it when you are all done! Great food and the areas best beer prices hands down.

I came out here with couple of my buddies, had a blast at the indoor range. Great service and great prices. Little disappointed by the fact that restaurant wasnt available at the time i went, we really wanted to grab a bite there.

Just did the concealed weapons course with a friend. It was amazing! Paul the instructor had great scenarios (VERY entertaining btw) that made you think hard about the responsibilities that come with concealed carry. It is a definite do! Next, I will be going back for some of Top Guns training courses as well: I will also be be giving the same courses as a gift to my well armed sons.

I absolutely love Top Gun for a million reasons, number one is the warm and welcoming environment! :) The Range Safety Officers are very knowledgeable and observant to ensure fun and safety. The indoor range accommodates every gun owners needs including a vast selection of firearms for all purposes and accessories/cases to go with!*Edit* Just took the concealed carry class with Paul and special guests, its about a 4 hour class jam packed with information and rules to abide by when out in the world. About halfway through the class you hit the range and discharge five rounds to better understand the real deal and pass the qualifications test, after that its back to the classroom for more knowledge. I wouldnt give my time to anyone else but Top Gun Volusia. This place has everything you NEED. The owner Ron is a complete gentleman goes above and beyond to ensure everyone feels welcome. My friend and I took our conceal carry class here just recently. The class was excellent. Paul(our instructor) kept the class engaged and entertained with his energetic presentation. This guy will make you think about carrying.... responsibly. I took the class after working 10 hours and never once lost interest.

The best staff, and the nicest range/store around. Today my ar15 gas block had a malfunction. The team had a new gas block in stock and tools I could use to install it. They even helped with the install. If you are new to firearms or a veteran shooter, this is the place too to go. There isn’t a single negative thing I can say about this place; thank you too gun and your team members for everything

Cool place. Not a huge selection of firearms but ok. Will order anything they dont have in stock. Charged $30 for gun transfer. U can shot rifle caliber in range. Rent a full auto rifle there, not sure what that costs but sure its not cheap. People were friendly. Much better than FGE which I hate going to anymore.

If you plan to attend a no B.S. real talk concealed weapons course. This is the place to be. Paul does a very good job about bringing scenarios into everyday life with a big touch of comical entertainment.

Best gun shop in central Florida. Never seen such an inventory. Everywhere else is outta stock and they had everything and anything you could imagine, this is no exaggeration. The service was exceptional. I will be purchasing more from them in the future.

Ive been trying to call this business with no success. The phone never rings and of course nobody answers. This obviously needs fixed. Ive been to the establishment and the girl in the retail sales department was very nice.

This place is awesome! It is clean, the staff is courteous, the range is top notch, and the restaurant has great food at reasonable prices.You are normally greeted but the folks behind the counter where they have a nice selection of firearms to choose from. The people are friendly and ready to help. I’ve noticed at other gun stores the staff can be snooty and aloof, but these folks are just the opposite and they are ready to help. If they don’t have what you are looking for they will bust their bits to find it for you.The range is strict on safety and the guys tat work there are also strict but are also friendly and helpful. They and a great variety of targets for very reasonable prices.I’ve had several meals there and never been disappointed. The food is wonderful for a value price. If you want a beer or a cocktail then everyone at the table has their ID recorded and no one shoots the rest of the day - SMART!We go back often for sweet sporting. Hope you enjoy!

Didnt even try to save a sale, again based on their advertising. Not sure of their response, but regardless their advertising wasnt clear to others as well. Did however contact another local gun store and they were more then happy to give/honor same deal as advertised. Someone else made several new customers. Thats Good Business!

Nice range that is air conditioned. The safety they provide with someone in the facility at all times. If it’s not for you, try the restaurant, it is really nice. And if you spouse loves to shoot, you can watch him through the safety glass they have provided. Very impressed with the whole experience there. A big shout out to Tiny Tim, he is amazing!

Very nice modern indoor range. The staff is friendly and very knowledgable. I took a friend there who never shot a gun before and the range master gave a lot of great pointers and seemed to be a great instructor. I also traded in a shot gun for a handgun and was treated very fairly. Highly recommended gun shop and range. I look forward to eating at the restaurant soon.

New to shooting and guns, Top Gun has the most enthusiastic staff I have ever dealt with. They are so interested in my goals and experience when I am there that it feels like I am there with my friends. I took the carry /conceal class by Paul and it was fantastic! Informative is a total understatement. It was like he was able to set the stage for future events and really teach us how to respond and how NOT to respond in situations. Great shooting experience at Top Gun. The range area is modern, clean and air conditioned. The store has everything you need from guns and ammo to a ton of accessories. It is staffed by super polite and very knowledgeable employees (especially the girls). Prices are great and you can find just about everything you are looking for. We attended the Concealed Weapons Class this evening at Volusia Top Gun. A big thank you to Paul for making the material so informative and interesting (and entertaining)! If you are thinking about taking this class, you will walk away with a well-grounded understanding of what you should and shouldnt do in different circumstances. He also presented different scenarios and the options for handling each scenario. I felt comfortable asking questions and the information provided was thorough and complete. There were a handful of other places that offered the class so we were not sure which one we should select, but I am so glad we chose VTG and would highly recommend them.

Store:The store is nice, clean, and very open. All the firearms have tags on them with the names and prices. As youd expect they will let you hold anything you are interested in. The staff is very polite and personable. I bought my very first firearm from here from Josh who was super polite and helpful. During purchase they seem to check prices and will adjust for you. Although Im not sure what the criteria is or where they look.Website:Their website is nicely designed and clear about a lot of the basic information. Unfortunately their website does not list their inventory nor what firearms they have available to rent at their range. (If its there then I couldnt find it.)Range:I havent used their range but they have the waiting/viewing area and it does look very nice. Prices are a little high in my opinion. If its a nice day outside I would recommend going to the Strickland Shooting Range (its outdoors) that is just 10 minutes away down 92 from VTG.

When the range had run out of the ammo I needed.(common ammo) he quickly helped us out and found some more ammo we could use and made sure we had a great experience. Definitely coming back!
