A brief detail of the scope of work I requested from Marine Custom Solutions is as follows; Repair multiple holes in the transom of my Mako Pro Skiff and relocate the transducer to the optimal performance location on the transom. I first met Kenny of Marine Custom Solutions at the Dayton home show where he had a substantial display of Raymarine Electronics. After, a brief discussion about Raymarine equipment I explained the damage to my boat from removing the factory installed depth/fish finder and purchasing a new depth/fish finder. The previous depth/fish finder was installed on the left side of the motor, so I installed the new depth/fish finder on the same side, however, the holes did not match up. the performance of the new depth/fish finder was extremely poor at this location, so I called the manufacture and they recommended the new depth/fish finder be installed on the opposite side of the transom, subsequently, more holes in the transom. Relocated the depth/fish finder as the manufacture instructed, had problems again, more pentrations. Long story short, Kenny at Marine Solutions provided a proposal (cost) to repair the transom pentrations and again relocate the transducer. As most of you know its extremely difficult to find someone that can execute marine repairs with superior craftsmanship at a fair cost... Well, I discovered Marine Customs Solutions is the company that everyone is looking for. The repairs are excellent, within the cost proposal and within the time that I was quoted. You cannot tell there was ever any penetrations within my transom. Great job Kenny at Marine Custom Solutions. I have attached pictures of before and after, the first three depict the penetrations, the last three present the quality of the workmanship.

I am the rowing coach at Embry-Riddle and have up to four motors that need regular maintenance and service. I have taken the boats to other dealer/service departments and waited for weeks (months) to get my boat back on the water. I recently purchased a used boat that needed some love and care so I looked up Marine Custom Solutions. They made prompt work of my wiring and lights along with installing a top of the line stereo head unit with customization and 4 speakers. Also, I had bottom paint put on and they told me of their sanding process and multiple coats of high quality paint they use. They fixed an open wound on the boat with fiberglass along with matching the lines and color. With all that and a motor tune up this thing is a beauty that turns eyes. Couldn’t be happier. Kenny is a master craftsman with a keen attention to detail. I hired him to replace the cabin headliner in my Boston Whaler Conquest. It was sagging and I suspected It was from water leaks. Very few canvas and upholstery shops were interested. It’s a labor intensive, nasty task that many canvas & upholstery shops turned away from taking the job. He removed and bedded every fitting to eliminate possible leaks. I also had him powder coat the cabin door frame that had peeling paint. Kenny had done some work on my friends Raymarine autopilot a few weeks ago before we left on our 8 day delivery trip The second day of the trip the autopilot started acting crazy so we called Kenny for help. He did a bit of research on our problem and called back to describe the autopilots position sensor that he thought was causing the problem and what may have happened to it to cause the problem.With that clue we found the sensor and it was not damaged or any visible magnetic material nearby. But looking further we saw a Yeti insulated cup was jammed in the seat cushion up against the forward bulkhead just in back of where the position sensor was mounted. We removed it and low behold the autopilot was back to normal.So thanks Kenny for dropping everything and helping a sailor in distress. He went beyond the call to help out.

My island packet was taking on water via my improperly installed PSS shaft seals and my bilge pump just couldn’t keep up with the water entry. They identified that the cooling hose wasn’t properly secured and resulted in inporoper wear to the graphite seal against the stainless collar.Kenny and his guys replaced the graphite collar all while my vessel was in the water. My 2002 560 searay sedan was in Palm Ciast for 8 weeks and Raymarine put me in touch with them. Over the 8 weeks Kenny and his crew fixed a botched up installation by someone else and then proceeded to TLC the boat from new cushions to water pumps to switched. Probably got 2 years of DIY jobs done to put my vessel way ahead of where I thought it would be!

Kenny did a great job replacing my broken steering cable. He also organized my battery box, professionally routing and connecting all wires.I had estimates from local shops that were far higher than what Marine Custom Solutions charged. They are now my go-to for all my boat repairs.

I live in Atlanta and keep a boat in Floridia. My Hunter 46 had old and leaky portlight seals which needed replacement, and I didnt want to spend the time to come down and do it myself, but I couldnt get any of the service companies I contacted in Ft. Lauderdale to quote the replacement or even return my call. When I reached out to MCS, they responded promptly, and got me on the schedule for the next week, in time to get the work done before my family was scheduled to come down and use the boat. Kennedy traveled down to Ft. Lauderdale, and as I was out of town, provided updates over the course of the day, including photos and video, of the work performed. He also managed to take care of a propane solenoid electrical connection issue for me while they were on site. MCS did excellent quality work, cleaned up after themselves, and even left me a free t-shirt. :) I could not be happier with the work performed, and just as important, the courtesy, responsiveness and professionalism of the team. I plan to call them again next time I need work done.

I was purchasing a new 2018 Searay 350 coupe and didn’t know what to expect as this was my first major large boat purchase. I had a friend refer Kenny with Marine Custom Solutions to be the assist me. When the boat was delivered, Kenny took delivery and ran the boat through an ocean run and a proper shakedown run. He came back to the dealer with a list of needed repairs and when the dealer attempted to side step some issues he insisted to have them resolved due to his expertise.When I ordered my boat the factory refused to install additional features and options I wanted, so Kenny priced everything out and had the accessories installed on the boat for me. I was surprised that the factory was refusing to add any extras, even though I was willing to pay for them.I used the boat for a couple months and then wanted it moved up north, so I reached out again and kenny arranged the transport to my home in NYC. He saved me over a 1000$ by having it delivered to a NJ marina and flew in to captain it to my slip across the bay to Brooklyn!Marine custom solutions was with me from every step of the way. I worked with Marine Custom Solutions on a collaborative project on an vintage Searay 26’ restoration. Kenny’s knowledge and experience in marine systems really payed off. He was able to bring the electrical systems up to date and to ABYC standards. We were able to turn the boat back over to the customer within 3 weeks from beginning the project. He installed a new Raymarine element display and fishfinder and replaced the gauges and display with a new acrylic panel.
