Completely average overall, but I will drive almost anywhere else to buy lumber.
This store is dirty and very disorganized its impossible to get to the lumber department because they have so much stuffed in it that theyre either shipping out or waiting for people to pick up. Poorly managed and poorly run for a home Depot. I realize this store is very small compared to most home depots but there is no reason for the clutter thats all over the floor especially in the lumber department and where the concrete is. The rest of the store seems to be okay and the garden department is run efficiently. It would seem to me that the store manager is not involved according to what I saw in the lumber department and with the concrete and stuff. Things could have been put in a more efficient way instead of just cluttered everywhere and look like they just been dropped. They need a person that can organize and still be able to keep the same supplies going in a small store. If you need to look for help in that go to McClendons in White center. A very small store that still keeps everything neat. Very disappointing
Whoa! This is a huge Home Depot. Im accustomed to the ones on Lander Street and Aurora Ave N. I needed a small tarp to cover something on our patio that I didnt have inside storage for. I was in and out in just a few minutes, having chosen from a nice selection of sizes and weights.Home Depots prices are usually a little lower than Lowes. Its been my go-to store for tools, building materials, garden supplies and even indoor plants for years. In the last year-and-a-half, weve bought a few succulents From Home Depot. They are doing great.
This home depot is very nice as all the Home depots mainly. I ordered these cabinets for new townhome. Needed more closet and cabinet space. These were perfect and as you can see 4 across fit perfectly in an average size bedroom. The measured length of cabinets is 13 3 1/2 inches. This is a good addition to a 10 x 13 room if you need to add a closet without mounting anything to a wall. Also, the open storage afforded by the cabinet tops is going to add valuable organization options. I priced out what i needed in a closet company and placing these in place instead. The actual cost is about half of what an closet installer would charge. These cabinets can be be picked up at the store or they can be drop shipped. Beware though, ea cabinet comes in 2 boxes and ea box pair weighs 90 pounds a piece. If putting upstairs as I did, its best to remove component parts and bring then upstairs and assemble cabinets 1 at a time. Total build time was over 2 days, with time spent assembling of 16 hours, 4 hours a cabinet. Take your time, it will be well worth it. Manufacture quality is excellent and containers are constructed and packed so no damage to contents should be incurred.
Home Depot is Home Depot but this one not having my order ready for pickup when I got the text 72 hours prior is a bit frustrating.
I love this Home Depot. However not having as many staff is making it harder to find things.
Excellent selection of bagged souls, plants & flowers for spring transplanting. Threw in a 30 SQ ft mothers day garden for $80. And the friendly young lady on staff in the garden center gave me a thorough orientation. Thanks again Home Depot!
I stopped by to get some copper wire and was able to find someone to cut it for me without having to hunt them down. Some of the people at my local Home Depot act like theyre seriously being inconvenienced if I ask for help, so this was refreshing and welcome. Very nice store.
This home depot is much more chill than the one in SODO. Everyone here is suepr helpful and nice.
Theres often very few options to look at in the store and employees who are unsure. They do try and help as much as possible though and the returns department is very helpful.
Worst Home Depot I have ever been to. I have been a loyal HD customer for years but this one is making me go to Lowes. People are beyond useless, down right rude! Inventory is lacking, store is a mess. Ive been to HDs all over the country as a contractor and this one is THE WORST!!! Avoid at all costs.
Home depot delridge way has always been nice and easy, because if construction on road for main access its a slight headache, be patient while entering then looking for parking space. Once this has been achieved then its all nice and easy can be crowded on times remember only one stop hardware in this area, if you want to travel more miles then theres always more stores keep your piece of mind or keep driving and maybe still lose it
Denied a return through The retail equation 3rd party system at Home depot. The retail equation shows I have only tried to return this 1 item, no previous record and Im denied a return.Just your average home DIYer, I havent return anything to home depot in over 2 years. Why should I shop at home depot when the return process is so annoying? Go try Lowes, harbor freight, Ace hardware, etc etc.
My five star experience at this store was during the purchase of Blinds was primarily driven by all the insight and provided by an extremely customer driven employee Joby. Joby provided us with indepth details and demonstrations of all window covering options with strong recommendations with type, vendors, etc. His knowledge was exceptional and was critical in learning more to make the right decision. Our decision making took longer than anticipated and we missed the discount week. During this time, Joby was patient, had proactive followups over the phone (not excessive so that its annoying) and eventually worked with the vendor to get us the original discount price to save us a ton of $. From purchase to install (~4 weeks), Joby always left VMs to provide timely updates. After install, we had issues with 2 of our windows and Joby was on top this issue. I got a call from him almost as soon as the Technician left saying that he heard about this issue and will ensure the replacements are ordered and delivered ASAP. Within 4 more weeks we had the replacements installed. My experience was smooth and I was blown away by the level of customer service I received from this gentleman. If you are getting any window treatments, stop by and ask for Joby. You will not be disappointed!
Had an old gallon of paint with a faded label with the mix code. I couldnt read it but the paint gal could🙂 she was able to match my paint efficiently
The best material & tool store in united estates to shopping
Going down on my list of places to buy from. They keep changing to sub-standard vendors/products. This last product that we regrettably purchased was a house air filter that was more money with less quality. The original 3M Filtrete filters were good well made units now they only sell to Honeywell Home sub-par product. Both companies are well respected, but must be cutting a low dollar deal to get their cut rate products on the shelf. The filter is poorly constructed with less pleats/surface area and will not last as long. Attached is a photo of a used Filtrete with even placed pleats and more of them. Next photo is a new Honeywell home with pleats irregularities and less of them, equals less surface area of filtering. This is the third time you have switched to a sub-par product. Sorry Homedepot Ill just buy online from now on.
First time in store I found the staff helpful and friendly will be making them my go to store
I had a sump pump that was less than 6months old and had quit working. I had no receipt but the person at the return desk looked up my credit card and exchanged the pump for a new one. Great customer service. Much better than Lowe
All my DIY materials here.love it.
Heres the deal: I dont like hardware stores staffed by people that dont know much. But, that said, this is a pretty good home depot.
Staff can be much more helpful, just a bunch of young kids that point you to the wrong direction etc. I have taken my business else where, I recommend Lowe’s!
No cashiers up front. People in line did not know how to do self check. No bags available and the employees did not care. Was sent to the wrong isle for something by an employee. Just a poor experience overall.
Es ok is hebrithing you nede
I came in today with hopes of talking with the sales person about a DIY project I had. I was given the runaround by three different employees sending me back-and-forth between different aisles to get a piece of piping cut. When the fourth employee I encountered sent me back to the aisle I had just been in, I asked him if he could just help me because I was very confused. He rolled his eyes at me, and said “he won’t cut piping for customers.” I asked him what kind of piping I should then get and he ripped the piping out of my hands and walked away. Needless to say I left, and had excellent service elsewhere.
I went to the paint department and I needed some tape and it wasnt in stock on the shelf but I noticed a box above and the associate that worked there looked at the box I pointed to and said that it wasnt what I was looking for but when he left I climbed up there and took the box down and opened it up and there was exactly what I needed It was fun climbing up the shelf😄
What can I say? Virtually all of your building, tools and household supplies can be found at Home Depot, and its a great resource for handy folks. As far as this particular store, Its typical of the warehouse shopping experience these days.Sometimes youll find helpful employees who will go the extra mile. Other times youll find smug young employees who make it clear that the customers are just interrupting their chats with each other.Selection is very good. The store is always clean.Heres a tip: research what you need before hand, and use the phone app to locate it within the store. If you dont find it on their website, or app, its just not at the store.Frankly, thats what most employees will use if you ask for help. The days of having experienced experts on staff at these stores is long gone.Thats not an insult. Its just the business model. Im sure it helps keep prices down, so they can compete with online shopping.
Helpful nice employees. I was surprised that the store didnt have a variety of plant pot saucers to match their great selection of plant pots.
Jordan in homes dept was great help ordering compost bins for me . greatly appreciated.
It was easy to find what I was looking for, but nearly every aisle leading to it was gated off. No faster way to piss this customer off!
Looking for kitchen cabinets? Talk to Anastasia. She knows her products, has great ideas and is very patient. 5 stars for her!
This Home Depot seemed to have more early gardening plants and materials available than others weve been to in the last couple of weeks. I only give 4 stars because I think Home Depot (not just this one) could open and supply their garden centers earlier. Now saying this as snow is getting ready to fall - so I understand it is somewhat of a risk on their part. Still, there are plenty of cold-hardy plants that could be out for people getting an early start.
Decent store, reasonable service. If you want more building supplies and less home goods, Lander is a better spot.
I love the information provided on the website about item stock status and location in store and ability to check stock in Nearby locations. I have consistently noticed that the in store price is cheaper on non sale items then the website published price for curbside pickup or pickup in store. I always purchase my stuff in store because you cant get home depot to apply your veteran discount to an online order. I like the ability to track my purchases with a pro id. I dont like the conflict that arises, with some home depot staff about using your pro id in conjunction with your Veteran Discount.
Customer service has always been lacking but improving
This store (West Seattle) is one of the better ones in terms of customer service.Update: This store has kept its great customer service up to par.
U know its the shiznit
Why does every employee at HD avoid you? This didnt start during the pandemic. You better have the app if you plan on finding something you are looking for.It will give you the isle and bay number
Paint Department. Staff perfectly friendly, knowledgeable, quick service and I took advice on brushes, etc. Stairway paint job excellent! But that’s on ME ! LOLStephenie
I hate this store :) People are slow and it take forever for some to help you on bringing stuff down de racks
Linda, one of the cashiers went out of her way to insult, and accuse me of stealing when i have never stolen from, and actually used to work at that store (with her too..!) Asked to speak with management..but tool rental employee played dumb, and took 20 minutes to give me the keys, and 35 minutes helping a customer who didnt even rent anything, and I got charged for that whole hour. No apology, or refund. Do yourself w favor and goto lander home depot. Or mclendons in white center. Employees here are trained poorly
Grab a cart and run down all the aisles in the store w it. 10/10 experience
It was fast service. In and out.
Thanks to Will (I think that was what is apron said) for making all the cuts in plywood for a plyo box. My 3 year old loved watching!
Manager,Gabriel, really helped me out. I could not have made my move to Vegas without his help in getting everything I needed. I rarely feel confident or comfortable enough going into hardware stores by myself, but the folks at this Home Depot have been so helpful and welcoming. I would encourage every single person to shop here, no matter your level of DIY knowledge or comfort.
HD has improved quite a bit over the last few years. One improvement Ive hoped for is an in-store item locator app thats accurate and can be searched by text, voice, or image. That would be an awesome addition.
Lots of good stuff, to get your project done.
Went to exchange a new pressure washer that was not working and was helped by Troy in the tool rental area. He was extremely helpful and made sure the the new one was set up and working properly before we left.
Solid. Convenient. Lots of helpful people working here. Be careful ordering appliances. We had a major fiasco with an appliance order. Ended up having to rent a truck and drive 40 minutes to pick them up myself.
Has great building materials
The employees here are so helpful and kind, will return again to this location!
* if you want something quickly because of the shipping glut, just go to the Home Depot and you will be guaranteed to get it instantly, customer service included!
Just tried to buy a breaker bar and easy out/bolt extractor set and the employees kept referring me to Harbor freight. Yes harbor freight is a good store, but cmon I’m here at Home Depot sell me something jeez.
Been here before and as always very helpful people, good service
Never disappointed with Home Depot. I recently started using this one because the Junction True Value doesnt accept money. Home Depot is a little further away but well worth it.
Home Depot is an awesome place. I enjoy going here a lot. They have usually anything and everything you need. They are helpful and nice and ready to help. It has a fun construction countryside store feel. I love this place.
Day labor workers very experience and helpful that save you money on jobs when standing around the parking lot
I had a hard time finding Items and the employees were not familiar enough where Items were to help me.
They were very helpful in locating what we were looking to find.
They have just about everything. So much so that I was having a hard time finding what I eased looking for but the helpful staff quickly pointed me in the right direction.
Good experience but wish they had more ryobi products for hand held tools
Convenient location and well stocked. However, no tap to pay support - which is massively inconvenient and feels out of the stone age these days.
West Seattle is my Favorite Home Depot!!
Typical big box home improvement store. Not a lot of choices (I was looking for a replacement kitchen light), but I did find something.I prefer shopping a local retailer, but it worked in a pinch.
It was very helpful having an employee immediately available to take care of the wood cutting area. Cudos.
Actually had a very good experience purchasing a grill. Not too crowded, efficient check out, personable guy right there to unlock the grill and help me load it. I was very impressed - thank you!
Funny style they be acting like its not there job to help customers they know me i come in all the time and its been the same thing for way to longI hate hearingWell i dont think so or im not sure weeeeelll can u get someone that knows something cause how else can i askAnd i dont understand we if they have a star and a community where is the small community you cater to the small community needs not sell to us like were corporations we dont need big strips of listen big strips of that we need what we need are balconies are small our houses are really small you know out here in West Seattle get a clue stop acting crazy for we put Kmart back there
Home Depot always busy at the moment and all seasons if you need anythings just go you found it even the Philips lamp WiFi you can control with your phone to turn off . i like it good things Thank you Home D
Good customer service.
Good store friendly service, safe location never see anything bad going in parking lot due to the west seattle police precinct shares the same one
If you need to shop at this Home Depot, make sure you check online to see if they’ll have the item you need in store. This Home Depot (on delridge) is one of the smaller footprints this store has and as such doesn’t have as many items on hand as others might.
Been bounced around a couple of times at other stores on the phone. Fay in customer service at the Westwood village store really went out of her way to help me out.Thank you Fay!! Wound up purchasing the top of the line electrolux washer and dryer with all the required accessories. Her customer service was a big part of that purchase.
Great plants and materials to make our backyard the place to hang out! We literally do not want to leave! The reason for 3 star rating is it is so hard to find a knowledgeable employee or any employee for help.
Very nice associate helped me.
Always fun to shop here for garden things.
Typical Home Depot. Great garden center staff.
Good people
Helpful folks, great selection, great prices!
Its one of the greatest of stores I know weather doing small home repairs or arts and craft I never failed in finding what I need!!! Thank you Home Depot. P. S. Though your not an arts and craft store you never know what what Artists can turn into art😁
I bought more fruits, veggies and flowering plants for the first time at this HF (in W. Seattle). Most of the selections in general were in good shape and seemed to be maintained. While the employees when checking out in the garden werent knowledgeable about planting, the effort was made for a guesstimated answer.
Friendly and helpful staff. I became a first-time homeowner about a year ago and while I know a bit about general maintenance, I’ve had plenty of questions along the way which have pretty well been answered by the team at The Home Depot.
Bad service. We went there and asked for a lumber to unload some plywood but we waited for half an hour and nobody came to help
Helpful staff. Quick check out on a busy Saturday. Parking lot is too small. Not big truck friendly.
Can always find what I need. No pushy customer service.
Lots of help 8n the store.
About average not much help but good prices
If I had room in my bedroom to get one of these little freezers I would have I dont have the space yet but when I do I will be going back to make a big purchase
Found some of what I needed and when I asked for help I was sent to opposite sides if the store twice. Could use better customer service. Their supplies were not stocked to well, but I did score a deal on a Miluakee jobsite radio since it was the last one. I will continue to just hit a lumber yard for supplies.
Good prices and have just about everything you need with friendly customer service
They were very helpful about lighting fixtures & Anastasia was extremely freindly & knowledgeable about kitchen counter surfaces... especially granite & quartz info!
Always a great place to get things that you need.
The employees theres were very helpful and spent the time answering my questions and making sure it was the right product that I needed for my project.
This store as many other has an excellent selection in Plants either decorative or that can produce some fruits and vegetables, plus the garden area is well maintain and organize that you can find easily what you are looking for, store in-side is clean but either i came on a bad moment or simply they recently receive a lot of products and run out of space in the store area, since many aisles where either block or with barely enough space to see what you were looking for, overall the store might not be as spacious as other location but defensively will have what you are looking for. Note: if you driver a large truck or have a small trailer with you, park farther from the store, you might have to walk more, but it will be easier to leave when need it.
Place is ok known for supporting trump though :(
Bad service... harassed by employees while tryingg to shop
