This particular location is a downer there are no actual cart only handbasket so if you want to really shop thats going to be difficult there arts and craft section is Shawty and under supplied their stuff all over the store and their Associates talked openly about private matters and one was coughing and hacking and sneezing so bad I wasnt even sure if I wanted him to touch my merchandise this particular Family Dollar I would avoid unless youre in a tight squeeze or are just in the area

The Cashier was so rude and preoccupied talking about his shoes with a stain he recieved at work, that he was going to wear one day and return. That he rang me up twice,for the same item, and never said thank you, or have a nice evening, which I said both. Screaming accross the sales floor about his shoes to the manager. This is my third horrible experience with this cashier. His temperment and ability to be polite is beyond his grasp.

My visit began by being incorrectly informed that the current sale items expired last week. I informed them that the items were in the just received circular, and for sone reason was not properly working in the phone app. Whats worse is that the shelves identified the sales items. However, using the phone app for coupon sale items, I was not only overcharged for the sale priced items, but the employee could not correct the price. The app failed me. Although the cashier tried to correct the problem, they failed me as well. I ended up driving too far from home to be ripped off. I went there for the sale price and I should have received the sale price.

Unfortunately there was a backed up line and one cash register open. Friendly help.

Its a great place to go shopping.

Stopped by this store because my 6 year old really needed to go to the bathroom and he couldnt hold it any longer. Anybody who has kids understands. Walked in and kindly asked the lady who i assume is the manager if i could please have my child go in for a short call. she blatantly told me NO and that its not her problem and that bathrooms are not for customers. Seriously for a 6 year old you cant make an exception ??totally unprofessional and inhuman. Dont go here

Clean helpful

Bad staff. Except for the young lady at the register. She was polite, friendly and helpful. And apparently she was not happy with staff either. The men were rude and just a little bit scary. Although the prices and the coupons were good I would never want to have to shop in the store with those guys again

This store needs new refridgeration units. nothing ever cold. milk is usally turning. bought bad milk from here 3 times, bad sour cream. etc. dont buy groceries.

The store was extremely unorganized. Lots of empty shelves. But after looking around a little while I did find what I came for. They had some really cute things in the household area I was really surprised.

Friendly, decently priced! Some items were much higher than up north stores, surprisingly. Clean, large selection, watch at check out got home and 3 items were over charged and have to take off, a major inconvenience as have to walk a mile 1 way to take back.

Although the cashiers are friendly I do not appreciate that they treat customers like criminals asking me to leave my purse at the front of the store. Last week I spent $100 at the family dollar on Ridgewood and then I went back home and realized I forgot a few things so I returned to the store after getting my daughter from school and the same cashier who JUST checked me out asked me to leave my bag and my daughters bookbag at the front of the store! I informed the cashier that I just got paid that day and my entire paycheck was in my purse and she suggested that I just take my wallet out of the bag. So I simply responded that I will just take my money to another store and I left. I did the remainder of my shopping up the street at walgreens on international and ridgewood. Thier prices are actually pretty great and they dont treat you like some criminal thug in front of your child 😃

It is where I make last minute purchases, good attention, although not excellent.

Not everything is worth a dollar but it has variety and good prices
