A+ all the way, the beagles are freshly made in the store, the sandwiches are perfect portioned, the sides are great like the hash brown and the potatoes, the omelets are great too. The service is amazing the servers are super friendly, the owner always super helpful the kitchen is open so you can see where the magic starts. A place love by tourists and locals.
The girlfriend and I eat here this morning, let me tell you....... AMAZING FOOD! She had the French toast and hash browns and she loved it, I had the Greek omelette which was one of the best omelettes I’ve had! Everything made fresh!!!!
I came here for breakfast this morning and Ill probably be back again tomorrow morning. We are staying across the street and decided to try a local restaurant. I ordered a veggie hash with a peach bellini and side of grits, while my partner ordered a big breakfast. Both meals were good and fairly priced.
We arrived around 3:20 Friday afternoon, when we walked in we realized they were technically closed already, so we started to leave. The nice lady behind the counter said she was going to be there for a little while longer and shed be more than happy to still serve us some lunch!! She certainly did not disappoint!! Fantastic service & fantastic food and drinks!! I highly recommend and would definitely go there again!!

I got a breakfast burrito and let me tell you it was the best I’ve had so far. There was a wait time because it was very busy but I would say it’s worth the wait. The staff was very nice and it looked like an all around good environment! I loved it and would 100% go back!
One of the BEST places in Daytona Beach Shores for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Family owned and operated, this friendly little gem is our Sunday go-to after a sunrise beach walk. I cant recommend the Nova Lox Sandwich (Get it on an EVERYTHING bagel!) or the Breakfast Burrito enough! And speaking of bagels, these are truly the best in the area! Give the High Tide Kitchen a try... you will not be disappointed!
Without a doubt proof that some people just should not be in the restaurant business. Did not appear crowded for Thursday morning. The chef was doing the best you could behind the grill. But when youre counter people cant be counted on, it doesnt go well for speedy service. I waited at least 15 minutes to get three toasted bagels two with cream cheese. The salted bagel wound up being a plain bagel sprinkled with salt. Absolutely incredible that a place like this is still in business.
Jewel of place in the Daytona area. Many other places are just interested in turn and burn food. This quasi-diner with nod to the homestyle has a clean space and great staff. The menu items are simple and delicious. Everything we ordered tasted like it was made just a few minutes before we are. Nice variety on the menu for breakfast and lunch.
Walked in about 8am, only people in the restaurant. We sat down and short haired blonde server came to get our drink order and and was rushing us to get our order in, not being from the area, we asked for extra time twice. She comes over and my boyfriend starts to order and she asks what I want, I go to speak, she says you can have some more time… walks away. Put in the food order for my boyfriends food, never comes back to get my order. Food arrives and she walks away. Was too busy talking to coworker to pay attention to her table. Ate some of my boyfriends bagel, strawberry cream cheese was watery, over whipped. Boyfriend said his omelet was sloppy, home fries undercooked. Would never come back. Left hungry. Worst service I’ve ever had.
Great place for breakfast and lunch awesome food servers great. People need to be more understanding that there is a staff shortage everywhere in this country and be to be patient. Be part of the solution and not the problem.
After eating breakfast at several diners here in Daytona, we decided to try High Tide Kitchen. So glad we did! The food was simply amazing. And the staff was extremely friendly. This place is a must try for breakfast and lunch!
We ate here several times during our vacation and everything was so good! The pancakes were some of the best I’ve had, with the nice crispy edges. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, the French toast was delicious, and my husband loved the corned beef hash so much he got it every time.
Great place, atmosphere and decor is awesome, we had breakfast and I must say the Greek omelet is the best Ive ever had! Bagels were really good as well. Great service, great food and a great place. Check it out!
We went here to get bagels To Go. The bagels werent anywhere in sight and so we asked what they had left, they pointed to the board. Same response for the cream cheeses. A little customer service/interaction attitude would be awesome. When we paid the bill, she didnt give us the right change..she had rounded our bill up. Hmmm? Ive seen this in the past but theres always been something posted about what theyd do if you didnt give exact change or charge your bill. Heres the Goodness... the bagels were nice and fresh, toasted nicely and generous amount of cream cheese. Really enjoyed them.

Very DisappointedFood is good, but service was horrible. We chose to sit outside because of COVID and it was like they forgot about us. After waiting for 30 minutes I walked in to see the food on the counter. They said theyd bring it right out. we waited another 5 minutes, needless to say the food was cold when we received it. We had to go back in to ask for silverware and what was given to us was covered in food. I asked for a second set and they were also covered in food. We ended up eating our meals with our coffee spoons. Will not be back and will recommend you stay away.

Today we had the MOST incredible meal at High Tide! My hubby got the Surfer Dude breakfast and I had the chicken salad on a sesame bagel with fries. Both were perfection! Not only is the food delicious but the portions are so generous and the staff is wonderful! We never miss a chance to eat here when were in Daytona!
It was incredibly hot in here today. Miserably hot. I decided to ask for my food to go because my family and I were so uncomfortable. The food was great and service from Alissa was excellent. Seems like poor management does not value comfort of customers.

Dont bother with this place. Negative Star for attitude. Very unorganized and chaotic. They should have a system for inside and to go orders. Just to place a simple order of a bagel, egg and cheese had me wait over 20 minutes. The owner lady kept telling me I can wait outside or in my car as they had many orders inside. After telling her for the 3rd time, I said I was fine waiting inside.But she waited on more orders of people coming in. She finally realized I was still waiting and made the order herself.
What a terrible experience with this restaurant this morning. Alisha was a terrible waitress. Had to ask to get a menu. She approached the table to take our order and then we waited for our food which didn’t come until after others around us came in and ordered after us. After serving food never once came back to table to see if we needed anything. Never offered a refill on coffee. And then never brought our check. We had to ask for that at the register.

Spent $23 dollars with tip for 6 bagels and two half pounds of cream cheese to go. The bagels are TERRIBLE! Rock hard. I could have gotten better bagels from Publix for 1/3 the price. They were pulled out of a bag and ice cold. I know I cant get a NY bagel but I actually threw these out after one bite.
One of my favorite places to eat with my family. They have a little outdoor spot to eat as well as inside seating and to go. Support local! The owners are great people. It’s very family friendly and a great place to stop right before you go to the beach. Try an everything bagel with egg and bacon for breakfast or a delicious gyro for lunch. I could eat here everyday!!
Got confused when we chose this restaurant because we were looking for Beach Bagel Cafe and there was two different signs . Maybe a name change?It was slow when we arrived on Tuesday. Got our drinks right away. Ordered our food and that took quite awhile. A good 25 minutes. Thank goodness we had good company to pass the time.They were very polite . The cook (owner?) Came over to check on how we liked our meals She was the only one in kitchen so maybe the reason it took awhile.The food was excellent, we all enjoyed our meals. Omelets, Berlin Breakfast Sandwich was unique, my daughter enjoyed it. My veggie scramble was very fresh. Great home fries and bagels.Would eat here again. I have seen other reviews where service is slow. I would go when your not in arush.
The food was pretty good, the wait staff is friendly, but its disorganized when you go to pay. People that are waiting to pay and leave, people that are waiting to pick up orders, and people that are waiting to order to go are all gathered around the register(s). Its close to the hotel which is why I went there.
Took ten minutes just to get a soda and sweet tea. Then after waiting nearly an hour without getting our food we left. Never got a chance to try the food. Was our first bad dining experience in the area. Wont be returning. Many fantastic breakfast and lunch restaurants to go to instead. The Cracked Egg Diner is one block over and a far superior dining experience.

Had my doubts when we walked in, but when we received our food it was great. We ordered the Big Breakfast, large pancake, 2 eggs, hash browns, 2 large sausage patties. It was great!!. My wife and I shared and had plenty. Would definitely recommend!!!

Good house made corned beef hash. Hubby loves their omelets. We had a bit of a problem with eggs ordered over med-well came out more like sunny side up. I asked them to be cooked move. Server took eggs away and I saw her requesting that from the cook.Right at this time, a huge crowd of spring breakers came in and the cook was helping move tables together. Anyway, our server told the owner who cooked some eggs for me. I was finished with my breakfast when the eggs arrives, and I really didnt want them, but I saw how perfectly cooked they were. Ate them. They were delicious. The other owner came over to apologize and asked if they could do anything else for me. I told them I was happy. Things happen in a busy restaurant.
I cant come to Daytona beach and not have High tide for breakfast. Great food, great customer service from Bree and others . Even when a mess up happens they fix it quickly . Great place, come on and enjoy it .I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT . DO NOT MISS IT .

I found this place online after googling best bagel in Daytona... I have never been happier listening to reviews. I took my entire family to High Tide Kitchen this morning and EVERYONE loved it!!Blueberry pancakes were outstanding, French toast was fabulous, and of course the bagels were perfection!!Atmosphere was upscale but felt very charming. The owner came out and asked how everything was. My 12 year old asked who the chef was bc he wanted to say thank you and she looked at him and said “kid, you are looking at her!” Very cute :)Highly, highly recommended!

The food is delicious and the staff really cares that you are there! Absolutely the best home fries around! This year they also remodeled, making a great place even greater. The owner is on site and greets each group, as well as comes over to the table at the end of your meal to thank you personally for coming in and making sure your experience was a good one. Being appreciated as a customer is truly priceless. Just writing this review makes me want to go there again tomorrow!
My mom especially loved the grits. You can get a bagel with cream cheese instead of the toast. Great deal.
I cant recommend this place enough! Top quality food and even better service! I eat here 2-3 times a week, never disappoints! They have amazing breakfast and an even better lunch! Definitely the best gyro in the area! Locally owned and operated, the quality is an indicator of that!
Best breakfast Ive ever had!
We had breakfast this morning at High Tide Kitchen. While the food was very tasty, my wife and I suffered from stomachache and diarrhea. We both had omelets. Before receiving our meals, we noticed that the tables were dirty and full of food leftovers from the previous customers. After telling the waitress, she apologized and cleaned the table while we had to hold our plates. None of the waiters and waitresses wore gloves. There is definitely a lack of hygiene at this restaurant.
Great food! Menu is elevated from your average diner/ breakfast spot. Family owned and operated! Pancakes were light and very tasty. Two small modifications requested with the order and there were no problems! Vegetarian friendly! Attentive service, fresh food, very clean, highly recommend! (Dont be fooled by sign out front that says Beach Bagel Cafe)

Waited forever for simple breakfast sandwiches that were not worth waiting for. The fruit salad was slimy, like they made it the day before - not edible. My husband left hungry. I guess they make a living on vacationers that ... because we are local and will not be back. I almost asked for our money back.

The cook who has a large beard had no face covering or gloveson. And Im not concerned with covid but those hairs on his face. The owner was stirring a pot of soup and after tasting it she actually placed the same spoon back in to stir it again.. I KID YOU NOT. Omelette was oily and such a small portion of potatoes.
I can’t believe this place has 4.5 stars. The waitress didn’t want to deal with our order being messed up and the cook had to yell at her to come back to the table.. On top of that it was 84 degrees inside! They were out of straws and never got a refill on drinks the whole time we ate. Not coming back.
High Tide Kitchen was a breath of fresh air in Daytona. We were very unfamiliar with the area and kept having the worst luck finding good restaurants during our week long stay. We found High Tide on our last day, but if we would have found it sooner, we would have eaten here every morning.The food is delicious, its very clean inside and the whole place has a modern vibe that reminds me of cute restaurants on the west coast. Our server also provided the best service we had all week! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Florida.
I visited High Tide today for breakfast and I was very impressed with the new renovations. The food was also amazing! This was my second visit and I can’t wait to go back to try lunch. The staff is very pleasant from the moment you walk into the door. This place is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it.

Food was decent. Waited 10 minutes for a server to come to our table and only 3 other tables were occupied inside at this time. Service was extremely slow. Server did not come back for refills and did not bring our check to the table. I had to go up to the register and ask for it. Decent food, bad service. That’s all.
Being a 35 yr local of Wilbur I saw these guys gut the old Bagel place over the last few months. Its very hard to find a go to place for breakfast on the island, the wife and I decided to try the newly remolded High Tide Kitchen.We were really impressed with our new spot. Rose said the pancakes were the best ever super light and not like glue. I had a 2 egg breakfast with sausage patties and our tab was 17.00. Super clean and friendly with really modern trendy décor. Congrats on the new place to whomever and well see you again soon.

Family owned bistro and it is amazing. The food is fresh and one of the owners makes soups and desserts from scratch. They also have real BAGELS brought in daily from NY for all us northerners. The service is very good and the atmosphere and decor is relaxing, modern and coastal. I highly recommend.

Nice outdoor eating spot. You can smell the ocean breeze. High Tide Kitchen says Best Gyro In Town!And they are! For something different try the Nova Lox bagel. Awesome! This will be our regular stop.

Love to eat here. Very clean and staff is excellent the food is awesome and we love to try new foods. They have a great breakfast and my husband and I (R&R) love it. Theyre so friendly, the food is the best and we havent tried anything we didnt like. We will always eat here when we are in Daytona Beach we sit at the counter and you can watch the cooks, Theyre clean and respectful we cant say enough about the staff, atmosphere and the food. Cant go wrong here.
The food was delicious. The prices are fare. The place is clean. The employees are friendly. We will visit here again. They went above and beyond by staying open a little late just to brew us some to go coffee. Very nice of them.
Absolutely chaotic when we went. Sluggish service, but the kid who was trying to help in between busing tables was extremely nice. Thats pretty much why Im not going with zero stars. They need a more managed system. Breakfast shouldnt take an hour and a half. Just saying.
This place started off great but has gone down hill fast. The owner seems to be attempting to cut cost by serving and cooking herself and it is ruining the place. Just left and our meals were literally disgusting.. medium egg, runny. Burnt bacon, tea tasted like soap

Place is much nicer and feels cleaner since the remodel. Food was typical diner style breakfast. Did take out, could have been a little faster but it was a Saturday morning. Very good bagels.
