Lovely store. Very big and has a large selection compared to other Michaels locations i have been to.This was my first time using an earned reward with the Michaels Rewards program and the cashier that assisted me was very kind and walked through how to use the app and to access the award.However there was a young lady working that was not wearing her mask, it was under her chin, which is why I gave a 4 star.

Michaels is a very nice arts & crafts store with a great selection. I go there for drawing media and accessories. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Their pricing is quite high, which has long become the norm for brick and mortar - type stores. There are regular sales and coupons available if you look for them, so that the prices arent too far away from the typical online discount giants. I try to support a local store if I can, but Im not going to pay outrageous prices in doing so. Fortunately, at Michaels, as long as coupons are taken advantage of, you can get the most out of your hard-earned dollar.

Employees were very thorough with assistance, however the various types of metals available for jewelry have been greatly reduced so I was able to purchase the correct materials for my projects.TL;DR - Nice people but corporate made them drop the silver materials section - jump rings, lever back hooks, etc.

This one in Daytona isnt bad it is a little older but still has a lot of inventory and since its older there arent many people.

Michael’s has taken thousands from me but for some reason I continue to come here almost every day. The staff is great and has been great ever since I have frequented this location. My only complaint is that they do not keep their clay section stocked!!! It’s like they only order clay when everything is really low.

Once you find someone to help you, they are very friendly and helpful and help you find exactly what you need.

Michaels craft store is just ok anymore. I first went to a Michaels craft store 40 yrs ago. Its changed a lot. Not for the good either Im afraid. I was there the other day & I asked an employee if Michaels was going out of business. Thats what it looks like. Yall need to do something different & better. Hobby Lobby is blowing yall out of the water. Your fine arts department is good. I feel you need more crafty type inventory maybe. Fabric dept.? Home decor? Something is missing. The store in Daytona Beach is dull & dark. Unattractive. Too quiet. The layout is, meh. Your competition is Hobby Lobby. I love their home decor goods. Some people buy the home decor items. Someone like myself would look for the craft & art supplies to make my own. The home decor inventory is inspiring. To inspire design is great. Makes me want to make things. What about getting bigger stores with more of what your competitors are stocking. Classes too. I was looking for a class on the new Paint Pouring trend. Paint pouring is awesome! Takes a lot of paint too.$$$ Classes are money makers. Make a big deal about classes. I dont know what else to suggest. Do something. Yall are sinking. Stop sinking! Spectacular. I had went to 3 stores to find what I was looking for and none of them had it. I found it within 5 minutes of being in Michaels. Plus they had excellent attitudes and made me feel like I was welcome and they enjoyed their job!

Got my daughter tasty brand cooking supplies. Order online, pick it up and it was easy!

I went looking for a specific item. There were associates at the entry making sure carts were clean and available. I asked where I could find my item. I found what I wanted and I was on my way very quickly. Everyone was helpful and friendly.

Michaels is one of the best craft stores. I have been to. They have big sales. They sell things. In bulk or in single packages anything for your craft needs that you want to do or want to try to do. They have staff there that will help you. You can find anything and everything there at Michaels that you need to do. Any Home Project craft project. But just for the kids to come in and pick their own and have fun. I love Michaels and will always go there. Thank you for everyone there. Who is so kind?

Nice friendly staff, unloaded me quicker than expected. Sad to see so many stores in Daytona going to the outlet mall, glad to see they wanted to stay in an easier to reach location for truckers.

Love Michaels, but this one needs help in the staffs attitudes. Also the sales are never clearly marked and are hard to understand what is part of what sale sign. Also, when you go to ask, some are very helpful while others act like you are bothering them. FYI: this involves night staff since that is always the time of day I go.....

My wife has always done the trips here. She was stuck at work so I said I would swing by for her. Wow is all I can say. Not my thing, but if youre into the artsy crafty stuff I dont see how you could miss here. Their online site even tells you which aisle to find the things in. I would highly recommend checking that out first. Otherwise you could be wandering forever. 😉Also the staff was very helpful in tracking down additional items when they only had 3 on display and I needed 6.

The best craft store in town. You go in to buy arts and crafts supplies and youll walk out with said supplies plus a smile. The staff is so genuinely kind and helpful. I couldnt ask for more from a arts and crafts store. I love it and would recommend it to any artist or DIYer.

I went in when they first opened to make a return. The cashier, a heavy set, middle aged woman, was up on a ladder stocking some shelves. She huffed and puffed as if I was bothering her when she saw me waiting near the register.She was very rude and condescending from the beginning of my interaction with her. She first told me that I couldn’t return my item without a receipt. I told her I had my card to look up the purchase, which I have done previously. She told me she couldn’t look it up with my card.She stated she would have to give me a store credit and when she tried, the item wouldn’t scan. She continued to mutter things and mentioned that she was going to get in trouble for doing this return.She finally called her manager.The manager asked the cashier what the problem was and asked if she tried to use my card to lookup the receipt.Long story a bit shorter, the manager used my card to find the receipt (which is what I initially asked the cashier to do) and she refunded my card (which the cashier told me she couldn’t do)Unfortunately because of this experience, I will not be back.

Love finding a new craft to make or finding a 40+ percent coupon, they have the best Halloween decorations that you just cant walk past and not buy and admire! I actually love this store they have a wide range of pretty much everything you could need craft wise and for decorating the only bad thing was one employee was very rude there was broken glass on the floor because there were children running around and 1 of the children 3 to 4 years old knocked glass off a shelf and it busted so I told a lady that works there and she said yeah well get to that later very rudely the entire time I shopped and checked out she never went and had the glass taken care of or ask anyone else to take care of it and she was not even busy she was just leaning up against the counter but 1 bad seed shouldnt ruin it for the whole group everyone else was wonderful! Several other employees were friendly helpful one greeted me as soon as I walked in asked me if I needed a shopping cart was willing to go get it for me without me asking her to.. Over all its a great place to shop!

Great Available Selection and Website was correct for their inventory. I wish they had more employees to help people with items as well as better knowledge about more products. Not a lot of people could help a women about paint and markers. So i stepped in but pther than that great store

I like the store and the merchandise and the chain advertises that they accept competitors’ coupons (and have for years!) ... however I presented one from AC Moore today, a national arts/crafts hobby store. Cashier gave me a hard time about accepting it and tried to tell me she couldn’t accept it because there were no physical AC Moore locations within 100 miles..... (there is one in Jacksonville approximately 100 miles north of here ... but still, I NEVER heard of this policy before? Anyone? She only begrudgingly agreed to take the competitor coupon when I said never mind I wouldn’t buy the item and started to leave.... then she said she’d take it...
